I just got an RB67 and stumbled upon your channel while researching a little more about the camera. Your photos are pretty dope and your channel's definitely underrated. Keep grinding, my man. You earned my sub.
Agreed I too got hold of an RB67 recently my first effort was patchy the second effort confirmed it has bad light leaks but strangely not on every frame checkout the vid it’s bloody weird so next job is to fit new seals can’t wait to get it out there again. Keep shooting and enjoying 📷📷📷❤️📷
In most places where I was shooting, I could not take photos while on private property without permission. However, I could take photos of private property while standing on public property.
@@jorgemoiina Sometimes, it can become a big issue. A few years ago, I was shooting a murder scene at an apartment complex and the apartment manager took her rage out on me. She had the police remove me from the property and filed a restraining order against me to prevent me from setting foot on the property for 12 months. During the 12 months, the police investigation revealed that an employee of the management company committed the murder, the management company lost the apartment complex as a customer, and the manager lost her job.
@@jorgemoiina The photos were not that good. Before I was kicked off the property, the only photos I had taken were of the exterior of the apartment building, the police going in and out of the apartment, and the crowd watching the event. After I drove my SUV off the property, I parked in an off-premises parking lot and took long shots with a telephoto lens. The long shots were not that good but they infuriated the apartment manager because she had no authority to stop me.
Camera Lucida by Roland Barthes is what your comment of wanting to sit in the alley shot made me think of! Take a read if you’re interested. Keep the content going dude, good stuff!
Great pictures 👏🏼👏🏼 I do have a question tho 🙋🏻♂️ I just tried doing night time photography with the RB & I saw people using their cable release differently. I tired using the mirror lock up and T mode but got all sorts of confused. Then I saw someone that attached it to the shutter on T and then turned the lens to the 1 second to close the shutter. Or is your shutter release the double ended one??
ah yes, i had that question a couple of weeks back haha. so what i did is the second thing that you said. i attach my cable to the shutter button and use the T mode, once the exposure is done i carefully switch the shutter dial to 1 second. you can also crank the mirror lever to “close” the shutter too :D the mirror lock up option has a whole different explanation

Jorge, love to see you working with the BEAST RB. XLNT video. Thank you
Love watching your videos. The last photo of the alley and the bank are particularly good. Yeah, the alley shot is smooth, both the buildings and sky.
