Great job Chris keep the great videos coming
Thanks, will do!
Hi Chris, That Sagola 4600 is the Stradivarius of paint guns. I wouldn't know how to use it :) In your hands it plays/sprays GREAT!! I just ordered a Porphis 715 and should get it in a couple of weeks. Have a great week!
Awesome! Let me know how you like it.
I sure will. It's on its way as it just left China and I'm sure it will spend some time in the LA Customs Facility. First up is my lawn tractor for practice. A 30 year old Craftsman that needs a new paint job. I bought some Chrysler paint, code PGN green paint and some clear. Overkill for a garden tractor but good to practice on.
The atomisation is awesome, your skill and knowledge help a lot. Great finish. Thank you
Appreciate the support brother!
Beautiful Finish Great Job nice sagola guns
Thanks brother!
Chris :Thanks for all the great information you have provided for us DIYers. I was able to do a successful paint job on my Silverado with just watching your informative demo’s. I have a fender to do yet and Bingo. My truck looks great!!! Thank you with much appreciation .
Awesome!
Love me some Sagola's! Great video Chris!
Thanks brother!
Great video and like that color. Thanks
Thanks for watching!
WOW! Looks good!
Thanks brother!
Hi Chris, an amazing job again and the Sagola really lays the clear on nice you can see it has good atomisation with a very nice and even spray pattern but that's all well and good but it's the painter that makes the gun look good, I've been considering one of these guns for a while and I think you have made my mind up👌
The other cap for this gun is the DVR Pro, thanks for sharing🙏☝John UK
Thanks John! Yeah Awesome guns, on the higher end price wise but these things are built for a lifetime.
Yeah all the big players charge a lot for their guns but Sagola was always cheaper but not anymore.
I have the 4600 clear pro in a 1.3 xl, it’s pretty fast and atomizes well. At about 32 psi I have gotten some glass with it
I can imagine with the 1.3. Love these guns tho even my 3300 gto is fantastic.
Thanks for your videos.
Have you ever had your clearcoat making little white spots, looks like white dust, but the surface and surrounding areas were clean, it was only on one spot.
Would you be interested in making a video on what happens when you do different things wrong. Like I'm guessing my issue was not enough flash time between coats, causing solvent pop, it was 2:1 HS clear with 10% medium reducer and a medium activator. Waited 12min between coats, temp was 29°C, spraying at 1.8 bar.
The only time I've seen something like that it was paint from a pervious job because my gun wasn't fully clean. I don't know if that was your issue but it seems strange that it was just one spot. I will be doing videos on overcoming problems. Takes a bit more planning for those video's but I feel like it'll be extremely helpful.
😎💯👍
👊
I noticed you said you had some dust in one of your first coats of base. You had put another coat over it? I’m getting ready to paint my jeep in the garage and was wondering if this is what your recommend. I know if I get nibs in the clear I can buff it out but I’m not sure what to do if it’s in base stages.
Alot on times I will denib base with 600 but you must apply more base before you clear.
Not cheap in Australia Chris 3 guns are all different prices Base gun is 900 bucks in our money good gun but not cheap .Love the clips.
Your absolutely right. Not a cheap gun, not the most expensive either. I will say their built to last a lifetime tho.
Nice…what’s that colour called?
I really can't remember the name. It is a stock honda color 2011
To reduce dust nibs, why aren't you hanging the panels?
Somtimes I do
Is this gun better then the devilbiss tekna?
I don't have the tekna, but I am picking one up and will be testing it this summer. So stay tuned!
Do you use a 2 stage air compressor?
Yes, 2stage Ingersoll rand 80gal 15.8 cfm
Chris I just came in from the shop I’ve been spraying a base clear job. I was using the FC 720; Slow reducer. I had an issue what happened is the lower half of my square body truck is white with blue above. Last week I did all the white and cleared the white with 2 coats.a couple days ago I sanded the clear with 800. Today spraying the blue above the white on the second coat of base I started getting a reaction a million pin holes the seem to be where the clear from last week was feathered out above the white. I had three spots I was able to sand them out and spot spray some sealer on them but one came back when I spray the blue base. I’m at a loss as to what is going on and how to stop it?
It sounds like some sort of chemical reaction. Sounds like you did everything right. Sometimes this just happens for no clear reason. Whenever I'm going over fresh clean I always try to tread lightly with light coats till it gets some mills with no reaction.
@@GarageNoise Thank you! Have you ever tried the Devilbis Pro lite with a 1.2 and the T110 for clear it lays a nice flat coat.
what size compressor do i need with these guns
You want one that produces around 15cfm
@@GarageNoise oh wow...nevermind thats a big boy..., nice guns tho
Hey, another question for ya. I sprayed 2k primer over epoxy after 24 hours. All is going well. Fixing a few minor dings and when I was blocking out the glazing putty, I suppose I sanded through a layer of the primer and I can see a ring around it. Is this normal or did something go wrong in the priming stage?
It's hard for me to say without seeing it. You could email me a picture, and I can tell you if it looks normal. Garagenoise247@gmail.com
@@GarageNoise ok thanks. I shot you an email.
