Remind me of my childhood , my grandmother had a restaurant in Kingston and she used to make on Friday night, she call pickle salt fish same thing now but it call Escovitch, and that would be gone in no time . The only different is my grandmother because of the restaurant the vegetable was very crunchy because you know she had to put it in the showcase so she wanted that vibrant colour from the vegetable . Nice job Miss Val ❤

I always soak the salt fish two/three hours in cold tap water. Drain and rinse. Drain again in a sieve, always soak & rinse in cold tap water. I want just like you Val, to retain the salt fish flavour.
These are ingredient I always have at hand at home so I will give it a go in a few days time 👌🌹

No don't boil your salt fish just soak it and change the water.

To fried salt fish, you have to cut it up before soaking or boiling and you keep the bone in
