Love the Videos!!! Love the Carbon X reels too. My only complaint with them...... they wont sell a spare spool. Contacted their company and they wont offer to sell spare spools for their reels. I like to have a spool rigged with braid and one with mono for different applications. Just a preference. Awesome reels though.
Honestly wish you could sell some spawn. Name it Haat-Spawn or Haat-Sacs 🤣 Great video, I used to fish that area all the time and haven’t been able to check it out yet. I would always catch steelies with squarebill cranks and it would be an amazing fight.

That was a fun time. I hit the harbors around Port Huron, Lexington, Harbor Beach, Grindstone city, Port Austin and Caseville. All in Lake Huron. The Brown Trout, Steelhead, Lake Trout, Atlantic Salmon and Coho are all the harbors this time of year. Most people are hunting in the fall and early winter. Very few fishermen. Great videos. A lake run brown is basically a unicorn in our area these days. They are my favorite I caught a 10 lber off oscoda pier in 2020 rare fish in Huron imo. I'm so happy they reintroduce the cohos. They stopped all the brown plantings because of the super low return rates and personally I think they wasted so many plantings in the saint Clair river during the walleye run. I don't think there's better walleye fishing from shore anywhere in the world. But you ever try the atlantica in the spring? Bobber and emerald shiner it's amazing how many more I catch in the spring rather then the fall spawning time. Blue water bridge is a great spot in the spring for Atlantic's.
Great video.Ive been fishing the rivers in southern Wisconsin and it's been on fire.10 plus fish and outing.Lots of rainbows in the mix of browns.Been a strange year this year weather wise but it only helped the river fishing.float fishings the best.

I used to fish downtown Chicago all the time and not only did I catch amazing fish (trout, salmon, perch and smallmouth) but also met people from all over the US and all over the world. Almost no one could ever believe I was catching fish. They'd be blow away when I show them a basket of jumbo perch.

Great stuff Eric. Convinced me to try Racine a couple weeks ago for Kings. Bad timing and worse weather limited what my options were from a kayak. Despite the conditions I had good success in getting Kings to slap my custom painted baits I made. Hookups was a different story. Keep up the great work Me Potato head. 😅

Dude awesome video I’m always everywhere around Milwaukee area sometimes same places and your right usually there’s nobody else most the time your content is fire the fact you explain so much makes your vids top notch unlike others that just play music over everything and don’t really go through anything like gear tactics handling the whole everything and your always having a good time 🤣

Crazy! Does anyone know if they'll go for salmon eggs or do you need the trout eggs? Or else can you still use lures?

A lot easier to catch trout and salmon out of lake michigan it seems. I think the fish are prettier in lake superior though
