@@johnnailling2 you could def argue the multiplayer in bo2 was a bit better than bo3 but the replayablity of bo3 zombies is def unrivaled. Even the "bad" maps are better than 60% of zombies maps from other games and the amount of stuff you can do on each map is just insane.

I agree man, I checked my playtime on cods and bo3 is definitely the most played, over 500 hours of my life, some of the best gaming multiplayer gaming I’ve had, quite surprised they haven’t made a cod that stands up to replayhability of bo3

@Swiftec yea those two maps are definitely goated, sure SOE was a bit hard to set up on but once you get everything high rounds are very easy

Besides a few months on bf4 it was my first fps game and first cod game I got into. Never like fps games until playing online then I got hooked. We played black ops 3 until 4 came out lol. Played very little infinite or ww2.
BO4 is my favorite. Don’t know why it was so hated. I loved melee gameplay and the ballistic knife.

This is unironically my favourite cod of all time as an overall game - movement took a bit of getting used to but between the zombies, MP maps, goofy ass unlocks and high skill ceiling it tops out the nostalgia of the older games. I definitely played this a lot more than any other CoD, but MW2, WaW & BO(2) still have a soft spot in my heart.
Thought i was tripping. I loved bo3 and i agree that it had a high skill ceiling. You had to be good with movement instead of just sitting on a building or in a corner.
You gotta do those freerun trials again, those videos and rages were so good 😂

BO3 honestly might've been my favorite COD and i've played since the original MW. The maps were great, the streaks were dominant, it was enjoyable to watch. I could play pubs non stop, just casually rolling lobbies and vibing

Yeah the movement itself in this game had a skill gap. If you don't get it then you play like Jev. BO3 movement was genuinely peak.

Looking back this is top 3 multi-player for me. The amount of content was great, things just worked. No cod since then I recall had all the stuff this had.
Yea nothing that came after had this much content hell even the games before although a lot of them were great didn’t have this much content. This just had so much the main 3 modes plus stuff like dead ops arcade and free run. This had the most zombies ever too it ended up having 14 maps in total
As I was a pre teen during black ops 3 prime. This was my favorite call of duty arcade shooter. Slaps so hard
Man I loved bo3 with a passion. This game was just so much fun. Unfortunately trying to play the game on console is almost impossible. But I'd love to be able to go back and play more

I was deep in my senior year of college when this game came out and already phased out of my multiplayer shooter days but in hindsight I should have given it a try back in the day. People always talk about the fond memories they have of this game.
BO2, Bo3, amd advanced warfare are probably the fondest memories I have of any multiplayer experiece ever.
Bo3 made some of my best gaming memories of all time. Zombies with my buddies was amazing
BO2 was my favorite by a longshot, have the best memories in the MP and zombies. Even the menu music is epic!
3:46 lmao this is so true. In every other cod my kd usually lies around the 2-3 area but in bo3 it was around 4 and I used to be one of the top players on the leaderboard
BO3 was by far the most complete CoD ever. You could have any playstyle in pubs and have fun/perform well, Zombies was awesome, it had a good ranked mode and comp was also great at the time. Plus you had a lot to grind for in terms of camos and specialist outfits. The only thing you could argue for was that the supply drops were not that good and some people didnt like the movement
MSMC, M8A7, VMP, and M16 were all guns that I loved playing with in bo3 search and destroy. Zero skill based matchmaking and probably my 2nd favorite COD

I didn't play BO1 and I only got to do some BO2 after 1 year passed upon it's release but playing BO3 from start to finish (Campaign, Multiplayer & Zombies) *was the best thing I ever loved about this game.*
I loved the escort the robot mode as well as all the weapons & the operators too 😂❤

bo3 my favorite cod and first and only game i unlocked mastery camo on. most annoying challenge for me was bloodthirstys with the knife. i basically camped at the bottom level of skyjacked and waited for people to run by. i also loved the operators. the hives, the tempest, the ripper all so fun to use

This game makes me emotional yeah it might sound cringe but this is where it all started for me I got my first personal console I met some of my best friends and I’ve spent some of the best hours of my teen years playing bo3 meeting new people making enemies it was great I’ll never forget how this game made me feel it was truly an amazing time to be alive and I’m grateful for this games time

Vanguard was fun because of how fast pace also the thing that helped that out(also the best sledgehammer decision) was the chose your pace you wanted and how many people you wanted in a match

Answer to your question about the time required to unlock dark matter in Bo3: The time it takes extremely varies due to the launcher camo challenges requiring destroying specific scorestreaks. It could be 100 games before you see someone use a power core or it could be a 1000. If you’re lucky with the launchers though it probably won’t take you more than two weeks.
bo3 was the first cod i ever got to play online multiplayer in and the first game i ever genuinely got good at. this is probably my favorite cod that ive ever played and really wish that they remaster this game at some point. some updated sens for controller and i think this game would be the most fun cod has seen in years, imo bo3 was way before its time

this game was good because of the time and it was well made whether you enjoyed it or not it was a very complete game. seems that treyarch is proving that they are the best at putting out a complete game.

The zombies in this game made up for it, I know the multiplayer is good but it is just that. The Multiplayer is still worse than Black ops 1, Black Ops 2, Modern Warfare(original), Modern Warfare 2(original) and Modern Warfare 3. The zombies was the best zombies ever though.
I would do an entire year of MWII, even with Multiplayer only. Nothing could make me go back to Vanguard willingly.
I’d like to have another go at the Exo movement from AW, the skill gap really made it fun in pubs to drop 70-80 with a Obsidian Steed or SpeakEasy

A lot of the "stiff" feeling is related to the FOV. You probably play on 100-120 FOV on MWII yet Bo3 is on 75 FOV.
EXACTLY, that's why plutonium is great and why I play with my horizonal and vertical speeds at insane levels and dropping my sensitivity lower to control gun play. Fast as hell on the move and in control when aiming down sites. The second I kill one enemy and release my ads to move to the next enemy, because my movent speeds are insane, it acts like a super fast aim assist the second I hit that ads trigger again because it slows down my aim on it's own right on target. Realistically I just have to spam the ads trigger while continually holding down my right trigger, firing my weapon and I can string together 6 headshots in the blink of an eye if we are playing objectives and the enemy team has the hill.
The one thing Vanguard has over mw2 is the fact that Vanguard is actually fun everytime i play the game its fun to play meanwhile mw2 feels depressing

Black Ops 3 and 4.. the last two Call of Duty's which had incredible color palattes and graphics. No Call of Duty released since has even came close, no surprise.

i love this version of nuke town with the movement , you could walk ride around the whole map without having to touch the ground
You can get dark matter in 2-3 weeks if you play as efficient as possible. I also reccomend getting hero gear for the characters.
gotta play some modded maps on custom zombies. a few i can recommend is Nightmare or the Fall Guys map, both are really well done with endings and easter eggs
