Freddie held 72,000 people... And 1.3 billion on TV, in the palm of his hand, and proceeded to give them the performance of their life. Night after night ❤️
Freddie knew how to wrap the crowd around his finger... he was an absolute genius at getting the crowd hyped. Funny thing is, he was actually a really shy guy, but put a mic in his hand, he could hold the attention of millions
Freddie Mercury is far an above the best front man in rock...raw natural talent, best vocal ability, best vocal range, best at interacting with his audience...he is simply THE BEST!
It was very lucky that Freddie Mercury was convinced to do the magic tour. in some books I read that the routine of the tour was massacring him and honestly this sentence already made it clear that he suspected he was sick with AIDS, but if his willpower didn't lead him to make the European tour we will have missed the most beautiful live performances! Unfortunately Freddie's difficulty can be seen in some concerts, in fact at the end of the magic tour he will confess to the rest of the band the desire not to continue with the concerts. Clear sign of his knowledge of being ill. one has only to open one's eyes and realize that this man has given the best performances, best sick vocal performances. this man to me is not a human being he is something above.
Sooo good thank you for doing this live performance My biggest regret is never seeing the original Queen live RIP Freddie you are still missed 😢 🤟🤟🏴🏴
Freddie Mercury was electric. I mean, almost in the literal sense. His voice, his theatric capabilities, his presence, his command of the audience, his lighting-speed moves, and his songwriting. Second to none.
I will always respect Freddie. To me he defines what a frontman should be. If anybody has any doubts, let's just count the ways he entertained us. 1. He could sing just about any style of music. 2. He was a great piano player and decent guitar player. 3. Audience interaction. 4. Stage presence & stage moves 5. With all due respect to most bands, he didn't need special effects or a special stage setup. 6. The love that he showed his fans and the amount of love they showed him in return. If anybody has any of those qualities, they are good. Freddie had all of those. There have been very few singers or entertainers who check all those boxes, and it pains me to say it, but nobody will ever come close. That would be like trying to find the next Elvis, Michael Jackson or Prince. You'll have plenty of people inspired by those artists, but those artists are immortal.
Freddie best singer and rock frontman of the 20th century! 👍The opening is Freddie’s warm up sounds and was something he did to get the crowd involved. He was famous for his call and response with the crowd. Never say the words ice baby during this work of art between Queen and David Bowie that the vanilla kid tried to steal without giving credit. He lost the court case and had to pay millions to both artists. The bass riff that’s so catchy was created by Queen bass player John Deacon. A legend.
Fred’s ability to control the crowd and play with them was fabulous. You don’t find that in that large number of people anymore. He touches people in a special place in our hearts. That’s why they play Queen’s music before games, concerts and events all over the world.
He also admitted that he did sample it. "In a 1990 interview, Van Winkle claimed the two melodies were slightly different because he had added an additional note on the "and" of the fourth beat. In later interviews, Van Winkle readily admitted he sampled the song and claimed his 1990 statement was a joke; others, however, suggested he had been serious. After representatives for Queen and Bowie threatened a copyright infringement suit against him, the matter was settled out of court, with Van Winkle being required to pay financial recompense to the original artists. Bowie and all members of Queen were also given songwriting credit for the sample." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ice_Ice_Baby
The following night live at Knebworth, unofficially over 200000 people, I was lucky enough to be there , little did we realise that sadly it would be their last ever live performance 😢 ..
Watching this as a little kid was magic! Never had ever heard of anything this cool! I lived in Lake Tahoe and being in the middle of the mountains to get TV Period it was sent by satelite to the main reciever for the whole basin. We got this, we got MTV's first broadcast! It was amazing!
Freddie did not care for the song until Bowie convinced him with the finger clicking in the song, then Freddie said O.K. I saw Queen every time they came to Cleveland, Ohio and was blown away at every show.
U guy absolutely would love the live aid set of theirs. It is spectacular and he could hardly talk and went on to give the ppl all they could handle and more. Simply amazing. RIP MR FREDDY MERCURY an absolute genius
To witness someone so legendary so inclusive with an audience of that size. Freddie literally brought that entire audience on stage with him. How beautiful is that
REQUEST: You guys NEED to react to Queen’s legendary 20-minute set at LIVE AID ! IMPORTANT NOTE, THO: There are some INCOMPLETE copies of the Queen Live Aid video circulating on YT right now (somebody uploaded them). The BEST QUALITY - REMASTERED - COMPLETE video of Queen’s Live Aid set is on: Remastered Memories channel.
Saw Queen live more than once and Freddie was always the master of stage presence and an amazing vocalist. I've every album they ever put out. I live less then 3miles down the road for Queen's Guitarist brilliant musician have met him a few time's due to his Wildlife Charity. He's hightly intelligent, down to earth, lovely human being.
I had the Extreme Pleasure of seeing this Song performed by Mr. DAVID BOWIE and His Bassist, Gail Ann Dorsey covers the High parts that Freddy hits at the end. The wailing part. That was 2004 during The Reality Tour. It literally sent chills Up My Spine. I relate to what I consider the songs meaning, more and more, the Older I get. The Song is actually a Sad One, in my opinion.
Don’t forget to give Roger Taylor (drums) the kudos he deserves for the backing vocals on this song (and many others)!! Queen we’re a very well oiled machine.. unmatched!!
For my money nobody does it better than freddie mercury. And anyone who hasn't seen the movie about freddie Mercury, the queen movie, you need to watch it. It's definitely worth the watch. I've seen it a bunch of times because it's that good. I keep finding people who haven't seen it and rewatching it with them.
SOOOO glad y'all got to see that F-U snippet!! 😂🖤😅That's one I'd hoped would eventually be on the tribes radar. I grew up listening to their ACTUAL albums! His charisma just radiates.
Great song! He really had quite the stage presence and beautiful voice!! RIP Freddie😢. I like this song but I really like it with David Bowie Rip David 😢. (Two great legends that we have unfortunately lost!) Great choice guys!🤓❤️🎸
Our good fortune that Farrokh Bulsara wanted enough to be Freddie Mercury...otherwise, think what we would have missed. One heck of a merger. The Winner. The End.
Freddie and Chris Cornell have the best body of work of any singers/ front men. They are untouchable!!! I have them up top like Jimi and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Nobody can touch them...
They are seeing Freddie Mercury at his peak in the best concert that Queen gave and that thanks to life was recorded, they react to Radio Ga Ga from that concert they are going to go crazy
I lived around Avery island LA and know all bout that sauce hell the factory is above one of the largest salt deposits in the world so easy place to make it
If it ever comes down to layne stayley vs freddie mercury, you have to give it to mercury. Even though layne is an incredible singer and in my top 5, you cant deny the sheer energy of freddie, his stage presenxe his interactions with the crowd etc. He is a better performer overall without a doubt. Easilly top 3 performers of ALL TIME!!
Well, here's the thing, other than the break between Hot Space and the Works, Queen never split or broke up. If there was proof of that their set at Live Aid, the year before showed they didn't miss a step. When it was revealed to the fellow band members that Freddie was sick, they kept it under wraps and started taking more breaks between albums up until the end. He wanted to sing as much as he could and release as much music as he could in the last few years of his life.
Freddie held 72,000 people... And 1.3 billion on TV, in the palm of his hand, and proceeded to give them the performance of their life.

Queen/David bowie wrote this sing together, vanilla ice used the beat without permission, and they sued him and they Won!!!
Freddie's crowd control was second to none.

It's not even a contest. Freddie is the GOAT frontman without doubt. Who else could perform on stage & interact with a crowd like he could? NOBODY.
Freddie is legend. He is incomparable
Sooo good thank you for doing this live performance
My biggest regret is never seeing the original Queen live
RIP Freddie you are still missed 😢 🤟🤟🏴🏴
Freddie Mercury was electric. I mean, almost in the literal sense. His voice, his theatric capabilities, his presence, his command of the audience, his lighting-speed moves, and his songwriting. Second to none.
It was crowd participation that Freddie always did with the audience. He loved getting the audience to participate in the concert.
Freddie is the greatest. His vocals, stage humor, performance, and his love of us fans was shown to us always.
I will always respect Freddie. To me he defines what a frontman should be. If anybody has any doubts, let's just count the ways he entertained us.

Don’t forget his songwriting which includes some of the most enduring popular songs of all time.
Freddie was just ... he was amazing
And when you realize its all him. No additional tweaks. Just him

Queen is so legendary so influential so amazing we will we will rock you guys are awesome

There’s many great singers! Freddie sang! True legend ❤
You fellas ought to watch the ENTIRE 1986 Wembley Stadium concert... Especially since it was their LAST CONCERT!😢
David Bowie and Annie Lenox tribute version is great too. Freddie was fantastic stage animal, for me he is winner of this round.
That was a great tribute show and Annie and Bowie did the song justice.
This performance, mostly the intro with that crowd control, is proof who the ultimate winner of this tournament should be
Vanilla ice claimed he didn't sample this song. You guys should check out the one with Bowie, it's fantastic.
He also admitted that he did sample it.

I´m a Queen fan since 1979, and Rammstein fan since 2019, but i really love both.👍👍
I was a 16 year old in the crowd, amazing day!
Awesome performance as always...but I really like the original best that he did with David Bowie! Two amazing artists together and we miss you both ❤
I love Til and Rammstein in general but Freddy is going to win this whole thing
I gotta back that word for word.
And Freddie too... 😜👑
‘Killer Queen’ still has my favorite Queen vocals of all time. Hopefully you guys will get to that one eventually 😊
Also, my favorite of all time.

The following night live at Knebworth, unofficially over 200000 people, I was lucky enough to be there , little did we realise that sadly it would be their last ever live performance 😢 ..
Freddie is the ultimate frontman ..... No one can compare.
THE BEST BAND
THE BEST VOCALIST OF THE WORLD
WE MISS YOU
I'd have to consider myself a major fan of Rammstein, but Freddie Mercury is in a whole other hemisphere when it comes to most other lead vocalists.
God bless Freddie, we'll never see his like again. RIP GOAT. 💔
Legend.... please play the opening song of Wembley One Vision brilliant concert wonderful reaction.
Great track. Hadn't heard that one in awhile.
Makes me tear up watching this. Oh man, Freddie was the best.
Watching this as a little kid was magic! Never had ever heard of anything this cool! I lived in Lake Tahoe and being in the middle of the mountains to get TV Period it was sent by satelite to the main reciever for the whole basin. We got this, we got MTV's first broadcast! It was amazing!

Queen live is always amasing, but the studio version with David Bowie is awesome.
U guy absolutely would love the live aid set of theirs. It is spectacular and he could hardly talk and went on to give the ppl all they could handle and more. Simply amazing. RIP MR FREDDY MERCURY an absolute genius
the vocal warm up at the start was Freddies way of communicating with audiences from non-english speaking counties.
Queen and especially Freddie Mercury and all, but the recording with David Bowie is just *chef's kiss*
To witness someone so legendary so inclusive with an audience of that size. Freddie literally brought that entire audience on stage with him. How beautiful is that

He went beast mode on that crowd
Freddy and Til? No contest! Freddy is the Man!!
Freddy didn’t have time to warm up his voice so he did it on stage and the crowd joined in which made for one of the best performances ever.
I miss Freddie Mercury as a singer and frontman
A great Rock band, with a capitol R.
Freddy was a real podium animal.

Have you guys watched Queen at the Live Aid show? July 13, 1985, 29 minute set.
It's a MUST see. I guarantee everyone will agree.
I believe they have reacted to that
@@matthewdrake4385 I looked but didn't see it. I will check again.
Our good fortune that Farrokh Bulsara wanted enough to be Freddie Mercury...otherwise, think what we would have missed. One heck of a merger. The Winner. The End.
A yellowjacket is on my radar. Have I been stung?
Just give it to Freddie and stop fkn around.
Rob VanWinkle puts his thumbs up on this one as well since he sampled this song in the 90's.
Not gonna lie, I was expecting this to be the Freddie and David Bowie version. Lol. ♥
Freddie and Chris Cornell have the best body of work of any singers/ front men. They are untouchable!!! I have them up top like Jimi and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Nobody can touch them...
The crowd loved to sing along with Freddie he never used auto tune.
Freddie,no contest whatsoever.
They are seeing Freddie Mercury at his peak in the best concert that Queen gave and that thanks to life was recorded, they react to Radio Ga Ga from that concert they are going to go crazy
Love your reactions 💕
You should include BoRap @ Montreal 81. Amazing.
watch the official video for this song and the concert they put together of David Bowie and Freddie singing together!
I've never even heard of Til.... Queen was my first concert ever. Freddie is THE GOAT!!!
This whole contest should have come down to Freddie Mercury vs Mick Jagger. But Hollywood put Mick against his love in the first round.
Check out the tribute concert version with Annie Lennox performing with Queen and David Bowie.
John Farnham has one of the best voices in rock born in uk but moved to australia. Nicknamed the voice
Freddie Mercury hands down. Don't even know who the other person is. There is only one Queen Freddie, top vocalists.
Fat Bottom Girls, I think yous would really enjoy that song.
I wish I had seen them live. I was too young. I'm so sorry.
There never has been and never will be anyone like Freddie.
I lived around Avery island LA and know all bout that sauce hell the factory is above one of the largest salt deposits in the world so easy place to make it
Freddie is the greatest vocalist ever and the greatest entertainer ever! Hands down!
100% Freddie.🔥❤
Queen was the best band EVER, and Freddie was a magical being.
Freddie vs Layne would tough, but Freddie got it
70's to the 90's for Freddie
There is no competition, Freddie was THE best frontman of any band EVER. I was in the crowd that night, what an experience.
FREDDIE MERCURY IS. THE. BEST… NO. QUESTION !!!🫶
Hey y’all 😊 this contest has been really fun ❤
If it ever comes down to layne stayley vs freddie mercury, you have to give it to mercury.

You need to react to Queen - Who wants to live forever LIve
Can tell that Till is more theatral and illustrated style of show. Also, Feddy more interractive as showman.
Please, more Queen 😉🎤🎸🎼 Like your reactions 👍🏻
