Local anesthetic didn't work for me when I was hit in the face with a pint glass and needed my eyelid stitching back together. Hurt more than getting hit with the glass 😅.
In relation to resistance to local anesthetic, you have my sympathy. I have it as did the old man. I punched a dentist when I was about 12 because of it, he was trying to pull a tooth out. Now normally the old man would have punched me for that one but he knew the dentist was rushing and not allowing it to work. Well done for getting it done, looking forward to the next video, sounds right up my street.

Chris my wife got a cancellation for injections in her head today which was a result. As for my bloody hip I had my pre op beginning of August and still nothing . Round about now would have been ideal while the weather is still shite 😒

I had a local for my vasectomy and it didn’t work . When the doctor cut my pipe I nearly leapt off the bed. He then jumped and dropped the hot cuarterising iron on my scrotum. An experience I will not forget. Good luck on your recovery Andy and all the best for 2024
Speedy recovery mate , and happy new year , I was in the m r i scanner yesterday for damage to the tendons in my feet , the consultant reckons from years of laddering ( I worked tall buildings for years and years ) the downside is 6 weeks off for each foot , but got to say very good service from the radiologists

Know exactly what you went through, other half is an ophthalmic specialist nurse and assisting cataracts mostly, amazes me you can cut someone's actual eyeball whilst they are awake. You know what it's like when you get a tiny bit of brick in your eye, feels like you want to dig it out with a spoon lol! Hope it all heals up well mate, and all the best for 2024 🙂
