As of patch 4.3.0 the poison seeds/exploding sheep no longer works, exploding happens before sumoning treants

Hey Kripp, I want to challenge you. You know when you make a deck and if you exit it, the game will ask if you want it to auto finish it. I want you to make a deck but let it auto finish without adding any cards, then see how many games out of 10 can you win with it.

With explosive sheep, it was tweaked to activate its deathrattle after both phases rather than after the first phase of the spell. A single tweaked value to be more or less higher.
Apparently the sheep+seeds combo was a bug. Just played this deck today and lost because it didn't work.
+gammafighter Yeah. Same to me. Even If you kill shredder by Sylvanas you won't take spawned minion. It looks like from now on all deathrattles activates strictly simultaneously.
Todays patch seems to have changed it back just had a game and the sheep+seeds combo didn´t work
Just tried this with the new patch and the dead shuts at blizz have patched out the explosive sheep-tree combo.
Good to know about that change of the rules! I have a druid deck that uses poison seeds to get a discount on some minions, such as treant on fire. Prior to knowing this, I had to rely on plenty of removal spells to make it worth, but now the sheep is coming!!

I actually made the experience that playing on a lower Level sometimes is way harder than on the upper levels, since on the lower levels there are not only some netdecked lists that you have been playing aginst for 10 times already but there are so many cards that you dont play aound since they normally never would be included in a deck
+MeandMonkeyLP The problem with that is that the cards aren't played because they are worse. It's like in SC2, Day[9] used to get questions where people in lower leagues couldn't predict a build based on build timings. His answer was that if they weren't hitting the build timings, all that meant was that they were playing worse so it didn't really matter.
gammafighter thats the answer i have given myself a lot, and while that may be true in most cases, it is just a fact that some cards that will never be played in constructed may have a big impact on a single game
So I tried the Explosive Sheep + Poison Seeds combo after last patch... Doesn't work anymore. Was unhappy
Try adding deathlord. Pulls out big minions for poison seeds

Is Justicar needed that much? Or could I play a brewmaster instead of her? Maybe even the one mana spell that discovers something
Miku9999 Justicar fills a different role than those two cards. As Kripp described, it's more like a heal than anything else. Maybe the second brewmaster to combo with reno or healbot will work

i am so happy to see this.
i tried my old mill/fatigue druid deck a couple days ago and i got stomped into paste. there are just FAR to many aggressive decks around right now x.x
so this is why i played so many fatigue druid wannabies (with the goddamn FoN+SR combos) today... thx Kripp.
New Combo can be 3 cards 7mana add in Living roots. so Seeds > Sheep > Living Roots 2 damage more rng but its back kinda i took out stafire for them
This deck reminds of Anyfin Can Happen Control. Sheep + Seeds = Equality + Consecration, and these combos are why they are competitive.
With this in mind, I decided to give this a whirl on the Legend ladder to see if it could compete with the top end players like Murlocs have proven they can do, and so far I'm a reasonable 4-2.
Initial results:
- 2-0 vs Freeze Mage (1 life both games, without early Justicar both games. Felt comfortable, just enough heal.)
- 1-0 vs Control Mage (1 life at the end. Made 3 obvious hindsight mistakes, could've been closer.)
- 1-0 vs Zoolock (First 2 waves of full boards were met by turn 6 and 7 Sheep/Seeds combo. Not close at all. Never below 10.)
- 0-1 vs Secret Paladin (great early to mid game, poor late game draws, eventually overwhelmed. Never drew combo.)
- 0-1 vs Oil Rogue (poor mulligan decision, poor draws, still close, no combo.)
- Haven't activated Reno Jackson yet.
Core Cards so far:
- 2 Naturalize
- 2 Wrath
- 2 Explosive Sheep
- 2 Wild Pyromancer (could cut 1 if more synergy is printed)
- 1 Youthful Brewmaster (could see 2 if more synergy is printed)
- 1 Brann, Bronzebeard
- 2 Coldlight Oracle
- 2 Poison Seeds
- 2 Swipe
- 2 Starfall
- 2 Antique Healbot
- 1 Justicar Trueheart
Cards that COULD be replaced with new synergies:
- 1 Doomsayer
- 1 Big Game Hunter
- 2 Keeper of the Grove
- 1 Reno Jackson
Cards that NEED replacing to become higher tier:
- 1 Healing Touch
- 1 Grove Tender
- 2 Starfire

Mill druid is a great example of the theory of relativity. The closer you get to the mill horizon the more time expands, eventually becoming infinite. ResidentSleeper
I played against exactly this deck this morning, rank 12. I was playing a Dragon Priest deck, and I got recked. There was no way I could have bursted him down fast enough to win, and when I hit fatigue, and I knew he had Brann and two coldlights in hand, it was over. I tried to send a friend request, since we're both Kripp fans obviously, but he ignored me :( So, confirmed, deck still works against level 12 plebs.
This deck is actually really fun to watch, great video!
as of yesterday the sheep+poison seeds combo doesn't work anymore.... now the explosive sheep's deathrattle triggers first and then the poison seeds:/
When Poison Seeds was released one of the first cards I tried it with was Explosive Sheep and I was so disappointed that the combo didn't work.

Ok, but Elise decks can't run out of steam, so I would think it's really unfavored against them, so why doesn't he have an Elise, it's basically fatigue warrior, but with less win conditions
+I really hate making up names for this kind of stuff umm yes they can run out of steam, it just takes longer, and if you play actual threats you create targets for removal and the opponent's hand clogs less

Hey krip, consider mulch in this mill deck. if they have a full hand its just a 3 mana assassinate. made a mill deck based off urs and had to change it up a bit since i dont have all the cards but mulch is pretty legit.

I have been playing this type of deck for sometime now.I don't think that changing tree of life for reno is a good one but i will add explosive sheep because this deck suffers from early pressure. i am on the fence for changing mulch for big game hunter
Can someone explain why he played Brann on curve onto an empty board at 23:30? Was it to keeper combo the next turn or something? In this deck Brann needs to proc on *something* to have good value.
+toadofsteel For tempo, I guess. His hand was low on quality removal, so he was in danger of being overwhelmed by leaving his board empty.

Fatigue Druid is by far my favorite deck to play, so much fun. Hope Whispers of the Old Gods pushes a little bit on fatigue druid.
The typical rank 20 deck was probably an inspire deck they made as their only deck at the start of tgt when they used ALL of their dust and then didn't have any more dust to make more decks. Idk though
Priestess of Elune and Voodoo Doctor are both healing minions that are considered bad. I think those are better counterpoints than vitality totem. He's also running healing touch, which doesn't draw cards or make a minion.

+Jesse Frederick Voodoo Doctor i something I used in something I call "healing priest"... you know, lightwardens and holy champions. You just play them and if they live then you buff their attack by REALLY BIG number... so they just kill your opponen in one turn then. But this deck has to actually have these 4 minions(or at least 1 of them sometimes) survive a turn so it's not too good.
***** In that sort of deck you're better off using area heals like pyromancer + powerword shield + circle of healing to buff a holy champion by a ridiculous amount. If you add another circle and a holy nova you can do upwards of 30 extra damage if you each had a couple minions on board.
Jesse Frederick I am doing that. But Voodoo doctor is still a 1 mana heal AND a minion(weak minion... but a minion).
Got here before most of the Kripperino's. I feel pretty accomplished.

When i want to make sure a deck is good, i will always use it against Rank 19's and 20's to test its strength.

I've been playing this deck for a while now but with Elise. Nothing else really change. glad to see explosive sheep in this new version. mine got destroyed by combo decks, 50/50 with aggro decks and control decks I win almost everytime. this deck needed an update. I'm not so good with updating decks

+Luca Rizzi my version is the 2 of everything. 2 doom sayers, 2 groove tenders etc etc. I took out the extra doom sayer for elise. elise is good for warrior match ups and other control decks. Bcuz your already winning in fatigue, this just secures your win. I didn't even run bgh. Kripp new version is better especially with the the sheep combo. If you really want elise while merging kripp's new version. I suggest removing bgh

pyro equality does same for 2 less mana and equality can be comboed with consecration and your own minions, pyro can be comboed with any other spells

Just build a slightly modified version of this running 2 bomb lobbers, a savage combatant and a garrison commander. the 8 attack without a weapon is real

No raven idols? I would think that Naturalize is one of the strongest cards in the deck, so even shooting for the moon with a discover to try to get it would be worth it.

Because it wasn't intended to act that way I imagine. Also it's better than equality/consecrate if your board is empty, since it CAN kill things summoned by deathrattles.
