This concept i gave couple of years ago my relative work in maruti rnd but he was not authorised to take decission .
My simple concept was most electic genested thermal i.e coal gas etc and during distribution 40 % enegry loss so better generate enegy and save on capistor or battery and run car in this way no waste due to break etc and more enery save .

Even then, renowned car companies like Nissan, Honda having very good product range globally, don't bring those products to India. The technology is a good solution for pure electric cars disadvantage of charging problem.Moreover compared to pure internal combustion engine less petrol will be consumed ,when only needs charging the battery.
Thus it will add to pollution control to great extent at the same time battery charging problem will not arise .No need to halt at charging station for hours.
All cars should have this technology for pollution control.Price is more because of dual technology.
Small hatchback cars can have this technology which will save money in long run.

Concept is good, But I think Nissan ko electric charging ka option bhi dena chahiye, Bcus main challenge with electric car is their dependency. Like if we are going for a long trip and we'll charge our vehicle at start point and on the way if charging station is not available so that we can use generator to charge our battery.

However in any normal car the engine directly drives the wheels
