This is my first guitar tutorial video for Filipino traditional music on classical guitar. Thanks to my youtube friends who helped me develop this over the last 2 weeks, I was able to create a simple pattern that will hopefully encourage viewers to learn to play this piece. The litmus test is to see if this works with a wider and more varied audience.
Why tabs instead of standard notation? Even though I only read standard notation music, I chose to show tabs because most casual guitarists out there find tabs very easy to learn and follow. They may choose to study standard notation at a later time, but using tabs now will certainly jump start their interest and maintain their enthusiasm for the classical guitar.
