YAMALUBE RS4GP REVIEW BETTER THAN MOTUL & CASTROL ENGINE OIL? BMW G310R MILEAGE TEST SYNTHETIC OIL

  • In this engine oil review video I used the Yamalube RS4GP engine oil which happens to be one of the best and most expensive fully synthetic engine oils that I used in My BMW G310R.
Yamalube RS4GP is a 100% fully synthetic engine oil for 4-stroke motorcycles, developed based on a wealth of technical feedback from Yamaha’s MotoGP factory team. Yamaha say the RS4GP synthetic engine oil was developed with hard use on trackdays and races but also general use on public roads in mind, Yamaha-exclusive technologies and know-how led to determining the ideal base oil and selecting and blending the right additives to create this engine oil. The development concept for RS4GP was created using the same oil expertise leveraged with Yamaha YZR-M1 MotoGP factory racebike. Yamaha claims the RS4GP engine oil offers excellent lubrication, heat dissipation, detergency, and long engine life. RS4GP also claims to bring out the full performance potential of the engine by eliminating as much horsepower loss as possible and thereby improving power and torque-just like an oil for racing in MotoGP.
My BMW G310R is running on the Yamaha RS4GP for about 2000km and this video shares my city, highway and long ride experience with the engine oil.

I owned a Yamaha R15 V3 in the past, and I've used only this particular engine oil during the bike's Lifetime with me.
And I must say, you are absolutely correct, this engine oil was a Gem for my high-revving supersport! I always pushed it to the limit and this oil had never disappointed me during those limit-hitting conditions.

I stretched it all through different situations ( city+highways+ghats ) and It can easily last IMHO 8000-9000kms if you are a sane person. I used to add anti-friction liquid from Liqui moly Mos2 to help retain the high temperature performance

@@martho3012 thanks for the info and 8-9k kms sounds good of an investment for an engine oil priced at 1300, will put this on my 3rd service as the vibrations on handlebar and seat is bothersome at 100 plus speeds with their normal yamalube oil. 70 percent of my run is on highways touring and on a fun bike like R15 speeds like 90-95 feels kind of slow.

Why dont you compare oils.. ur videos are so bland at the moment, it’s basically you buy an oil saying its good oil its good gearshifts its tbn is 20 its viscosity is 69 i did 15km long highway ride where i test it. End..
What will we do knowing the tbn and viscosity of the oil?
Make a list with the best oil on the top and the worst oil at the bottom with respect to tbn, viscosities, gearshifts smoothness mileage. And evertime you check a new oil you add it to the list.

Track and dyno oils often contain ZDDP which is supposed to coat the cylinder and pistol surfaces to reduce wear and friction. The major downside of ZDDP is that it coats and clogs the catalytic converter too. Track bikes are all about performance and they don't have catalytic converters so it is not a problem for them. In the case of road bikes however, a clogged catalytic converter doesn't sound so good for me. I'd suggest sticking to oils specified for street use like Motul 7100 or any Castrol oils.

    Motul 300v 15w50 > Liquimoly 15w50 > Castrol power1 ultimate 15w50 > others...
As a RR310 bs6 rider , i use motul 300v 15w50 .. it is the best engine oil which enhances pick up , throttle response , smooth gear shifting & better riding experience ..
