After a battle with some rioters caused by Demeia's outburst of anger due to their insults towards her temple, flashbacks of her past resurface which lead her to have an internal conflict and second thoughts about whether she is still in the right; coming to believe that she is the same as Duglaad (the bad guy) or even could be worse.
Each new battle reminds her of the past ones in which due to her reckless actions she almost lost the life of Emkyll (the dwarf), this leads her to wonder if it is not the case of embracing the darkest part of herself in order to protect her his companions.
But thanks to the support of Ava (the half-orc) Demeia manages to escape from this senseless spiral of self-blame.

Dopo uno scontro con dei rivoltosi causato da uno scatto d'ira di Demeia, dovuto a gli insulti di questi nei confronti del suo tempio, riaffiorano dei flashback del suo passato che la portano ad avere un conflitto interno e ripensamenti se sia ancora nel giusto; arrivando a credere di essere uguale a Duglaad (il cattivo) o persino poter essere peggio.
Ogni nuova battaglia le ricorda quelle passate in cui a causa delle sue sconsiderate azioni per poco non perdeva la vita di Emkyll (il nano), questo la porta a chiedersi se non sia il caso di abbracciare la parte più buia di sé pur di proteggere i suoi compagni.
Ma grazie al supporto di Ava (la mezz'orca) Demeia riesce ad uscire da questa spirale senza senso di auto colpevolizzazione.
