Danny Saucedo har sedan tidigare två silver och ett brons i Melodifestivalen. 2013 var han programledare tillsammans med Gina Dirawi. 2023 blev han invald i Melodifestivalens Hall of Fame för sina insatser i silverbidragen "In the Club" och "Amazing".
Danny Saucedo kom på andra plats med "In the Club" 2011 och året efter blev “Amazing" Dannys andra raka Melodifestival-silver.
Han har vunnit flera Grammisar i kategorin Årets låt och har strömmats över 350 miljoner gånger. På senare år har han huvudsakligen sjungit på svenska. Han har medverkat i Så mycket bättre två gånger och har gjort de populära liveshowerna ”Nu” och ”The Run(A)way Show”. Han programledde även Melodifestivalen 2013. Snart gör han skådespelardebut i tv-serien Scener efter ett äktenskap.
Danny innehar inför sitt deltagande 2024 flera rekord och andra omnämnanden i Melodifestivalens rekordbok:
Delar rekordet Flest deltävlingssegrar, eftersom alla hans fyra bidrag slutat på första plats i sin deltävling.
Danny återvände till Melodifestivalen med "Dandi dansa" år 2021 och slutade på sjunde plats i finalen.

@@patrikedstrom8425 Ja Verkligen! Många frågar med mig, varför ett norskt par och inte en svensk... Det är väl ändå svenskar som bor i Sverige som ska tävla för Sverige tycker jag... Och Norge har ju frågat de norska syskonen ett flertal gånger om de vill vara med där, men alltid tackat nej då de varit/jobbat så mycket i Sverige... hm.. jag tror d e för att de är mer populära i Sverige.. Men vad vet jag... Agg ä ja iaf. över detta. Fel låt gick vidare enligt mig.

I think it is such an important song for him that he was very stressed, and in addition he perfomed as the last artist and he wanted to do the best he can ❤
He said in interview with wiwibloggs that he wanted to win so badly, so perhaps he placed too much pressure on himself and performing last clearly didn't help. But it's obvious that he wouldn't have won anyway. Maybe he would have got 15-20 points more.@@Karolina-zz5vh

Den här låten var bra men konkurrensen i årets final var stenhård. Dock har Danny en otroligt sympatisk och genuin framtoning, så jag höll helt klart på honom!
Jag kan inte tycka att snubben som snor trollstavar från barn i publiken, och i livesänd radio liknar Melodifestival-cirkusen med "att vara på skolresa med en specialklass" upplevs särskilt sympatisk. Men vi tycker väl olika. :)

@@Genmah Han gav ju tillbaka den. Och ja, mello-konceptet är ibland ofokuserat och speedat med massa slumpartade grejer som händer (och är så med flit) men alltid fokuserat på att alla ska må bra och hänga med, så förstår helt vad han menar.
@@mugglesarecooltooEn av TV:s personal fick lämna tillbaka den, Danny själv gjorde det inte. Dessutom sa barnet ”nej”, vilket han struntade i och tog den ändå. Och dessutom ångrade han inte stölden enligt en tidningsintervju. Sen är det inte jättefräscht att använda barn med funktionsnedsättningar som del i ett skämt.
Så, nej, min åsikt står dessvärre fast. Danny har lite att jobba på om han vill framstå som sympatisk. :)

Is it just me or did he actually messed up the lyrics at the beginning (0:35-0:44) and in the middle (2:22)? He started flipping his mic to overcompensate for that with fake confidence. It's hard to believe that it could actually happen for such an experienced artist. He forgot about:

@@tildestenquist He gave an interview in Swedish after the performance saying that he blacked out when the music started. Performance anxiety I guess. And he said he really wanted to win so I guess he put too much pressure on himself.

He had a black out he told afterwards, as soon as the music started. Well, he hid that fantastic with his vocal so smooth and sound, much better than the semi, and his energy and the whole performance was 👌🏻 even with a black out
Why no dancers on stage?
I understand that people wanted more interesting staging but notice how self confident Danny is. So freaking talented. That impressed me.

Danny has a great voice, great looks and the staging looked awesome. But the song itself is quite generic. I hope he will come back with a better song in the future!
