Agree with the poster below, I come here for Greg more than the guitars anymore. That said, it wouldn't be the same if he were demoing violins... Also, look at that thing - obvious PRS Silver Sky copy, amirite?!? 😛👍🔥
Earl00001 I’m just not hearing the deep nulls and peaks in frequency response that we all know and love from the neck/mid or bridge/mid settings. This would indicate to me that the mid pickup is outputting at a lower level than usual, which can be the result of incorrect pickup height. Note reverse wind is not the same as reverse polarity. Reverse polarity would result in an ‘icepick’ bright sound in the combination positions. Reverse wind means the winding direction is opposite of the other two pickups, causing any hum induction to be in the opposite polarity, thus cancelling hum, as is done with the two coils of every humbucker.
@@artysanmobile Right on Peter thanks for responding. I guess low pick up height would be the answer then. I was under the impression that 2 and 4 positions were always hum canceling, even without a reverse wound in the middle.
And gear those icy blue metallic winds a howling down the sweet plain. Thanks enjoyed got ta break out the blond 76 ash w maple neck wow thanks for inspiring me ta get out the hardwood. Just for fun, when i was in my senior year of high school we where sitting out at the park on a concrete picnic table you know yhe kind that look great from a distance in the shade but when ya get close it looks kind of like the birds have been picnicking, and near the football stadium an acquaintance Picked up a dinner roll and a rock then he put the rock in the dinner roll and threw it and proclaimed "rock and roll" and we rocked and rolled on the ground almost laughing. Ya should have been there.

FINALLY! A Stratocaster with something other than freaking John Cruz Pickups! Sheesh...
That guitar sounds stunning.
Love Greg only here for him
That's sweet. He's married though
another "you cant play like this, eat shit boiyyy" video, love it.
Stevie & Jimi would be proud 😛
Big tone
U need a matching faded ice blue metallic amp!
Looks Inca Silver, no??
How about some LESSON videos?
Judging from the sound of the 2 and 4 positions, the middle pickup might be set too low physically.
How do they sound to you? It does say the Middle is reverse wound. Asking because i'm a Gibson player looking for a CS strat.

Ha, I thought you needed help! Now I know it...Baiting Trumpers is such fun, as they’re so easily triggered..ha ha!!!
Like I said, it’s easy to trigger fools! And no couldn’t care less about Obama, not even in my Country!! Do you recognise humbuckers yet!!!

Glad it weighs 7.55 pounds; anything over 7.63 pounds will not deliver pure Stratocaster tone. 😉
Fender = overpriced.
Custom shop guitars for custom pockets = simples
If you adjust for inflation (1955-65) the retail prices are not that different.
