These are amazing!
Could work as cute soap shapes too!
+Katrina Dutton You must be in my brain! I was thinking the same thing!
for a smoother topping use a whisk or beater. it helps allot with the clumps and airates its more for a fluffier look
+Tamara Kirby Thanks for the tip Tamara! I just picked up a whisk at the dollar store yesterday because of your comment.
+CraftKlatch nice! yeah I noticed in allot of other videos they whisk it lightly it helps temper it and it looks more like like whipped cream or frosting. plan on doing cupcake and coffee candles myself so did allot of vid watching on whipping wax. lol works really well with melt and pour soaps as well
+Tamara Kirby I actually home some soap ideas planned, so it's appreciated!
+CraftKlatch I am excited to see!I love watching your videos. like the wizard of oz coasters. I'm going to make some for my mom's birthday and a gone with the wind set!

So, i have to ask, I figured out the sprinkles & adorable gingerbread additions but, did u make the other sprinkles, i.e., blue/white snowflakes &/or tiny daisy sprinkles??? If so, HOW? The snowflakes look like they have lustre dust brushed on.....anywho BRAVO! I wanna give it a try Miss Mona!! luv ya, lynda a. xo
+nytflyt7 Give it a try Lynda! They are just candy sprinkles. I burned one to make sure nothing weird happened and it was all good!!
Will do
Awesome idea and looks easy enough. :) I love making candles and I would love to do those fancy carved candles but not sure I could. :) I have tried a few times practicing it with polymer clay that I firmed up in the freezer for a while so maybe one day... :D
- Heidi
+BlackCat2 I think a carved candle would be quite a challenge, but I believe in you Heidi!
CraftKlatch Well as with anything I keep trying from time to time. I have the clay carving tools - not all of them but some - enough to start with. At the very least I could make a clay LED candle holder that is carved kind of like the real candles. :D
those are to cute
+michelle middleton Thanks Michelle!
Very cute TFS.👍
+Bubblybows Bows Thank you!
It is a cute idea, but what happens to the "frosting" as it melts? A decorative plate underneath would be a must to catch the melting wax.
+HKreations I Yup. Just as you would a pillar candle, eventually the wax starts running down the side.
Fantastic thanks for sharing. Could one use silicon mould as well?
+Melvin Smith Thanks Melvin. The cupcake mold were actually silicone.
Cool. Thanks. I am looking forward to lots of crafty I ideas.wink wink.
Cute
Thanks Erika!
Hey Mona! I was wondering if you could help me out with a resin problem. I make a photo keychain for a coworker. while the last layer of resin was curing a fuzz of some kind got stuck in it. If i file it and add another layer of resin, will that work or will it be all scratchy looking?
I work in resin too and I can say, yes. As long as you clean any resin dust away after sanding, the new pour should fill the gaps and leave it clear.
+Danielle Arangio Practical Lessons is right. Sand it down. Finish with a finer grit sand paper and put a layer of resin over it. It will be fine! This video might help: Thank you! You have to go to the website to enter. The link is in the video description.
+CraftKlatch thanks guys!
cute
+Mama Luz blogs Thank you!

make a Christmas tree coasters if you didn't already plz
+Emily Richards Okay. You have to add coaster ideas to the most recent coaster video and then I'd be happy to include it!

+Soraya Aguilar They just come to me.
