The TV host made the announcement on "The Nick Cannon Show" speaking candidly about his son's last moments and spending time with his family. Zen was Cannon’s seventh and youngest child, born June 2021 with Alyssa Scott.

I will never forget the feeling of holding my newborn son in my arms. As he got colder so did I. It's a pain I can never forget. A scar that will never be removed. It is not easy recovering from something like this but time does heal. I pray for you Nick and your family. This is not easy and not fair. Life is very questionable. Much love.

I grew up with Nick on All That, and to relate to him this far into life, and to be able to empathize with him as a father myself is very special. He went through so much pain but he took it like he was and adult in a child's body.
