It's so sad Karube couldn't even look at Arisu at the end because he would get the wolf, so he just kept looking elsewhere as he talked to him.
I wish they included Shibuki's flashback from the manga, so people can understand why she's willing to do anything to survive. Her first game was a hearts game and she was the only survivor.
Oh wow i didnt know this .. thats totally make sense now
wow so its just like arisu living for his friends. damn
her character, intentions and backstories were totally changed in Live Action, what a shame
I see but hearts can be won by multiple players but diamond except one game are mostly for solo winners. Take 6 from manga only or the others we see here but 1. Yeah her game was a gas train and test of their psychology and willingness to risk.
@@and-i-oop would you like to know her game?
you can tell bro understands the real purpose of the game he just doesn't know how to explain it
Von probably in the whole series: “idk, too much is going on”
Karube is a real one. He gives tough love to Arisu to motivate him to think because it works.
It's a sacrifice game, you choose who going to stay alive, and they choose arizu. It's s game for goodfriends
That's how you might solve it, yes. It's not the design of the game though, that would require the only people to show up to be friends. Which isn't the case.
@@VolrinSeth *MASSIVE SPOILER* Mira made this game specifically for them so yes... the game requires the players to be good friends or else it wouldn't work.
@starrykoo Except they weren't all friends
But the majority of them were. If Shibuki wasn’t there to start it off on the note she did, they may have all talked it out and figured out how to get past it. The purpose of a hearts game is all psychological. Three best friends and a spoiler to cause chaos. It was designed that way. If just Chota and Shibuki had gone into the game, this one wouldn’t have popped up for them. It was a hearts game because it was this group specifically
@Jellyroll2 Again, that does not work as the games are open to anyone. You cant be sure their group would be the only one to show up.
24:25 - 26:12
The others died because they didn’t make eye contact with the wolf. In the beginning it says that the wolf must hide, because everyone else (the sheep) will be going after them. They’d either kill the wolf in hopes that the rest all survive for taking them out, or they will force the wolf to make eye contact with them so that they will be the sole survivor at the end of the game. Eventually, the sheep will realize that if they win, it will be at the suspense of someone close to them and they will have survivors guilt. This is where the heart manipulation really comes into play, because then the game instructions tell the sheep to hide while the wolf “hunts” for them. Which in reality, is just someone trying to help their teammates by sacrificing themself. Arisu literally has the upper hand, he was the wolf, already hidden, and there was little time left. He was able to find Karube in the end, but because Karube wanted Arisu to live, he didn’t look him in the eyes. That is why he was looking off into the distance. It wasn’t Arisu looking at Karube that caused him to die, it was him not looking at Arisu.
That's where you're wrong tho, cause the instructions say that the sheep should hide from the wolf. Which is why it would seem like the game is flawed because if the survivor was always going to be the wolf then why would the instructions not tell the wolf to hide, right? But remember, this is a hearts game that's centered around feelings, betrayal, and playing with the hearts of its players. The main point of the game is that the sheep would need to hide from the wolf (like what they did at the end) to make sure that (Arisu) can't pass on the wolf status to them, to ensure that their friend survives. Which makes sense because that's the main point of hearts games they make you not wanna live after winning. (Chishiya's an exception tho cause he's so nonchalant)
@ You’re right, I may have misread the original game rules. It’s been so long since I’ve read the manga as well. The sheep were told to hide, but because of their own selfishness at the start, the wolf would hide instead. I do not blame any of them, I honestly feel like it’s natural to want to survive. However, after realizing that you living will unintentionally lead to other people dying, that is when the roles are switched. It’s sad that Arisu couldn’t save them, if I recall correctly, there was a way for all of them to survive. I still don’t know how for sure besides the reflection theory that some AIB watchers have heard of or just risking it by cutting the collar. I’m not too sure if it would have worked, but I have a feeling that the ID code given at 14:46 May have had something to do with it. The thing about each of these games is that none of them can be made where it’s impossible for no one to live in the end, and there can be multiple people who live even when they go against each other(sometimes.) All but one died in the King of Diamonds game, but had the King himself died before the other players, they technically would’ve won and no one else had to die.
There is definitely a case where no one can survive, because from the very beginning this game has always guaranteed that a person will win. If players always win no matter what, it would be unfair for the dealers since they will always be dead when observing 7 of Hearts game. Here is how there's a chance no one can survive:
If you use brutal way to force the wolf open their eyes, you might kill the wolf, which destroy your own chance of surviving. If before, only 1 in 4 people lived, then at that time, no one would survive, because the wolf was dead. And the only last collar that didn't explode was the one on the dead wolf. In addition, betraying your own friends will only make your friends realize that you are not worthy of their sacrifice if they change their mind, and will pass the role of wolf to someone more worthy. And together they will protect that wolf-person from you.
And if you are the physically weakest one, then you have little chance to maintain yourself as the wolf until the very end, and might get urself killed by somebody bc they want to kill you for their survival, or they want to kill you just bc they realize how bad you actually are and suicide together with you.
Also, I haven't even mentioned the hypothesis that if the 7 of Hearts has a no-death solution, then it would be even more stupid if you tried to betray someone when the way to win is so easy.
If you are confident that you can betray your friends, good luck if the rules allow people with close relationships to participate but not necessarily friends. It would be a disaster if you had to join with your parents, siblings or partner and that would be a moral dilemma.
If you want a gentle and fair solution, learn K Clubs with rock-paper-scissors method to choose who will sacrifice.
This comment made me shed a tear...
@@linh.theexplorer My wording may have been off. What I'm trying to say is that all the games created are possible for at least one or more people to survive. There may be some instances where no one does, perhaps because the group didn't have a good game strategy or weren't thinking strategically, but it doesn't mean that the game is unbeatable. And some games, such as the King of Diamonds, could have had more than one survivor had they played their cards right and quickly taken out the head of the game. We also see this in games like Jack of Hearts and 10 of hearts. Those are games that we look at and can agree that if the players were thinking right, more than one or a few would have lived. That could have also been discouraging too, when Shibuki says that she played a hearts game before and she was the only one to make it out. That may have been true for her case, but I don't think that means that it had to be that way. And if no one had survived her game, I don't think that means that the game is automatically going to have the same outcome for other players who join later, they simply weren't the ones for it.
Think of the AIB games like playing a game of cards with your friends. It's not guaranteed that they'll win against you just because they played the game, but it doesn't mean that it's impossible for them to do so. And even if they do lose that round against you, it doesn't mean that the next person or people who play you will not be able to win either.
Respect for the "a moment of silence" 😢
i knew it was coming and i’m happy to know i wasn’t the only one in denial up until 🤯. i 100% thought there was a way they would all live…
Loving this duo. I was just as dumbfounded and lost for words as y’all by the end.
love watching y’all’s reactions!!
THIS EPISODE KILLED ME 🥲
I like how this couple have opposite reactions in this series ha ha ha. Soo funny and cute.
Carianna and Von's reaction at THE scene, the CONFUSION and DISBELIEF, was all of us "there has got to be a loophole", "this cannot be" ... I went through all of that again. They are in for a RIIIIIIIDE.
I'm Japanese. Watching from Tokyo, Japan. Description of this EP3 ♥️7 game.
The wolf runs away to avoid being caught by the sheep.
The sheep hide and aim at the wolves.
The first reason to choose a weapon is to attack the wolves.
The game of hearts is psychological warfare. In the end, the sheep hide to save the wolf.
This is one of the episodes that broke my heart into pieces
in the manga.. more sad.. arisu was running around in the garden.. he only hear his friend's voice.. searching while running.. the time out.. he running while crying hearing his friend exploded..
26:06 had me laughing idk why
"Where'd he get that cigarette from" LMAOOO
But nahh good reaction this episode had me sooo sad
I can only imagine watching Train to Busan after watching this. I would be annoyed too. This episode hit the hardest because you want to protect your friends and this one teachers you that everyone isn’t going to make it

The rules said "the collars will explode", not the players. So there is indeed a way to clear this game with no death, but you have to trust and work together.
I love how they invested so much on the character of Chota, Shibuki and Karube . The Show is getting started, Brace yourselves because one of the Greatest arcs in the Manga History is coming ( The Beach Arc ) and fun fact : you will see the Brain of this show in Episode 6 he's on a cameo on his own masterpiece
yeah no one sees the ending coming 😭
Love your reaction. Brotherhood for life. You make a good point, what if Karube, Chota and Shibuki stay hidden, are they'll gonna win and live or what? I guess it'll remain a mystery.
it's because karube didn't look at him. you have to look at each other, both of you.
And then what?
@Mintaehyung-i6r and then the person who wasn't the wolf becomes the wolf.
It's Not A K Drama It's JAPANESE SERIES

Well.... the way the rules were laid out, it SEEMED like it's about betrayal- but it's about sacrifice... so they kept showing the "HIDE WELL, LAMBS" screen towards the end bec. it was supposed to tell us that, "huh, so they kept hiding because they WANT Arisu to live and they were okay not being the one.." W BROS. RIP Karube & Chota
White haired hottie is the Cheshire cat.
Could you please just give us the 8X3 from game of thrones
This episode is pure trauma 😭❤️🩹
they had 2 options, first to kill the wolf and the lambs will survive and that's why Arisu is calling out for them. the second option is the wolf will survive but the lambs will die.

Please react to this movie:
1.) The Raid (2011)
2.) The Raid 2: Berandal (2014)
It's a recommended movie to watch. You will love the movie, for sure. Can't wait to see your reaction to this series. Thank you.
no loopholes; the rule of the game is that the wolf is the ONLY ONE who'll survive, that's why they have to hide and not make eye contact with the wolf :) that's why karube still didn't make eye contact with him so Arisu (Alice) would stay the wolf and survive
*comforts*
Yeah you never play a heert game with someone that you know... Because usually it can mean a Battle Royale with that person or mentally exhausting have you play with someone that you know so always play someone that you don't know because it won't get you as hard
Meant to say a hearts game
@@luisponce5023you don't have a choice to play it with your friends or not since you don't know the game until you've already joined
@@luisponce5023mostly hearts can be won with no casualties... 2 of hearts Shibuki game could have been won by all.

10 of hearts again. 9 of hearts in side story manga again doable with no casualties. Q was just one casualty that had to happen. Jack was hard but I think you could limit the casualties at least.
But now take diamond. Exception is 4 but others are winnable by one only. 6 in manga, 10 in montage or king and jack. All have only one winner...
No, the Hearts games are designed specifically for people who are close or have some conflict in the group. For example, initially 10 of Hearts is supposed to be 5 of Hearts, but since The Hatter was killed and the political situation of the beach has reached a boiling point, Mira has changed the difficulty of the game to 10 of Hearts. In manga, the reason why Arisu's group find the venue of the game is because that is the only venue they can find till the last minute, so it is highly that the game is designed for Arisu's group. Moreover, you can't know the type of the numbered card game until you enter it.
And there is no need not to bring friends when entering a Heart game. Bringing a friend can mostly be an advantage, especially in 10 of Hearts, J of Hearts and Q of Hearts.
And Hearts game is not actually only about lying, manipulating and fighting on ur own. It just simply tests you in the field of psychology, mostly requiring EQ to survive. The heart games are meant to reveal what's in your heart. Your true nature. What is truly being tested is not whether you'd betray others, but whether you'd betray yourself. It is about putting trust in your right partner, empathy, reading mind, avoiding having our ugly souls laid bare and ending up in a killing match, managing your emotions, not letting your heart tremble when facing your hanging life being threatened, the ability to persuade people, thinking rationally and not let our mind be out of control, and winning yourself… Hearts game can be solved by not necessarily using brutal ways, lies or killing people, but using empathy, trust, collaboration and a little knowledge in the field psy. Most Hearts games make players think incoherently and abandon their morals and betray their ideals, making them kill each other and eventually kill themselves. Normally the rule of the game is quite simple, the ones who make it hard are the players.
You don't have to be pure evil, having no emotion or sympathy to be good in Hearts game (Also, if you dont have a heart and have no emotions, how can you win Hearts ♥ - which highly requires empathy?). And you don't have to be pure angelic, good and kind to be good in Clubs game. Good or bad, right or wrong is subjective. Your personality is decided by yourself, not the suit that you excel in. Arisu didn't even afraid of bringing Usagi because he will willingly sacrifice himself for her in Q of Hearts. The message of AiB is that you should live your life, not you should just exist or survive.

Ngl, this messed me up too.
The point of the game, the team had to pick who will survive. The 2nd game showed you, why you shouldn't play with your friends. This 3rd game is the consequence of not catching that.

@@linh.theexplorer I define agree, you can win hearts game without killing anyone, but do people logical stop and think how can we beat this without killing. No. Thats why I say don’t play with your friends. You don’t know the number or type of game. You don’t know if your friends will betray you or not cause it’s a death game at the end of the day. You don’t want to die and we have to remember human instinct has two paths fight or flight. You can’t run so you have to fight but it doesn’t necessarily mean fight for your friend.
