Eric, I have a Haat rod coming hopefully tomorrow and a Piscifun should be arriving on Saturday. In the video you mentioned 6-8# leader but what are you using for mainline? Thanks in advance for the reply and I’ll be giving you a call within the week to book a trip for my son and nephew.
Great Vid. Would not a fish grabber help getting those fish up and out quicker? I see Piscifun makes a good one. Keeps them fingers from freezing. I know the jaws are steel. I know you could finagle some kind of rubber tips on there somehow to be more gentle on the jaws.
Another very impressive video. I can’t figure out what the heck I’m doing wrong. We fished the exact same spot the day before with 6 snappers out and didn’t get a bite!! I just need to break the ice with the first one and then it’s on like donkey Kong!! Good job boys as always!!
Normally, it would be by now. We're a few degrees above normal for the next few weeks, so it may not until late January or early February... unusual year!

Can you use tip ups for these trout???? Also anywhere where I can buy spawn sacs? Anyone can answer thanks!
The jaw jackers work much better than tip ups when fishing for trout. Most bait shops along the great lakes tributaries will sell spawn sacs
Not really no. An yes an no. Depends where your @. U can order pautske eggs online I think though an tie em up your self.
Amazon you need the spawn netting and thread to tie them. Tip ups wont work trout will drop the bait before you get a chance
