I just got my Saturn V6 a WD about a week ago secondhand. I’m gonna take it to the shop to somebody I trust and give it the once over…And don’t yell at me for not giving it a once over before I bought it because I only got it for $1000.. I do not have car payments which is the best kind of car. It has 160,000 miles on it. Wish me well because I’m gonna give it the once over as so far so good
I have the '05 base model with 4 cylinder engine. My wife bought n3w and gave it to me when my car (Lincoln) broke down too many times and she then bought a newer car.
It now has 97,000 miles on it and I really like it. The biggest expense was replacing the AC because I blew the compressor seals. That'll teach me I think. Other than that it's just had new tires and a rear wheel bearing . I had the sway bar links replaced when they were worn but that was preventive maintenance because I want this car to last so I take care of it. Plastic door panels keep the finish looking brand new. Surprisingly the brakes are all original. No payments, low insurance and good mileage. Can't beat it for a retired guy.

They're all right now getting the v6 and not the v4 the V4 is kind of garbo
Taylor Bee there’s no such thing as a V4 engine. 4 cylinder engines are almost always in a straight line, because they don’t take up enough space to be in a V formation. Some 4 cylinders, like old VWs, are in an H shape.

The interior of mine is nicer, black leather and sued. But this is a looker too.i love the body style. I've owned 2v-6 vues. Both had awd. Nice and fast. Great space
My 2005 Vue had 78K miles on it when I bought it in 2015. It has never let me down, the usual maintenance items like plugs, brakes, oil changes (synthetic oil) and a set of Good Year premium tires and a premium exhaust system. It's a 5 speed, easy to shift and the clutch seems indestructible. Rides fine and handles well, especially in the winter, the tire purchase really paid off here. The engine is the GM L4 185 horse and it really makes the Vue feel sporty. The body is PVC and is still looking good. The wheels are cast aluminum alloy and have not held up well. All in all, a very good vehicle and a good match for my driving style. Now have 100K miles on the clock and people think it's newer then it really is. .
That’s not even the fast one the redline come with almost 100 more horsepower. That’s the one you want to get. You just have the basic vue. This one has a Honda j35 engine it’s pretty interesting
@@GreaseMonkGarage Yes I've actually seen a couple, though they had four wheel drive with an automatic trans, which seems strange to me. I have the five speed trans, and I have to keep the cables lubed up otherwise it's gets hard to shift. As it is, myVue is quite peppy and accelerates well enough to surprise a lot of people. Hard to believe it's now 15 years old.
I just got a 06 saturn vue with 17k for $2600 paint clean with no dents...I feel like it the best used car I ever got lol
Interesting car there, I've always like those Vues equipped with the Honda V6s. I also like it more than the 1st-gen Chevrolet Equinox and Pontiac Torrent that GM were selling at the time which were basically the same vehicle with different badging and styling.

I miss my Vue. It was a non Redline but it was 2004 blacked out, heavily tinted. I had plans to do a muffler delete. I regret driving to fast the morning I crashed it smfh it was a fun somewhat, quick enough first car to have for me. Would I buy it again, no, but I miss those days sometimes. Something about having a athletically sporty SUV especially if its black. This gen interior looks better than anything GM put out that decade from early to mid 2000s. Body design doesnt look GM or American tho

Center console, steering wheel, seats. All around plastic
Only a few have decent interior. Most are not appealing. The 06 redline I have is beautiful. Black leather and sued seats. A lot of black and silver.
I have an 07 awd with the Honda v6. Has a very different interior than this. The Honda v6 is great

@@MarvFitBikesKicks they are nice bruh. Just keep looking, you'll find one. I just bought an 06 . Was only 60 miles away from me. So worth the drive and logistics. Don't settle for any other year or model. It's worth holding out for those two you mentioned. Ive owned 3 now. The redline is so nice
@@crow-vz5lx I’ve had an 06 now for while, but I got a dud. This shit is so trash and needs so much work. Exterior looks clean, but I need some mechanical work. There’s some shaking in the front end when I hit over 50mph that no one can figure out. I had the rack and pinion done, motor mounts done and it hasn’t solved the problem. Dying to get rid of this car

i love my vue, i got it all stock base model, but i swapped a redline in it, put it on bags, and 17 in white FRAG wheels, wrapped in galaxy black. more to come to it. moral of the story, any car is badass if your determined enough
not a performance engine? you need to educate yourself on the honda J series engines, they are sleeper performance engines.
Your correct a sleeper. I have a 04 with the Honda engine and it is quick , mind has tv's in the head rest , it was a one owner .
