Children's hospital is amazing. me and my wife spent some time there and the nurses and doctors went above and beyond to make sure that all of us were doing well.
that is why i love jimmy kimmel
Dear Jimmy, my son Joshua died 23 years ago from the same birth defect. Back then it was an almost certain death sentence.
Long story short, after he died we donated his heart for medical research. Seeing and hearing your story, I'm sure we made the right decision. God bless you and your family. 🙏🏽
raye8405 I'm sorry that happened to you and I thank you for making the hard and selfless choice to turn your tragedy into hope for thousands of potential future children.
sorry for your loss, thank you for your generous donation
raye8405 bless you and your family.
I'm sorry you lost your son but thank you for thinking of others in your time of tragedy. You're wonderful ❤

He called them all out BY NAME. You can tell how much this meant to him.
Wow no replies and 2k likes

He wanted them ALL to get recognition for the amazing care they provided
You are surprised of how much a father is grateful to the people that saved his son life? I hate people writing obvious things for upvotes
I'm sure the fake audience agrees
my heart breaks over and over everytime his voice cracks but then he makes a joke and I laugh with tears rolling down my face
Me too
Isn't it such a gift being able to deliver a misfortune this way? I'm here in 2020 laughing and crying....
I pray William is doing even more amazing❤
@JT na you can actually die from a broken heart. That's why lots of elderly couples die so close to eachother
@JT shes right broken heart syndrome is a real thing basically the lower part of the heart swelles like a balloon
I want You to know you good? Everything okay at home?
"No parent should ever have to decide if they're going to afford to save their child's life. It just shouldn't happen."
TRUTH.
Marc Daryl Mateo they don't. ER's are required by law to give people in need care, citizen or not, rich or poor. if Kimmel was an illegal Mexican with $0, his son would still have had surgery. The issue occurs if someone has lifelong problems that ARENT life or death, or are extremely hard to get like transplant surgery.
Marc Daryl Mateo good thing the cash is on tap for all of these people on our screens
Marc Daryl Mateo It baffles me this is still a thing in America. Here in Europe too many people take our healthcare for granted.
3.14159265359 The badness of American healthcare is grossly exaggerated. It really isn't all too bad. College kids who are majoring in women's studies think there is a bigger problem here with it than it is.
I believe you're mistaken. Hospitals are only required to give critical life saving treatment. No hospital or doctor is required to give ongoing care to a chronically ill patient, like Jimmy's son. Heart disease is a chronic illness.
We are still one of the richest nations on earth and we shouldn't have to worry if our kids can get a free lunch at school, get life saving surgery or get the education we need. Especially when the president is blowing money left and right on golf and his wife and son's Secret Service protection because they don't want to live in the White House.
He's already spent more money on golfing trips than the government was spending on Meals on Wheels. He had no problem cutting the funds to that.
It's very hard to see so many in need.
"No parent should have to decide if they can affort to save their child's life."
I agree with you Jimmy.
Well, we just save their life and then we spend whatever YEARS it takes to pay the bills. It isn't even an option. You just do the right thing and then deal with the consequences later. It's just the only option really. Happy for Jimmy it all worked out. What a horrific thing to go through right after having the best moment of your life with having a son to the absolute worst moment having to wonder if you'll lose your baby. It's pretty special seeing Jimmy have a real human moment and share that with millions.
@I Speak Facts Yes I don't disagree.
Except for all other free nations, you may have to afford to save your child's life.
If that line and the look on his face didn't get to you, I'm pretty sure you don't have a soul
As a british person who never has to worry about medical bills (except dentists and prescriptions) it baffles me as to why such a developed country like the USA hasn't got a National Health Service.
"Poor kid, not only did he get a bad heart but my face"

I think Jimmy Kimmel is actually pleasant-looking, even if in a weird sort of way that goes well with his self-deprecating humour. This was heartbreaking to watch, I wish his family and anyone struggling with a similar disease the best.
I was pregnant the same time molly was, I had my son in October of 2017. He was born with a blockage in his intestines that required surgery right after birth. It’s called duodenal atresia. My baby was in the nicu for 2 months. The worst and most emotional time in my life, but now he is a healthy toddler.
Happy endings.

Always great to read a story with a happy ending.

When Billy grows up this can be the video he sees everytime he's upset. He can see his fathers love for him so clearly.
Yep hearing his father in distress talking about one of the most traumatic experiences of his life, sounds like a real pick me up
Well said.
Billy may not grow up at all, Tetralogy of Fallot is pretty bad condition to have and even if repaired there will be life long consequences. But heres to hope!!!!
J.A.M James I hope u have someone with same conditions

I haven't seen this in years, but it made me cry then and it made my cry again. Jimmy is right about everyone having medical care. The US spends so much on military and space and yet will not give healthcare to their own people.
We only spend 25B on Space.
Cut military spending and put them into healthcare, science, and education. Right now we're literally just a country of idiots waving guns.
I'm Italian and can guarantee how GREAT free medical healthcare is. Everybody needs and MUST be cured, no matter what. I love the US and my dream is to live there at least for a while but under this point of view, I seriously cannot agree with the American system. Lot of respect but can't agree on this point. I truly hope things will change soon
Celeste Massarenti hows italy now? r the hospitals still filled up with covid patients
@@jake5200 unfortunately yes but at the same time the situation has improved since less people need intensive therapy. tomorrow some stores will open and I'm afraid there will be many contagions again within next week... It's too early to open certain kinds of stores, which are not even of primary importance...
He is mentioning the nurses names!!! That's amazing.
Erm what? It's amazing is it? Why? It's standard really. Why do people have to make out celebrities are superhuman and make out normal/everyday actions they do are somehow magical and monstrously praised? He doesn't and didn't do anything special at all, anyone would thank the hospital team of where their child was cared for. If he didnt/if a NORMAL person didn't aknolledge their staff that saved their child's life, that is the anomaly, not the fact that he did thank them

Hence medicare for all. Lets get real, health care is a right.
dancergrl918 Ditto, bless his son and all of the vulnerable children.
dancergrl918 People need to get educated about healthcare. My parents lost everything trying to save my sister. I say this because I'm thankful there are people in the spotlight shedding knowledge on it. everything happens for a reason Jim
he rich money not a issue
Who is going to pay for it? It's real easy to say no parent should have to decide etc. etc. These things come with a cost, that's reality.
Dr. Starnes save my father’s life twice. He had an aortic aneurysm and then again 10 years later had another aortic aneurysm. He also did surgery on Arnold Schwarzenegger. We are so grateful he we got him because we are normal people and he is a surgeon rockstar!
I’m not sure I understand the point you’re trying to make. I haven’t watched this video for a while and don’t remember anything about Obama care. Can you explain please?
@@redreaper2752 right he’s not saying that he was saved by obamacare but that people less fortunate should be protected like he was (by his money lol)
@Gerald What exactly is there to debunk? He NEVER said that he didn't have private healthcare. Of course he has his own healthcare because he can afford it. Not everyone can, and that's exactly what he said. Some people aren't as selfish as people like you that only care about looking out for themselves. You and Shapiro can GTFOH
I love how Jimmy acknowledges the nurses and doctors that helped Billy out, and how he uses his platform to call attention to important issues in the US health care
I know Jimmy is a talk show host doesn’t mean he has to put his personal business out there. Sometimes you have to keep things to yourself. Like what if in the future Billy didn’t want people to know about his health!

when Guillermo cries, we all cry
Mr. HandsomeCoffeeCup That's the part that really broke me. I saw Kimmel cry when uncle Frank died, I saw him cry about how shitty humanity is when Cecile The Lion died, I saw him cry when Don Rickles died, and I cried with him, but when I saw Guillermo crying, I broke.
"Guillermo" is Spanish for "William." Jimmy may have named his new son after Guillermo.
Held it together until they pan to Guillermo tearing up.
he cried when david letterman retired too.
when did that happen

eh not so much of the genuine. it's tv afterall
Are you So you think he was acting there? Seemed pretty genuine to me and I have an excellent bs detector. Whether it was TV or not he was taking a moment to talk about what happened... I don't believe the emotion in his voice was faked at all.
what an arsehole saying it's not genuine

You can hear in his voice its genuine. Also his eyes are actually red and tearing unlike almost every other instance of poeple crying on tv.
My son was born with the same heart defect. Always makes it seem so real seeing other parents grief and pain.
I understand Jimmy Kimmel is remarried but he has kids that all grown up. At his age he should be a grandfather! He can’t be raising little kids in his 50s at that age he should be a grandfather!

I am an ICU nurse, this means a lot to us. Thank you for acknowledging those people.
As an ICU nurse, you should stop giving medical care to stupid people:
to breeders (though I agree: their children should get care - not their fault they were forced into this world against their will) to religionists, to republican voters, to democrat voters.
There is no scientific proof that anti-science anti-math anti-logic people "suffer" from massive blood loss or oxygen not getting to their cells. Flatearthers, antivaxxars, moonlanding deniers, Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW) denies, christians, muslims, Wall Street defenders, LOVE having their kidneys or livers or hearts fail.
Or getting blood clots in their legs or brains. This is just atoms moving around in different directions for them.

Well yeah, most parents care the same way. It's not a weird thing is it
This totally change how i feel about Jimmy.. He is so kind and have beautiful heart.
As a retired Registered Nurse I can say how much it meant to the nurses and rest of the staff to get a public thank you for their knowledge and dedication. Nursing can be a thankless job, so thanks Jimmy. God bless Billy and the rest of your family. 😀
Rania said it perfectly. Nurses are held to a very high standard for good purpose. They know their duties & it's up to them to perform those duties when asked upon.
I recently had a life threatening bowel bleed and I appreciate all the help of the whole staff! Sent a sparkly card, hope they got it.
Doctors and nurses do not get the recognition they deserve. When I had to have a major surgery and was in the hospital for a week, I sent flowers and some chocolates to the nurses who took care of me all day and night. My day nurse and night nurse and my surgeon. These people spend hours and hours on their feet helping people. A thank you is the least we can do.

There's another person in the top comments that had a child with this defect and he unfortunately passed away, and she donated his heart to medical research. That was about 25 years ago. You may be alive today due to that person's impossible and selfless act in most likely the hardest time in their life. I'm glad you were able to overcome this difficulty and I hope you continue to do well! Their name is @raye8405
It's so sweet how Guillermo had tears in his eyes when Jimmy was talking about his son. 😥
We need more people like Guillermo in Mexico
Guillermo a real nigga and a true friend
was really touching
joel David when was Guillermo crying
Guillermo is a true friend and security guard :'(
jimmy has me crying and laughing at the same time for 13 minutes straight
I like Jimmy but at his age he should be grandfather. He has kids that all grown up. I understand that he’s remarried and his wife probably wanted kids but Jimmy is in his 50s soon he has to retire. He can’t be raising little kids at that age.
revisting this video after almost 3 years and it still choked me up as much as it did when i saw it the day this video came out. happy birthday billy.!
My youngest daughter was a NICU baby and grew up to be a beautiful young woman who was an Elementary School Music teacher. She was killed by a drunk driver this past August and her heart was not viable for donation, but she was able to donate her heart valves for babies and children. She continues to give even now. Hugs.
Betsy Rosam, M.S. I'm so sorry for your loss. A survivor, a teacher, and a giver. She sounds like she was an amazing woman. And it takes amazing women to raise people like this. Be proud of yourself and your daughter. Love to you from Oklahoma.
Betsy Rosam, M.S. I'm so sorry for your loss, I'm sure she was an amazing young woman ❤️
Betsy Rosam, M.S. She must've been an amazing woman, I'm so sorry for your loss 🌺
So sorry for you loss Betsy, I hope you find peace in knowing that your daughter was an amazing human being.
I am very sorry about your daughter.
We love you buddy! Best wishes to you and your family!!

I like Jimmy but I don’t think it was a good idea for him to be a new father at age 50. Plus he has kids that all grown up. Jimmy at his age should be a grandfather! He can’t be raising little kids at 50. I understand that Jimmy is remarried and his probably wanted kids of her but I don’t think it was a good idea for him to be a father at a old age. Because he’s not going to be around when his kids are his age.
Watching Jimmy and Guillermo become emotional together is so heartbreaking, and so heartwarming all at the same time. I love their sweet faces! ❤
I like Jimmy Kimmel but I don’t it was good idea for Jimmy to be new father in his 50s because at that age you’re suppose to be a grandfather. And he has kids that all grown up like let them over. I understand that he’s remarried but does he really be raising teenagers young adults in his 60’s and 70’s. And that age I’d want grandchildren.
Man. I wish I could be in that audience that night and just yell “ay jimmy, in two years Billy is gonna be a hilarious, happy, healthy little man”.
Hey Jimmy I'm 16 years old and I was born with the same condition your son Billy has. This video was great and reminded me that I'm not the only one with this condition. I really hope the this video spread awareness to heart conditions. Now after 16 years I'm healthy and I'm still super lazy.
Esa Qadri my daughter was born in 2005 with the same condition...it's refreshing to know she will have a happy normal life
Question, if you don't mind: how does/did the defect affect everyday life? For example, does it affect your ability to play sports or do other activities?
Thank you Jimmy Kimmel for sharing this heartwarming[no pun intended] story. Thank you for telling us it turns out well in the end...it helped me not to cry so much. Thank you for including humor which we all need a dose of...
I'm so glad I have been giving a percentage of my eBay earnings to Children's Hospital for quite a while now...I will continue and encourage more persons than I have, to give to them also.
#JimmyKimmel...your #GRATEFULNESS is #BEAUTIFUL...
I love you Billy and all the children who like you, have survived because #ChilrensHospitalRocks!!!
Yes it can affect you when playing sports or doing any physical activity from personal experience becuse I was born with the same thing it's harder for me to keep up but once I rest after about 30 seconds I can start up again. Hope that answers your question
yes! we are not that many i have the same condition i'm 28 now and healthy ;) (should we start a club jajaja ) had my surgery at 15. I was always lazy but super normal in any other way, im from southamerica great doctors are the REAL heros in any country ! ! !
I was born blue and 6 hours later I was diagnosed with various congenital heart defects. 3 surgeries and almost 29 years later, here I am. Wishing Billy a lifetime of health and happiness!
Blue baby here as well had a transposition of the great arteries. Turning 36 this year. I wish Billy a happy and healthy life, too! Welcome to the zipper club lil guy!
2021 and still this makes me cry 😢 what a great human being Jimmy is. Many blessings to you Billy and your family.
I have never seen Jimmy get so teary and upset. You can really tell how much his family means to him.
It is a rare person who can not only share something so immensely and intensely personal, but at the same time remember to thank those who helped him and his family, educate about Tetralogy of Fallot, inform the public about the threats to adequate funding of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and stand up for the important of ensuring that people are not denied health insurance due to pre-existing conditions, all the while making a Matt Damon wisecrack. As a pediatrician, I'm in awe of how much good he managed to fit into 14 minutes of airtime.
Well done, Mr. Kimmel.
Samuel Blackman - i agree, he's great.
Samuel Blackman 13 minutes
Very true
+1
Very well said, I liked this:)
Great to see someone in Hollywood be so human and vulnerable and honest. Kudos to Jimmy for discussing this and being thoroughly thankful, he has a good heart. Sincerely hope his son lives a long and healthy life.
Gus Tahara-Edmonds how dare you D: now ill go to hell for laughing

Jimmy I'm watching this in 2019, our children are our hearts. They don't beat we don't beat !🇮🇪 All my love! 🇮🇪
Who disliked this video and why?
What fathomable reason could you have to ‘thumb down’ this video?
What awful humans.
Probably saw Ben Shapiro’s reaction
@@lucassanchez3819 Ben Shapiro is a whiny voiced insufferable know-it-all who frequently rubs his wife's profession as a doctor in our faces as a means of saying that he's better than us.
Probably because this guy makes fun of peoples dead dads?
Because even when he’s talking about his son having a deadly heart condition, he still still somehow brings politics into it. Truly incredible.
I like Jimmy but he didn’t have to share this. I understand that he’s remarried and his wife wanted kids. But Jimmy has kids that all grown up. At Jimmy’s age he should be a grandfather! Being a new father at 50 isn’t always a good idea because when the kids grow up the parents may not be around much or not at all!
This is probably one of the best moments, not only on Jimmy Kimmel's show, but in late night talk shows in general.
For the record this is not about whether or not Jimmy and his family can financially afford treatment for his son. This is about everyone who cannot afford the financial burden in this situation. Thank you Jimmy for speaking up for all those who don't have a voice to speak for themselves!
Wick3d Warthog HE WAS COUNTED WORTHY TO SPEAK THE TRUTH. AMEN. HALLELUJAH
Omg, you need help.....
You get me!
Or because they have to pay 200k for some kind of surgery / medication... But your theory makes total sense, I know so many peoples than just want to be poor, who I'm to judge their choice!
German Turrbiartes ypu dont have to be broke to not be able to afford a surgery. lets say your kid has cancer, between hospital stays, chemo, and all the meds and travel you will be so far in debt. you can be middle class and not be able to afford 300000 dollar surgeries. dont be ignorant.

I have the same heart condition and am 17 years old, so I think it's safe to say his son's going to live just as long, hopefully even longer.
god bless you, he's watching over you always. Take care
If you dislike jimmy or like him, This is a father. This isn't the Jimmy Kimmel show host, this is a father who went through an extremely scary time and is gonna have to go through it again in a few months. Much love to Jimmy who can make some comedic comments out of this and can stay strong through this.
Lynx amen
Lynx I agree. I don't see a TV show, or a entertainer, I see a distraught father. I feel so bad for him and his family. I wish the best for them.
Wonder if he'll tell his kid he ate their Halloween candy in a few years
Lynx I would think that anyone who looks at this and reacts with anything other than love and compassion is very hard-hearted indeed.
Best of wishes to you and your family Jimmy, especially Billy
OMG, I lost it completely when Guillermo appeared emotional. That guy is always happy.
gerith it's not like he is a comedian or anything like that.
Me too. Guillermo usually will at least smirk but he understood the gravity of the events and shared his brothers pain.

Two years later this is still heart breaking... 😯 love you Jimmy!
As he wept for his child to not die. Years later he wishes Americans to die. This is sickening how the media is turning out.
Disgusting
Right on Mr steel. Truth.

I was moved by every bit of this monologue, but Guillermo's tears particularly made me heartbroken.
It was nice until he brought politics into it...
D Mos No. It was nice all the way through. No parent should ever struggle to find affordable care for their children. Any politician that tries to make things harder for these parents clearly has something rotten in their personality.
D Mos Then you missed the point entirely.
That shot of Guillermo with his eyes full of tears... Too much for me this morning.
Guillermo is the Spanish equivalent to William. Jimmy's son's name is Billy.

*Love*how he thanks the hospital and staff. The mark of a sincere man...* 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
THIS is a huge reason for not giving birth home. My mother is a doctor and I know from her about babies who arrived too late to the hospital. I know it sounds cool, but please, don't do it.
My friend works in the emergency room, and she says there are SO MANY women trying to have babies at home and then they have serious complications and have to come to the er.
I don't know why anyone would take a chance with their baby's precious life in that way.
Also I would want spotlessly clean surroundings and a ton of pain meds💉💉💉
Well, I think after their daughter was born with the same, but not as serious form of this, they probably knew this was a possibility.
There are also thousands of people who successfully give birth at home. There are midwives and nurses present for the birth and postpartum period who are trained to see this in infants and newborns. They’re not alone
Hey jimmy. I was born with the same heart disease and shouldnt suposed to live more than 8 weeks. But here I am. A 30 years old man, 1,80 mts tall, 85 kgs, lawyer, healthy as a horse (maybe even better) and doing things that my parents and doctors never thought I would do (climbing, diving, swimming with sharks, and so).
I'll pray for your family, Jimmy. Cheer up 'cause your child will respond much better if he sees your family together and strong.
Greetings from Argentina
Damián V could of done something more positive with your life besides being a lawyer. I'm joking. I was born with the same heart defect. Ran a half-marathon in 2015. Proudest day of my life. Sending you positive vibes my brother from another mother.
Michael Weber lol thanks man. Right back at you. I'd like to run a marathon some day, too.
Same here! I'm 16 and have the same condition!
Damián V how did you swim with the sharks. Please tell me.
Don't prey on his family
This is a joke congratulations on your successes
Imagine being the parents that couldn't afford the healthcare cost if their child was born with a heart defect ☹️ Everyone should have access to healthcare by being a citizen of this country.
BAHHHH SOCIALISM BAAAGGGGHHH MUSLIMS BAHHH BUILD THE WALLL GRRRR!!
DesecratedReaper There's literally no benefits to building that wall. It will cost billions and we all will have to pay for it.
Brian Cheng Then in no time, nobody would get the treatment.
Agreed. That's what I like the most here in Norway. The "free" healthcare that is being funded by our taxes. Making it worth paying quite a lot in taxes because of this.
msgtblbj what makes you think it can't be done?
I wasn't ready for this video. You can tell Jimmy and his wife will forever be grateful to those nurses and doctors for saving their precious child
I like Jimmy Kimmel but I don’t think it was a good idea for him to be a new father at age 50. Plus he has kids that all grown up at his age he should be a grandfather!
9:26 you can see his tears, what a friend man!
In Norway healthcare is free until you're 18 - no matter how big the cause is. When passed 18 you have to pay for medical appointments, but when you pass 200$ spent on healthcare, the government covers the rest. Last year I had quite a few visits to the doctors office, ended up paying 220$ (2162 NOK), and they found out I had a very rare disease called "Lemierres Syndrome". I had to be fled in an ambulance airplane twice, had two CT scans, one MRI, two X-rays and eight ultrasound-checks, as well as three weeks spent in two different hospitals where I needed breathing assitance, pills and morphine. That would cost about 814 076,69 USD, but I payed zero.
I don't work, so I don't have health insurance, but in Norway you do not _need_ health insurance. Noone is _allowed_ to pay more than 200$ on doctors appointments. Me and my family are not very financially stable, so we would've gone bankrupt, but we didn't because healthcare is free here - no matter how much the cost is.
Yea, we do pay a lot of taxes. I think like 20% of our salaries are taken away because of taxes, but then again we have free childcare, we have 100% maternity leave for moms _and_ dads up to 12 months, we have free hospital visits, we have free school from 1st grade in primary, and you get free loans for college, without needing a deposit first.
If I make 2 billion USD every year in the future, I will GLADLY pay my 20% taxes. Because it means that _everyone_ in my country is safe, for sure - no matter if they're born in a poor or a rich family. I know that in the U.S. a lot of people don't pay their taxes, but in Norway everyone does. Noone will want to be friends with you if they find out that you don't pay taxes, it's the least socially acceptable thing you can do here.
USA is a great country with so many qualities, and I've dreamt of living there since I was six years old. It is INSANE to me that this is not a primary right for all Americans yet. This should seriously be the #1 priority with ANY candidate, for ALL the parties. We are all human, we all get sick, that's how life works - even in America.
M Amine Thank you so much!

I'm from Denmark :D
And i too love the way we do things here - no one gets left behind - just because they where delt a bad hand at birth.
Here we take care off everyone.
Good to hear you have started school again - keep on fighting (:
Norwegian Koala That is how it is here in Italy too. Doesn't work as well as Norway (nothing does here) but still, a million times better than in the States. I am American but have lived here for many years, and one of the reasons I stay here is because I can't even conceive of living anymore in a country where health care is not considered a right. My daughter was born with a genetic disorder and has been and out of hospitals all her life, had multiple operations, and we never paid a cent. I would never be able to get her care in the States. It is disgraceful that every other civilized country has health care for all, everyone except the United States. I have heard many people say "Oh, but socialized medicine doesn't work, you have to wait in long lines, you don't get quality care, and blah blah." This from people who have never experienced it and don't know first hand, they only say what they have been made to believe. True, taxes here are outrageous (more , I believe than in Norway), and unlike in your lovely country, many people (the rich mostly) get away with tax evasion, but I would rather pay taxes that I know help people who are in my same kind of situation or worse, than enrich insurance companies. Unfortunately so many Americans are too close minded to even listen to such arguments. They seem to think their"rights" are being taken away. Bernie Sanders would like to change this, I hope it does change but as America is getting dumber rather than smarter, it seems unlikely.
Norwegian Koala scandinavian countries are the best places on earth IMO.. a healthy mix of capitalism and socialism plus a very liberal and open society.. the dream 👏🏻👏🏻
Norwegian Koala in Canada its free for all ages

Wow! You had an amazing nurse. As a nurse and nurse practitioner, we are are the front line. We have something called “nurse’s intuition”, which guides us to find subtle abnormalities. For her to catch TOF (tetralogy of Fallot) so quickly is truly talented and highly skilled. We are sadly underpaid and overworked in comparison to the level of care we provide. I continued on to nurse practitioner so I could continue honing my skills. I have saved many lives, and I have to tell you, it’s the most amazingly fulfilling feeling. It makes those stressful days of “Where’s the Doctor? I want to see a doctor!”, drug seekers and the massive amounts of documentation and hoop jumping seem infinitely minuscule. We take our work everywhere as well, and can’t help but diagnose anyone we see out in public. I am so glad his TOF was found and surgically corrected so quickly!
You are so right! Some people catch it and some don't. My son Mikey was born with Tetralogy of Fallot, Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCAS. About two hours after my c-section, I noticed he turned solid purple and got the nurse. Things blew up and got very scary, very fast.
Only Jimmy can make me cry and laugh at the same Time.

Jimmy’s children will love watching this when they grow up and will truly understand what incredible humility (and amazing command of humor) their father possesses.
