A little bit about me: My story is one of abuse, addiction, healing and redemption. God can redeem any hurt we face and truly give beauty for ashes. I have a heart for abuse victims, those struggling with addiction or recovery (of any kind), any anyone facing a hurt, habit, or hang up (well, that's pretty much all of us!). At age 12, I was groomed for abuse by a trusted church leader. For years I struggled with low self-worth, anxiety, depression, and addiction. But as I became brave enough to vocalize the things I secretly struggled with (we're only as sick as our secrets), the light began to flood the darkness, and I now know a freedom that I had never experienced before. My favorite part of recovery is “When you make it to the other end of the fire, you carry buckets of water back in for those still battling the flames.”
There is a little bit of something here on this channel for everyone! I'm a huge Disney fan and collector. I’ve reached out to customer service about the CoverFX product. It seems to be a widespread issue and they have an automated response for it:
We're so sorry your Cover FX Palette arrived broken. We know this is an awful experience when opening your box and we're taking the right steps to ensure a better unboxing experience moving forward. We aren't reshipping this product, as we are being extra cautious about it arriving damaged. We'll add a $10 Fall Edit Sale credit, which you can use when the sale opens and if you decide not to shop the Edit Sale, reach out to us and we can move your credit to a different sale. We just need to gather a bit of information from you to process this for you.
I really like how genuine you are and that you’re not afraid to get right into the products and try them on camera.
I usually add a disclosure that I typically don’t have any clue what I’m doing. 😂

I add isopropyl alcohol to the powder crumbs before I press the product back in the pan. I add enough to make it creamy. Be careful with the edges of the pans because they can be crazy sharp. You can protect your fingers with a folded paper towel which will also absorb some of the alcohol. It should dry in a couple of hours. Good luck fixing it!

It sounds like that CoverFX item came broken for alot of people. 😩 FFF had an automated response setup for people reaching out to them about it. I just think that due to the nature of the product (pressed powder), it likely doesn’t take much bumping around in transit to damage it.

Yeah, that’s what I’m hearing as well. FFF responded with a $10 credit for their fall sale. They said they are not sending replacements for fear of the replacement also breaking in transit.
