The flavour text for silvermoon portal is "What is Millhouse Manastorm doing in Silvermoon?" The very first time I saw it played, a millhouse came out. Coincidence?
I love how every time Kripp makes a video about a deck he made centered around a single card, yet in every game he actually shows using the deck, he might use that specific card MAYBE once.
I've run a very similar list. Only differences was Skeleton Knight instead of Cairne and Twilight Summoner instead of Silvermoon Portal. I had quite the succes with it. Highly recommend it myself if you have or afford it, guaranteed to have loads of fun.
I just on a whim dropped Barnes in to my N'zoth Rogue, figuring that there were enough deathrattles to make it worthwhile for a chance at duplicating one of them. Twice, in five games. It pulled N'zoth while I had either the bounce toxin from Xaril, or Shadowcaster in hand.
ok about the last lethal doesnt battlecry trigger before the minion is summoned? therefore vek nilash should come first? because if u play a twilight drake vs a mage with mirror entity, the copy gets the health bonus that the played one gets, therefor we know battlecry triggers before the minion is played(and copied) or does enter the coliseum choose the last played minion if theres 2 with same highest dmg?
Skipper HUN No, battlecrys trigger before the minion goes into play not after. For example if you play MC Tech and steal lets say your opponent's knife juggler, the juggler will throw a knife at the opponent. This happens because the by the time the MC Tech hits the board, the knife juggler is already on your side of the board. Meaning that the MC Tech's battlecry (stealing one of your opponent's minions) has happened before the MC tech was summoned. Hope this helped you understand battlecry a little bit better :p
You are wrong, the minion enters the board in the first phase, then happens the on summom phase(hobgoblin effect), then the battlecry phase, then the secret phase(mirror entity), then the after summon phase(knife juggler). For more information about phases, you can read the advanced rulebook. Hope this helped you understand battlecry a little bit better :p
making a deck fit Barnes may be a bit overzealous but i personally just put him in my Malygos rogue and Reno n'zoth rogue. in the n'zoth deck it was a bit rng but in miracle the only bad card it can pull is si7 in wich case you'll have played a 4 mana 4-5. best case you get an emperor discount or gadgetzan etc.
It was a good play. But still the lethal was not gaurenteed it was a 50/50 ETC would kill off the healthy 4/6 instead of the damaged 4.6 (4/2) EtC chooses randomly between the minions with the same (highest) attacks. So it was a good lethal but it was a coinflip
Barnes is so cool but pretty hard to balance a deck around. At least it's not like Y'Sharaaj where he removes an otherwise good battlecry minion from your deck.
This morning, I played a priest who Barnes into Deathwing, Dragonlord. Then get Ysera off of Deathwing and proceed to double resurrect into 2 Deathwings. I obviously lost.
How can Kripp say that the new fork card is bad when he puts a rallying blade in a deck with no divine shield other than tirion? As far as I know, 3 mana 3/2, deathrattle: draw a constructed level removal card is pretty good.
Kraig And I quote: "The weapon that you add to your hand is a three mana weapon, so that is a very crap weapon, and it is a pretty crappy thee mana minon...don't kid yourself for constructed."
Its because Kripp plays weapons as a surprise factor... hence the turn 4 rallying blade, if he plays the fork shit his opponent could play around knowing he has a 3-attack weapon... it also costs 6 mana.
John Woodworth Although I understand the concept, playing around cards only really matters when against cards that can majorly affect the board state, ie: Flamestrike, MC Tech, other board clears. the most playing around the weapon could give a player is maybe an extra 4/1 or 3/1 in very niche situations. The fork is very flexible, a trait that Kripp has said is important on many occasions. it provides relative tempo on turn 3 as well as card advantage and removal later down the road.
I sexually identify as a priest player. Everyday I dream about flying into ranked games and conceding to rank 25 players. Call me retarded. I don't care. I'm beautiful. I'm getting plastic surgery to get my minions silenced for 2 mana. You can now refer to me as Anduinn and respect my right to concede on turn 1. If you can't accept me you're a holy-phobe and need to check your concede privileges. Thank you for being so understanding.
try a malygos shaman with barnes. Just a fatigue shaman with malygos and spells. add in barnes, he either pulls thing frome bellow, earth elemental, or malygos op op.
Because enter the colisseum doesnt destroy the highest attack minion, but when there are two minions with the same attack, it leaves the first one played alive. Had he attacked into the wrong one and entered the colisseum, concegration wouldn't have killed taunt
The card "Enter the Coliseum" chooses the highest attack card for each player... In the case of Twin Emperor which both cards have (4) attack, the card keeps the one that comes into play first.
Both have same stats so the spell at which all minions expect the strongest one get destroyed takes the first played (came into play rather) of the minions with same stats.
+UnReal it wouldnt be better mana tide totem. it draws at start of the turn so it is extremely unlikely to draw a card unless played at the beggining of the game, and at that point you lose so much tempo
+Billy Diaz based simply how effective it was between naxxramas and gvg, it would definitely be a better mana tide totem simply for its cost and +1 HP, maybe not in control etc but for pretty much all aggressive decks, for it would be neutral as wel
even better: build a deck and have 50% of the cards randomly chosen and put in the enemy deck, and vice versa. more balanced, fun, and interesting. but it doesnt seem like blizzard will ever take player ideas for brawl's, this was already suggested. shame so much potential for interesting brawls
I don't understand why the very last play worked, don't battlecry effects trigger just before the minion actually enters play? So the "second" emperor should be considered the first by coliseum, right? Why is it reversed in this particular case?
Maybe the battlecry happens before the first minion enters play, but the actual entering the play of the second minion happens after the first minion enters play?
Actually nevermind, I checked the advanced rules and it looks like the battlecry does actually happen after the minion enters play. I swear there was some weird interaction with Dr. Boom at some point that a "pro" explained as the bots entering before he did due to how the phases were set up but now I'm wondering if either the game changed (unlikely) or the guy just had no idea what he was talking about (significantly more likely). That's what I get for trusting second hand knowledge, crisis averted.
+The Message's Movies the battlecry minion enters play first, but the minions summoned from the battlecry finish being summoned first. Which is why a Sword of Justice with less than 3 charges when Boom is played will buff Boombots and not Boom himself. There are some nested summoning phases involved.
Yes! I found this out too when playing against a Sacred Trial in arena. I had 2 minions on board, and played a faceless summoner, the trial triggered and killed my faceless summoner because it was the 4th minion played AFTER the 3-cost!
+John Woodworth that's more an issue with Sacred Trial's card text not being 100% clear. Completely accurate text would be closer to "if your opponent has 4 or more minions after playing one, destroy the played minion."
I checked the wiki and some other sources (Hearthpwn, Hearthhead etc.) and they all say if you play Enter the Colisseum and there are more than 1 minions with the same highest attack, they will be chosen randomly, not in order of play. Is the wiki wrong, or did Kripp just get lucky?
That was a pretty awesome lethal at the end tho.
Yeah, I'm surprised I had to scroll that much to see someone noticing that
Jizzed my pants... 1st & 2nd time I saw it.
But lucky at the same time. EtC doesn't care about the order in which minions are played, it chooses randomly between minions with equal attack.
CrackDaniels09 Oh, then it's as I thought initially of the card. Taking back my jizz... :(
That was some next level lethal there at the end!
spiciest lethal of 2016
+Skipperino Fanmailerino GONE SEXUAL!!!!!
[IN THE HOOD]
greed can turn out to be insane value!
look at this pic hahahah
Is that photoshop?
preeeeety good curve.
+cord1408 yeah it is, Kripps face is a copy and paste
Turns out when you can't kill Thaurissan, it gets preeeeeeeeeeety painful.
That lethal at the end was actually really neat.
Wow, Ethan! Great moves, keep it up, proud of you!
Papa bless
vape naysh yall
VN! Let us rip the fattest and only the fattest
The flavour text for silvermoon portal is "What is Millhouse Manastorm doing in Silvermoon?" The very first time I saw it played, a millhouse came out. Coincidence?
Yes.
The first TWO times I've seen it, out popped millhouse:(
It's because I'm a bad rng magnet and I'm pulling all the weak minions out of silvermoon Kappa
You know whats greedy? Not trading your dudes into me and go face instead..
yeah now will you finally fuck off and not be funny somewhere else.
+Mithrimil fuck you dude. piece of shit.
Someone's salty.
Leave magma rager alone!
+Mithrimil someone's salty cause they lost against a magma rager deck
Yes, another deck based on my glorious effect!
Why haven't you change your face, Kripperino?
kakoytazabar because I don't have Photoshoperino
Just use GIMP or something mate.
My hero * - *
I WILL STOMP YOU FOR NERFING MY FEET
Why am I not there? I dont have any drawbacks from getting summoned by Barnes
yes you do , you lose stealth
No, stealth is a passive not a battlecry
When your opponent plays Banes and summon Moroes, but you don't have any aoe removals :( feelsbadman
I love how every time Kripp makes a video about a deck he made centered around a single card, yet in every game he actually shows using the deck, he might use that specific card MAYBE once.
Barnes adds a surprise factor to your decks. I highly recommend it!
Mitch jones is not the victim
Wrong channel
dont you mean David Jones? Kappa
lol
Game of Jones
Mmmm trigger material
I've run a very similar list. Only differences was Skeleton Knight instead of Cairne and Twilight Summoner instead of Silvermoon Portal. I had quite the succes with it. Highly recommend it myself if you have or afford it, guaranteed to have loads of fun.
When I think about it, the Kripperinos are actually a blessing, a natural phenomenon
That lethal doe.
Awesome display of experience and knowledge about game mechanics
He's great in hunter because that deck has powerful deathrattles that naturally work for an aggressive hunter deck.
That colisseum play was pure class
I never realised that Cairne has a different speech when played against Garrosh... Nice touch, HS
what an amazing ending. love the work mate keep up the good game
That last lethal was pretty cool. Nice deck idea. I wonder if you really tweaked it, how well it could do.
That last play though 👌🏻
ok about the last lethal
doesnt battlecry trigger before the minion is summoned? therefore vek nilash should come first?

if u play a twilight drake vs a mage with mirror entity, the copy gets the health bonus that the played one gets, therefor we know battlecry triggers before the minion is played(and copied)
or does enter the coliseum choose the last played minion if theres 2 with same highest dmg?
The card has an "If" effect, which is why it does that I think.
no, battlecrys trigger after the minion was summoned
your example was wrong because secrets trigger after both summon AND battlecry
Skipper HUN No, battlecrys trigger before the minion goes into play not after. For example if you play MC Tech and steal lets say your opponent's knife juggler, the juggler will throw a knife at the opponent. This happens because the by the time the MC Tech hits the board, the knife juggler is already on your side of the board. That was a sick lethal at the end!
Raynad was playing the arcane giant charge deck on stream.
Amazing play at the end.
making a deck fit Barnes may be a bit overzealous but i personally just put him in my Malygos rogue and Reno n'zoth rogue. in the n'zoth deck it was a bit rng but in miracle the only bad card it can pull is si7 in wich case you'll have played a 4 mana 4-5. best case you get an emperor discount or gadgetzan etc.

no it was guranteed, it goes by order of placement, thats why kripp was asking which one came first
The website said it is random and has a link to the source.im just going off that for now because i never play enter the coliseum or go against it.
either way it wa the best play for him
Pretty sick lethal at the end there
That giants warrior though. Straight outta alpha
"Tirion Jr." The best remark :)
the last clip lethal shows how skillful kripp is in this game ...
"I have lethal but I don't know how to do it" That's something you don't hear often.
ive been using an even greedier paladin deck since more than a year ago, lots of heals & 16 legendaries
Barnes is so cool but pretty hard to balance a deck around. At least it's not like Y'Sharaaj where he removes an otherwise good battlecry minion from your deck.
Decks like these are why I run at least one silence in almost every deck.
That lethal was masterful
I think I played 8 games with Barnes N'zoth Priest last night and I got Rag off the Barnes effect 3 times. Barnes is my boy.
I will attempt to recreate this deck and then proceed to get my arse handed to me. Such is life.
wow that lethal was sick
4:39 Should've used Purify
16:42 Speaking of greedy, here's you go, you greedy ass Kripperinos.
I was hoping the portal would summon A doomsayer
"I have lethal, but I don't know how to do it". Reckful in a nutshell.
He didn't.
Kraig And I quote: "The weapon that you add to your hand is a three mana weapon, so that is a very crap weapon, and it is a pretty crappy thee mana minon...don't kid yourself for constructed."
Because Kripp never hates on cards if they are randomly inserted into his weird decks
Soooo much good rng that middle game with the early tirion😳
Why did it matter what order Veklor came in? Enter the Coliseum would do the same thing regardless, would it not? I'm confused.
this deck idea Will work better in priest with the silences
Beautiful last play.
One greedy paladin jumpin' on the bed. One fell up and bumped his head...
cant wait to try this out...just need 9 legendaries
I sexually identify as a priest player. Everyday I dream about flying into ranked games and conceding to rank 25 players. Call me retarded. I don't care. I'm beautiful. I'm getting plastic surgery to get my minions silenced for 2 mana. You can now refer to me as Anduinn and respect my right to concede on turn 1. If you can't accept me you're a holy-phobe and need to check your concede privileges. Thank you for being so understanding.
💀
Holy-phobe is probably the best thing I've heard all day
Misspelled Anduin, ruined the whole thing.
you didn't specify if it is an orientation or a choice. if it is a choice you can still rank up as a warrior.
This comment gets 76 likes? I have a pretty good sense of humor. Not sensing humor. just sensing cringe
I like the Enter the Coliseum
should have put nobel sac in there for a barnes and noble deck
Krip, you are what dreams are made of, if dreams never took a shower. Love the content :)
i could easly miss that lethal in the last game
try a malygos shaman with barnes.
Just a fatigue shaman with malygos and spells. add in barnes, he either pulls thing frome bellow, earth elemental, or malygos
op op.
Wow he saw that last game lethal and I had no idea
barnes>y'shaarj>n'zoth>concede
Where's Ragnaros the Firelord? Would be perfect in this deck!
Thx kripp, for doing other things than zoo snd aggro i mean it
What? where's the legendary that makes all your battlecries happen twice? Bran Bronzebeard would seem to be a real "Must have" for this deck!
Tiron Jr jokes made me lol pretty hard
5:25 moment for purify? hahaha if krip was playing priest that is
why was it important to know wich one of the Twin emperros came first into play?
when two cards have the same attack, the one that was played first is the one that survives
Seems like Enter the Coliseum selects the oldest minion when there's a tie.
9:23 don't talk to me or my son ever again
I run a very similar deck, but with dragons.
Holy shit that tech at the end
i have a question for u guys ... do u think nat pagle would be competitive if it was a guarenteed draw instead of a 50% chance to draw a card ?
then it would be a better mana tide totem, but y i think so, it's good for aggro to refill your hand
maybe. would of been interesting if they nerfed it to that.
It would be played if it was the old version that happened at the end of your turn
"tons of legendaries"
If you don't have "tons of legendaries", you are sunk.
making a barnes deck is awfully frustrating
wonder when they are going to remove the charge spell.
A usualy play deck of the same greed caliber, nzoth/ctun pally and for some reason i cant lose to warrior, but lose to all the other classes xD
you can call the deck "The Jew Paladin"
Or Not being so damn Racist holy Shit xD
That isn't racist
im a jew and i find this funny xD
But that's not funny xD lol He would need to be a rogue and have cut purse to be a jew
Religion is a race nowdays?
Says deck is ment to show off barnes, first game doesn't play barnes
You can have a deck built around Yogg-Saron then never draw it. Doesn't mean the deck isn't a yogg deck
You are dim wit
You are dim wit
it seems charging out Giants is back, but this time they're 10/8, not 8/8 and
almost can't belive i got everything on that list except Y'Shaarj and lay on hands
Good idea for a brawl: u make your opponent a deck
even better: build a deck and have 50% of the cards randomly chosen and put in the enemy deck, and vice versa. more balanced, fun, and interesting. but it doesnt seem like blizzard will ever take player ideas for brawl's, this was already suggested. shame so much potential for interesting brawls
HUZZAH, NOW PURIFY IS INSANE VALUE
They should release another DEATHWING with 12/12, something like "deathrattle- summon a dragon aspect with +1 / +2
and cost 20 mana
Can u try an all pirate deck with barnes tirion and spells to fill?
No more Worgen Combos bros. Only Arcane Giant Combos.
Try my creations too sad I don't have 10 000 dust
I thought the battlecry happened then the creature is summoned
wouldn't rag firelord be better here than deathwing?
This deck is even better than secret paladin cause it doesn't get hardcountered by me.
we need a BMskipperino kripperino
Why is it that Warrior is the only class allowed to do the kind of dmg it can do in bursts but Druid was too strong with a 9 mana combo ?
I find your lack of Brann Bronzebeard disturbing.
I don't understand why the very last play worked, don't battlecry effects trigger just before the minion actually enters play? So the "second" emperor should be considered the first by coliseum, right? Why is it reversed in this particular case?

how good are milk bones?.......turns out...its preeeeetty good. 👍
What is the program that Kripparrian uses to keep track of his deck in-game ?
More of these fun, and epic decks pls Kripp!!!!!! Bored of 0 brain sh..t :/
Enjoy his Kripps
is c'thun warrior good for climbing?
'If I hit 800% win rate you're gonna give me 3 bucks?' Lol
I checked the wiki and some other sources (Hearthpwn, Hearthhead etc.) and they all say if you play Enter the Colisseum and there are more than 1 minions with the same highest attack, they will be chosen randomly, not in order of play. Is the wiki wrong, or did Kripp just get lucky?
