No, Elecktra wasn't a guest performer, she was one of contestants in the 5th heat. She came last, so didn't qualify to the finals. All of the 30 acts in Melodifestivalen are posted once we've reached this point.
Out of the 30 songs 10 were in Swedish, but only one song in Swedish made it to the finals.
Somehow Sweden almost always ends up Top 5 in Eurovision . Somehow Sweden seem to have found some kind of formula to succeed
The formula is Melodifestivalen, the biggest program in Sweden and most Swedes care more about it than Eurovision which allows for the production to be so big and it can incentivise big Swedish artists to participate just for the publicity alone. Also using an international jury+televote system in the final could also helps to find an entry more suiting for Eurovision
