It was about the same for the swedish navy. The decades before and about one decade after the WW2 the swedish navy was quite big.
I counted 6 battle ships on wikipedia. Don't know if it correct.
Many cruisers and lots of destroyers. Even a bunch of submarines.
Since many japanese war ships were a the bottom of the pacific and did'nt had a big navy then, sweden was the worlds 3rd largest navy for a while.
But some more knowing swedish naval history feel free to correct me.
