There's a huge amount of planning and work that goes into working your bison, but it's what has to be done. You do not have to justify why you do something, but I realize there are a lot of viewers who want to learn. You are a great teacher. You have come a long way in a short period of time. Keep up the good work. I'm a fan of your family dynamics.

I have been following you from the start Dusty and to see where you are today is just wonderful and so exciting. Seeing Big Joe and Kit reunited is so sweet. Hopefully the ladies all adjust well.

Watching from above as you were trying to cut the bison actually made me laugh out loud! No offense because I’ve never tried doing what you do. But from that vantage point, there were points where it looked like what you were trying to do was the exact opposite of what was going on. I love your videos for any number of reasons, not the least of which is how much you’re teaching us about your life with bison. It’s very intriguing.

So, when the bison have their tails up, does that mean they are apprehensive and putting a warning out for the other bison? It was so cute to hear Brooks say "Come on Big Joe" as you were leading them to the newly transferred bison for an introduction. She is as much a part of your ranch as she can possibly be and it is just darling to see her enthusiasm.

I find it amazing that the Bison are herded with no more than a glorified fly swatter!
Animal behavior is quite fascinating. It was interesting to see how the tails were up on the Big Joe herd at the introduction, but the 3 in the pen mostly were tails down.

Every time you move the bison (don't matter where) my heart rate goes up through the roof, and I am just watching you on my tablet mile's and mile's away, in fact across the pond. So much fun as long as no one gets hurt that is.

Good video. Exciting stuff there. Lots of bookkeeping to track where to funnel heifers to be bred to keep the genetics clean. That new hat is pretty sharp.
Letting the home farm fallow for a season will be so beneficial to the land. Later, you can always set up a finishing operation at the home place, or find another use for it.
Wow, awesome plans, Dusty. I guess because you have only a portion fenced that we really haven't comprehended just how much land you have at that property. Great set up between the two places, so you can maybe store the market bison over at the old Dunbar place ... with all your breeding stock at the Ponderosa.

It's always scary when you move the bison. I have horses, alpacas and chickens. They can hurt you too, but not like those guys. Think you're doing everything right. A suggestion. If Jackie is there to protect the chickens, you could install an invisible fence, maybe an acre around the barn. Then she wouldn't go out in the pasture and she could do the job she was intended. We did 5 acres for the alpacas and chickens. Horses can protect themselves. Enjoy your videos very much.

Dusty love the way you do your videos wo alot of promotions,, advertising etc. It's nice to see when you at the end add in your products of bison jerky etc. Mostly promoting your hard work.You work very hard for all you recieve. So many utubers make half their video showing what they got for promoting some company and don't even really use what they got half the time. Your truly working and promoting what you love not just getting everything you can cause your bored and got a deal on it, then boring us using it for 2 seconds. Thsnk you for keeping it interesting and doing it the right way.
Very interesting how the big herd calmed the three mamas. Thoughtful way to reintroduce them into the herd. Love watching the way these majestic animals act in your farm. Ou have done a lot of training, or husbandry this ranch. Great job! Prayers for your peoples safety in this business. The Lord is good! Also praying for good success this year.
