Great question! YES, they are. One thing that happens especially in the Heavy Equipment Trade is that there are multiple names for the same component. Sometimes it can seem that the technician is making the names up, but it is often manufacturer’s that create the extra names. I am not sure if it is a hope of dodging a patent or some other licensing issue but it happens a lot.
