Rum cake is one of my favorite desserts and man oh man did this recipe come through! My friends and coworkers loved it. Now today is the second time I'm making it. Thank you for sharing such a Great Recipe!!
Thank you for your beautiful simple recipe it was very clear and neat I appreciate it and I love you baby in the background keep on sending those good recipes thank you
@@WhatWereEating I have to admit tho. Ya made it yours with the addition of the brown sugar..I almost overcooked my glaze and it was dark & close to caramelizing..but ya KNOW WHAT!? The crowd LOVED the new version. The browned butter & sugars added a depth a flavor I didn't know you could achieve..😋
Hi thank you for sharing this delicious cake recipe 😊I have two questions what temperature should I bake it? And I’m making this cake today but the bday is tomorrow, so should I keep the cake tonight in the refrigerator or outside? Thank you ❤
Only way to go..considering Barcardi created this recipe in the 70s my Mom made it every holiday occasion & now me from the 90s on..now my daughter..its become family tradition
The kids can eat it because the rum alcohol burns off when you heat up the wrong when you’re cooking it or when it’s baked so it just has the ram flavor but the alcohol is burned out
@@WhatWereEating okay. If you did how much would you charge for this cake? I'm thinking about starting a small cake business. Can you also tell me about your experiences with the business ? Pros and cons.
Girrrrl, you could get drunk from this cake! I bet your whole house smells like a party, Lol! And you’re right, don’t give it to children; too alcoholic, and they tend to dump their slices into the trash-talking about being mad at some parents for not supervising their children after you’ve looked in the garbage and found half of your cake has been tossed! You could tell that your cake may have been fully baked for some time-look at how far it had separated from the pan. I sure would like a piece. For real!
Hi, I made this, I used to oil this time like you said :) But one problem, all my nuts were stuck at the bottom/top :> I still scooped them out :) What did you use to greas your pan doll? And it was amazing tasting ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡ Thank you for showing us :)
Looks absolutely yummy!
Thank you!
