Just put the gels back on…the nails don’t have to breathe…we have a dermatologist in the family,so we have this info straight from a good source. I’ve had acrylics for 40 years…now I have gel polish on top…all is good with my hands and nails…it’s just a regular part of my grooming routine…yep,every 2 weeks😘. Love the look in the video today…very pretty.
Amen, acrylic since 1988 so I could stop picking at my cuticle. Started gel color and top coat when they first came out. No problem

I was taught to iron when I was young. My mom made me iron our linens (sheets and pillow cases) and drapes. I still iron today!

I never considered sunglasses as a big deal. I will buy sunglasses, a couple of pairs for the summer, a little pricier ones because I am not a young woman anymore, so I want something more classier, but not too expensive. I had two compliments on my sunglasses yesterday and it made me laugh because that is the last thing I would think someone would compliment you about sunglasses you wear. Your video proves that people do notice your sunglasses! Thanks for sharing your tips!

Navy blue is my "summer/spring neutral," replacing black. Such a fresh, classic look.
These are so practical, yet easy to overlook, so I always appreciate the reminder. I love the look of diamonds with jeans, so should probably look for the cubic zirconia ones for travel. Your white dresses are so pretty... they look so fresh and cool for the hot days. I'll have to look into that pillow...I need a different one and will check this out.

According to the Color Analysis channels I follow, looking at your veins to determine if you are cool or warm has been debunked. Often a beginning point for the client's analysis is to drape large swatches of silver and gold fabrics under the client's chin. It is amazing how much that reveals. Thanks for your great content! I am a Certified Color Consultant. All the "rules" have execptions . We are individual and like snowflakes, no repeat copies. But basic color family, "warm or cool" palette will make such a difference!!! Pkus wardrobe gets manageable.

I use Downey wrinkle release for some things in my closet. My closet is always packed. And my clothes get a little wrinkled. So when I pull it out I spray it with the wrinkle release and by the time I’m ready to put my shirt on it’s wrinkle free. I do own a steamer. I know I own an iron. But I don’t own an ironing board anymore. I used to have to iron my husband’s uniform. And it was a pain. So maybe that’s why now, when we’re both retired I don’t ever get my iron out. I have an Apple Watch. And I wear it everyday. I don’t think it looks great. But it alerts me to a lot. And I don’t always have my phone with me. This was a great video. I don’t go out much. But when I do I try to look nice.

I also use updated style fit overs as sunglasses. After I had a $900 prescription sunglasses stolen, I decided to use polarized less expensive fit overs.
I like hats that will roll and pack in the suitcase.

Great tips ! I wore white linen pants all day today, and as of yet, I haven't freaked out from the wrinkles!! It was very hot and humid and they kept me cool. I love the look of manicured nails - I don't do gels, but the dip powder, and I had to take it off recently for my operation, and my nails were fine (and I have been getting the dip nails for about 2 years nonstop). It lasts about 3 weeks for me, and there's no uv light involved.
I've only recently learned about dip nails, I have to look into this! Yes, it's unbearably hot and humid here too!
I agree Cathy,. I have an Apple Watch but mostly wear it at the gym or as a step tracker. I prefer my Citizen watch which is gold and silver for everyday wear. It looks nicer with jewelry, and I don't have to worry about the battery dying.
I've got a nice round faced watch that comes with a few different color/style bands which can really give a different look to outfits. An Apple watch is quite informal and sporty and really doesn't belong in the polished category.

I think classy is the way to go, not rich. Or as someone else put it, put together. Looking rich or expensive sounds, to me, like we're being phoney. Just my opinion.

Be careful with the gel nail polish. Over time it will do a number on your nails. I had really good nails. It was always one of my best assets. Gel nails destroyed them. It has taken me years to get my nails back, and they are still not as strong and pretty as they used to be.

I get our glasses from Zenni Optical, they dont have trifocals, but have bifocals with or without the lines and you can get transitions so that they change from normal to sunglasses. And much cheaper than the eye doctor.
Try Marshall’s, TJ Max, Kohls for big sunglasses.
I recently discovered nail wraps that you do yourself at home. Easier on your nails and pocketbook!

I got my prescription sunglasses from two different places Zinff optical I got a pair of prescription ones for 60.00 but only for distance and they
Are very nice sturdy sunglasses.. I got one for my car that’s no line bifocal from Glass shop USA they aren’t as nice as Zinffs but they do the truck for driving I paid 65 for those..

I've heard that black, esp near the face, is nit goid fir older women. If all you can find is black try putting a lighter, more colorful shawl or scarf near your face. I look bad in white & am always on the look out for cream or at least ivory tops. Scarves help there too.
