You are the fukin best bra. You changed my life. And when im up and running im going compensate you. Because of you I will finally make money at this ish. So thankful to you Mello OMG!!!
Please make as many videos as possible. Ur dope bro. Not only are u talented but you are great at explaining things. Not just what ur doing but why and how. Keep it up, thank you!
I appreciate that tremendously. I’m trying to get he hang of the video editing but once I got it all under control, videos will be coming more frequently. Thank you 🙏🏾
Yea, this chord progression and the one I mentioned in the most popular chord progression video get used like crazy to this day and they were getting used a lot for years.
But outside of that, I’d say search RUclips and google for “chord music theory” and “how chord progressions work” and implement the things you see immediately, even while you’re watching it
What happens if I use the same loop as another' beat maker from a pack to build a beat does it matter or not or is it just how creative you are when using the loop?
Doesn't matter at all. I'll actually get in depth on this. Legally, the only thing that matters is who made the loop. Outside of the loop maker, other users don't matter. Now as far as the loop, if you think about it, a bunch of producers have used the same samples to death. Nobody cares. Now as far as loops, a great example is Migos "what's the price" and Lil Bibby "steph".... Same loop. 2 industry rappers. They don't care as long as the loop can get cleared and the beat is dope.
Do what you want with the loop. I'll keep it real, the only people who care about petty stuff like judging how you use a loop, is other producers..... And they don't buy beats.
Also in general does it matter how many bars long the melody is? I’m having trouble putting drums in the mix of the melody I created from what you taught us
I'm doing a melody basics series right now breaking down all the fundamentals of melody making and I will be doing more cook up tutorials based around artists so I definitely got more like this coming
Facts, I talked about that in a video I did about originality on another channel. I been contemplating redoing the video or just bringing the video over.
I checked it out. The irony of this is that I'm planning on doing a video about filling the lower mid frequencies on a melody, its one of the principles i move by to make a beat sound full. I also mentioned it in my sound selection video but i got a bunch of concepts lined up

What's the best way for me to learn how Chords and Progressions work?
I went over it at 1:20. I plan on doing a full video on both of them soon but I’m gonna do scales first.
But outside of that, I’d say search RUclips and google for “chord music theory” and “how chord progressions work” and implement the things you see immediately, even while you’re watching it
NICE

@@MelloDeeBeats This is the realest and most accurate response I have ever heard respect bro 🤙🏾
Also in general does it matter how many bars long the melody is? I’m having trouble putting drums in the mix of the melody I created from what you taught us
Melodies are usually 4 to 8 bars. if you're having issues with the drums, watch this video ruclips.net/video/6hFp7nqdUBg/видео.html
How do you make melodies like the piano in the background
I got a video on piano melodies. I'll be making more melody tutorials soon as well. ruclips.net/video/9CSWIITD1IQ/видео.html
do you sell the chord midi pack that you used there on the sidebar?
Not yet, that’s a personal stash I created. I’m making midi products this year
good video bruh subbd
Thank you 🙏🏾
Hi where did you get that chord pack? is it available for purchase?
I made the midi myself, I’m working on a midi chord pack
@@MelloDeeBeats the one you had on the side also ?
🤣🔥🔥🔥
isnt this also the lil baby 4pf chord progression? The 1-6
It might be, I’ll have to check
Dope vid bro…is that kit for sale.
it's not but i should put it up for sale
I can’t see what BPM you’re in but I’m in 137
First of all I love this tutorial.. but can you do one breaking down how you came up with 2 the 2nd progression & melody.. that was the sauce!
I'm doing a melody basics series right now breaking down all the fundamentals of melody making and I will be doing more cook up tutorials based around artists so I definitely got more like this coming
Background track??
a beat called heart 2 heart that i made, its not uploaded nowhere
Can you upload it..its really nice
wats the bpm
Double time, so it’ll work for anything 120-160
I usually do 130bpm
we all use the same progressions yet and still we all have different styles and stuff like that . . . just a thought
Facts, I talked about that in a video I did about originality on another channel. I been contemplating redoing the video or just bringing the video over.
@@MelloDeeBeats redo it fam lol
Also can you checkout the video. The Magic Is In The Midrange and do a video on it. I know you can teach that shit like a Boss. Much Love Mello!!!$$$
