There is no hostility against her. It only comes from her parents and relatives. Im sure more than %90 of country is admiring her. But German-Dw have enmity against us for some reason.
She is very strong and inspiring. This is a very interesting and insightful video, thank you for creating a content on this. i hope the best for the lady and her daughter.
The traditions mentioned in the video are Kurdish traditions. They have nothing to do with Turkish ones, as they are basically the same as what you find in Europe.

Excellent documentary but the thing about women not getting divorced is false. This woman is a Kurdish woman, and yes they live more by these traditions. But any Turkish woman can get divorced and re-marry or not re-marry and take care of the children as easily and as normally as in any European country. You shouldn't confuse Turkish culture with Kurdish culture in this country. They are 9 siblings you say, the average Turkish family is 3.8 individuals, much much lower than the Kurdish families.
This job must be amazing, one is outside and relatively free, while behind the glass people are facing the daily corporate nonsense, favouritism, bullying etc.

I’ve done this job for about ten years. To secure your equipment is just as important as securing yourself before you even get close to the edge. Idiots.
Getting women to participate in the workforce is a very good idea, as it puts downward pressure on wages and reduces birthrates. Someone at DW knows this.
I don't understand why they don't rope their tools. What a pain in the ass if you drop your wiper and then have to go all the way down to get it or get a replacement, if it didn't kill someone.
Why did you do this video ? Why do you make sexual discrimination ? All woman can do that, like every other men. That's normal, that's not a good news, that's what must be.
Because DW loves to portray Turkey as a country where women are repressed and that somehow it's interesting that a woman can climb on buildings there. They should learn that Turkey is not Syria or Afghanistan, but somehow this fits their agenda better.
