- Nick Cannon revealed on his daytime talk show on Tuesday that his 5-month-old son, Zen, died of brain cancer. In tears, Cannon opened up to his viewers about his final moments with his son.

@@colat1265 Honestly some people are in a state of shock especially if it happened suddenly because your not completely prepared. To process this is extremely difficult. Grieving for some ppl looks different some internalize it, others may be more open. For my husband he went back to work after a week. He needed to stay busy. He is more of a internal person where as I expressed it externally. I For my daughters service which was 5 days later. I did put makeup on & I talked at her service. I did cry. I cried a lot. I But after that I didn’t wear makeup for a whole year. I’m a makeup artist. It’s my passion but I haven’t been able to apply makeup or educate for 3 years until now & it’s been 4 years. Adjusting my life without my child is still hard on some days. Some days are better than others. But I have strong faith. I know where she’s at and it may not be fair to us parents that have to go through this but it’s part of our lives. Especially if we have older children we have to be strong for them and keep life moving. We also have to deal with their grief too. I realized that even though my life feels like it’s still, the rest of the world will continue. I’m sure Nicks family has already started therapy for this heart ache. Regardless its extremely painful, their is no right or wrong way of grieving.

He was his dad so perhaps the mother wouldn’t have been able to do what nick did because we carry our children fir 9 months and normally spend more time with Ute kids then the das dies so maybe he felt like working helped him see the pain also but you shouldn’t judge him and his reactions in this situation. Everyone deals with tragedy differently.
I met a man once, he was 101 years old and he was very heartbroken because he had just lost his son who was 80. I don’t have children of my own but I see it’s a parent’s greatest pain to bury their child.

That is so true, I have just one kid I can't even fathom the hurt and pain of losing a child, but I do empathize with one's who have lost their children to death. I use to work at the cemetery and burying a child period is hard, it was hard for me just seeing the parent go through that I know I wasn't suppose to cry and I was suppose to be strong for the families but honestly it just moved me to tears so I cried with them because just seeing that pain on their faces it just hurts me.

Judge asks him what’s going on he says judge I’m a law obiding citizen just don’t have a lot of money. My boy I have to take for his cancer treatments every week I need my car. The judge is like well I’m not taking your car for one ticket just need to know how I can help you resolve it. Judge is like how old are you he says 96 his baby boy 66. The judge is like and you are still taking care of him isn’t that something. You are a good man and father Mr so and so you are dismissed I wish you and your boy well. I believe the love of his life passed away few years before. These are the kind of parents children need I’m that kind of parent.

I lost my mom to a sudden, aggressive, and rare form of brain cancer and it’s still unbelievably painful to this day, ten years later.
I can not imagine this being my infant child. My heart breaks for him and his family.

Never ever, to all you parents out there, never take for granted one second you have with your children. Try to enjoy all the time you have with them, because obviously, life is precious, and it's something none of us know how long we or our kids will be around. So, what's important is that everyday you let you kids know you love them no matter how old they are, and hug them and kiss them. So, I'd encourage nick cannon to go home and hug and kiss and cry with his wife and kids. Take some time off acting and just be a dad to your kids, spend as much time with them as you can, and comfort your wife. One thing that I'm sure he wishes understandably is that he can just have some privacy and be alone for awhile wish his family and not have to talk about this with tabloid people or interviewers.

The pain of loosing a child is unimaginable. Lost my only child who was 20years old after 39 days in a coma and still cannot cannot imagine a life without him. Screaming inside and fear if I ever let it out I will slip into insanity.

He would of been 14 years old and I can only imagine all the wonderful things that lil trooper would of been doing. My God, I know how he feels. My son was born with a tumor on his brain that caused fluid around the brain. My son lived for a few hours and then passed. This is a devastating feeling. It's a blessing that they had the opportunity to be with their son for 5 months. Little Angel went home with God. Praying for their family.

It can really help to discuss things like this, so he doesn't have to feel like he is faking it as he goes through this mournful journey. He also had so much damaging press in the last few months, and this switches gears completely.

Ugh... My heart is just absolutely breaking for them right now. We see Nick as the funny guy. From Wild n Out, to the comic relief on AGT. Sometimes we forget the funniest, happiest people have so so much more going on in their lives than we could possibly know.
