I just finished reading Sid and Arthur the same day this came out. It was a book on the extraordinariy friendship between Sid Vicious and Arthur Askey.
The new album is coming out 3 days after my 5 year anniversary of seeing him live for the first time, which was about 3 weeks after discovering and falling headlong in love with his music. What timing.
I can´t wait to see him for the second time in a few months! Plus having Joe Purdy playing as the opening, two of my favourite artists in one night. Life is complete.
This is what Damien Rice quit feeling; this is what Ryan Adams and Ray Lamontagne have forgotten about...this is what music has needed. Big time is coming for Isakov, and I actually have hope that he doesn’t bend to it’s will.
I haven't given up on Damien Rice yet....His last CD was AWESOME....he spills his guts in his music....Gregory Alan is right up there too in my book! Everytime he comes to Red Butte Gardens, the tickets sell out before I can buy one....I guess I am going to have to volunteer there to be able see/hear him play!! I am glad more people are discovering and appreciating his music though....does my heart good!

Amazing, beautiful voice that touches my soul....flying from Florida to Red Rocks end of Sept to listen to this man. I'll be sharing this experience with my 26 year old daughter. I love every single song this sweet human being sings....
