I never had weight issues in my life. Infact I was seen as a perfect girl and got lots of proposals in school, college. Got married early bcos lot of boys wanted to marry me. So I never thought about people who face such humiliation everyday. But when I became a mother and gained lot of weight, my people started looking at me as a different person. As if I am not a good human being. How I was taking care of my family, kids, my kindness for others,my good behaviour with everyone did not matter to them. All that mattered was that I was an overweight woman who was looked down upon everyday. I am not talking abt my husband. He was there for me always and never said a word for my appearance. That’s my parents, my own family who body shamed me. I wanted to go to my moms place and wanted to eat and enjoy. But I started hiding my feelings. I stopped eating at my moms place bcos I was scared that they might start discussing my extra weight. Then I moved to the US. A total different world. And I realised my self worth. I started wearing what I liked, I was confident and looked beautiful than never before. That’s why I can relate to this video where parents sometimes body Shame their kids so much, not realizing that it is breaking them from within and shaking their confidence.
In our society....this happens at almost every home.Actually we girls are not humans but the product to be rated in stars.Anyways nice video, all the characters did their best.As always hatts off to you aunty.please come with more such awakening videos. Thanks a lot.
@@tanyabisht8969 Off course. Over weight is that thing which one will understand by own and can control it. When you don't understand and keep on gaining weight, somebody has to make you understand the fact . And parents do that. If your health collapses they are the ultimate barer. Its very simple thing. Let's not make it sound like parents are villains like every single time. Especially being in this modern era one should be concerned even before parents point out.
My husband proposed to me 25 years ago because I was very good looking, belonged to a very well educated and good family, and my religious values were in place. After two children and a few pounds, the same husband called me a fat fuck. His words are forever engraved in my memory and heart. If you can't love someone for who they are, please don't bring them in your life.
This is so relatable. Today , suddenly I started searching for contents similar to this . My whole life I have been fat shamed , I still am at times . After a certain point it didn't hurt enough for me to retaliate coz I got used to it (don't know if it's good or plain sad) wherever u go , u always have people staring at you , whispering about you even . Every single person giving u weight loss tips even if u never asked for their 2 cent opinion. Even if someone persuades you into joining a gym n u don't lose weight regardless of your efforts you're still blamed n looked down upon. Derogatory comments always manage to shatter our self confidence that when someone genuinely tries to compliment you all u can think about is that they are pitying you. As much as we say that our thinking had evolved I know it's complete bs coz people still invalidate our feelings if we're sad about someone judging our appearance. Even if I have people who care about me .....at times I have felt so alone all bcoz I'm fat
I have been fascinated by this story, everyone used to call me Moti in school, in family functions. Everyone just used to say, lose a little weight, lose weight, and I had gone into depression due to all this, then I did not give up.And now when I am fit, everyone tells me did you have any disease in childhood? I am ashamed of my society that why these people keep taunting only girls for body shaming?
I'm also overweight and everyone always keeps me telling Walking kar. Exercise kar. Running kar. Weight kam kar. Parents tak thik tha.. relatives bhi bolte hai ye sab 😭😭😭😭😡😡😡😡😡 I'm irritated and frustrated now. Each and every day my parents keep telling me. You have to do excercise, u have to loose weight 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😫😟😕😥😭😭😫😟😕.

@@walihasan7368 I was overweight all my childhood because of the genetics from my father side, everyday when my mother used to take me out for exercising, all the so called aunties of our village used to comment on me, and laugh too. Every relative, friend or a person I knew , commented on me. I used to feel really bad, and at some point at that time, I lost my smile and got in depression. But after puberty, my mother's genetics kicked in and I got skinny, ( during lockdown, I am a teenager) and somehow the same people refuse to believe that I got skinny and made comments on me being skinny. I have again started gaining weight but who cares? I love myself the way I am ( ◜‿◝ )♡

My so called my friend, commented and shamed me for body shape and skin color. I often used to take it to my heart. My other friends were ok and looked at my good qualities I possesed and asked me to work on it and things started falling in places.
A very nice concept. A true one. It is true for all - fat, thin, fair, dark n the list goes on. I myself am on the plump side and boys have rejected me because I am fat. Liked the concept very much. Keep up the good work Life Tak 👍🏼
Lovely vedio. I am always overweight. Still i am. But i am lucky that i met a guy on internet back in 2007 who was only interested in me as a person inside not how i look outside. We dated without seeing each other for 6 years. We got married in year 2013 and spending my life happily with those extra kilos which i need to shed for my health but not to please anyone. My hubby daily says u are so beautiful and it gives me the confidence to face the brutal society. I wish every girl gets right partner to share her life 😀
Yes.. It's true... But zyada bura tab lagta hai when it comes from your own family. Har kisi ki apni identity and personality hoti hai.. Yeh cheez kabhi parents bhool jaate hai
Love the way the #LifeTak team tries to highlight social taboos, like in this clip. Body-shaming is very common and needs to stop. Value people for what they are as individuals. If you are not a good human being, it doesn't matter whatever else you are good at.
My mom was very fit before she gave birth to me and my brother and I hear my father always say to her that she is fat, I am slowly driving into depression because my parents relation is breaking each day 😭😭😭
This is actually based on my story. I am a chubby girl but every guy rejects me. All my relatives even my parents are saying to lose weight. Its not that I am not willing to reduce some but I am trying. Why everybody is only concerned about body and not heart? Does it mean If i am Fat I am not well behaved girl or I am lacking in something? Why doesn't society accept plus sized girls? No one has ever been in love at first sight with plus sized girls.
I am glad these sisters are looking out for one another. Usually, what happens in cases such as the one shown here is, it would result in a lifelong animosity, because one of them is gifted with great looks, and is placed a top of a pedestal, while the other is made to feel as though she isn’t the happy accident of her parents. These grudges, if left unchecked, can result in serious adulthood tragedies.
i am overweight too and i am now 18 years old and going through a treatment for depression beacaus i am fat....my family memebers felt me like that i can't do anything in life and my self confidence is very low and people of my age bully me a lot .....sometimes i feel sooo sad and lonely...now thanks to my therapists and my two best friends i am trying to loose weight not for any one but my health...(as obesity cause many problems)...people bully me and say i will never have a boy friend but actually in reality i love to stay single.....so if you consider yourself beautiful then no one can steal that from you.....this video is so muucchhh relatable to me . well i am fat but i am beautiful than all the students who makes fun of me because i am fat.....just accept youself the way you are.....loved the concept of this video
When I had to meet the guy for the first time everyone was reminding be how to behave so that he likes me….it was the evening before I had to go and meet him and I spoke to my best friend about how nervous I was and she was the first person to tell me forget what he thinks of u…focus on the fact that will u like him or not…and I was so damn surprised that y didn’t I think of that ..it is supposed to be my choice…m a doctor for gods sake …y am I so nervous just because m fat!!!🤦🏻♀️… fyi..that guy is my husband now…
I went through this my whole life ☹️ it exists in every country. Wish you guys would have extended the episode to show that the guy would be willing to marry her.
The color of my skin The shape and size of my body is none of your concern What to wear and what not to What to do and what not to What’s perfect and what’s imperfect What’s beautiful and what’s ugly Sorry you can’t decide it for me So if you think you can put me down By comparing me to others Then you need to grow up Coz everyone is unique If you think you can hurt me By your nasty comments Then, let me tell you, I’ve blocked them from my mind And heart long time back If you think you can ridicule me By laughing at my flaws Then, go ahead and laugh, But first, look at yours If you think you can stop me from Being me by your unsolicited advice Then keep trying, but I won’t change So don’t give stress to your little brain And if you think you can break my Confidence into pieces By playing the game of body-shame Then you must know, for me Imperfection is the perfection’s new name And if you think you gonna stop me With all your bullshit Then sorry to disappoint, you won’t succeed Coz I don’t give a damn what you think about me I’m going with my flaws flawlessly (By Homebody RJB)
Yes just keep working on improving yourself and develop good moralities and virtues of life. How you look is not something that's matter but how you are is the big ❓ which everybody highlights ❤️
Yes this type of humiliation I felt Everyday from my parents from my friends they suggest me to loose some weight they were like u will loose weight u look more pretty than this I feel so insulted and my self confident break within a second , even my ex-boyfriend also broked up with me because I am fat he thinks that her partner looks beautiful infront of society whom he can Introduce with a proudly so I can relate this insulation , each and every person have right to live with acception no one has right to make them feel that you are not perfect for so called "physical appearance* defination
Hang on and stay strong sweetheart. Firstly thank ur stars that u are no longer with a man who is so shallow. And remember it is very important to love yourself and ur body as it is. People will say stuff all the time…for everything. Today its ur weight, tomorrow it will be ur fashion and hairstyle choices, that ur are too independent or too dependent, ur career choices or choosing not work, u choosing to have children or choosing not to have children. Everything a woman does, every step we take, every decision we make is judged by bystanders because it is very easy to judge and pass remarks. So since we are going to be judged no matter what, its best we stop caring about those judgements and live + love ourselves. Love urself, take care of ur mind and body, make sure ur body is healthy. If u want to shed off weight, do it for urself and not because people are judging u. Do things that make u happy. All the best. ❤️❤️ Fyi I have been in ur boat except my parents were not so harsh on me. Im still ‘fat’ but my husband loves me and we don’t care what the world says
Thank God he is your ex... What a cheap thinking of showing you to the society and world like you are a trophy he won... Next he will say that you don't look like before when you get slim... It's all about shittyy mindset... Live your life fully
You should only lose weight if u feel u want to bring a change in ur self and u wana be healthy not to impress ppl! And ppl too shouldn’t worry about ppls weight, I mean it’s not like heavy weight ppl walk on their shoulders!
Social media par har koi iss concept ko nice, awesome bolte hai...But real mai bahut kam log aise life partner ko apni life ka hissa bana na chahte hai...Everyone struggling with their own problems help them not mock them...Always try to be reason for someone's smile not the reason of their tears😍🙏
I can relate with dis as I gone through it my whole life,i am a Man and as a man we also face bodyshaming very much by opposite gender but only woman side comes out, that's very disappointing
You should only lose weight if u feel u want to bring a change in ur self and u wana be healthy not to impress ppl! And ppl too shouldn’t mind worry about ppls weight, I mean it’s not like heavy weight ppl walk on their shoulders!
See ,they can't understand that how much they are trying and also someone who have been plus size because of some kind of disease but people don't want to understand about that ... I'm not saying that don't do exersise I'm just saying that don't give too pressure while doing exercise on the beginning do gradually and if you have any problem while doing this u may take rest because if you give too much pressure ur condition will get worse and u don't have to skip food.. just try to do a balance diet for eg u eat less rice that but more vegetables and dal then and u can eat snacks sometimes if u like but don't skip food . And yes love yorself and don't care about what people are saying because u born beautiful .
Mind-blowing concept & You three potrait this amazingly....We can't stop society to jugde us.. but we can make ourselves so strong that nobody can point on us....We need to be healthy , but not let anybody body shame you...& if they does just ignore them...bhaad mein jaye who judge us...God made us beautiful in our own way... ...
This reminds me of this one time when I was back in India at my mom's house, I was just lying down trying to get a nap, when my nani suddenly comes in and comments about how fat and unflattering I looked in that position and that nobody would marry me in the future if I don't lose weight, I WAS 14 when she told me this.
The physical appearance of both men and women matters all over the world and in all walks of life. It matters at work, for marriage, social relationships, home, school, etc.
True! No matter even if you’re the DM of the city, you will still be judged on looks especially body shaming. On the contrary, no one cares whether the guy is fat, bald, etc etc. they escape the degree of humiliation if they’re successful. 😒

I am definitely one of those who will fall under fat category But I never got any such things from my family and luckily neither did my partner who fell in love with me and my personality Happily married
I am also fat and when my parents were looking for my life partner, pnr of our relative said that if my father gives lot of dowry then only one will marry me..But Allah answered my prayers and I got my partner who is very loving and caring and he didn't even get a single penny as dowry..All thanks to Allah
Real pain comes from what is now programmed in our minds.. By family, relatives and society... It is taught that beautiful girls should be slim.. Fair.. Soft and fragile.. And boys should be tough.. Which makes ONESELF to feel they are not enough.. They are upto that so called " Perfect"look.. And sadly.. No matter how many such inspirational videos pop up.. Somewhere we will end up with that typical mentality!
I have experienced this all. But luckily my parents don't force me as shown in this video. But other relatives interfere. My only wish was to be with someone who accepts me as I am without any change. I will only lose weight to have good health not to be in good looks for someone. Finally got my man ☺️
Here's my story- Am fat from very beginning. Am always a fat child. Now days i trying to loose weight, because I have irregular period. Two days earlier me & my friends went to one of my friend's house. We eat food. Then suddenly my friend's mom said "Loose some weight, eat less ( I literally eat less). nowadays boys don't like fat girls. They only like slim or skinny girls." I was shattered. I was just "eating" my food, which was prepared by her. She was the one who invited us. From that day again I started feel fat. I can't explain my feelings to anyone, how I was feel that time.. I can't even imagine the situation. (English is not my first language)
Dear biasho, it is not fair that you had to hear that from her. it was not just insensitive but wrong at all levels to talk to you like that. Just remember with her personality being wrong here we can conclude that her beliefs are also wrong or can't hold any value. There is nothing wrong with you but only her thinking. Only if she knew "have some sense, nowadays people don't like insensitive people with stupid ideas. They only respect people who are good to other". And remember as long as we don't end up with her thoughts we are worthful human beings :) salam and duas to you.
Don't allow other insult to you..aapko auntie ko reply karna chaye tha .aapne acha food banaye hai thanks for this mera fatty hona meri identity nhi hai aur wahan se alag chale jana chaye tha..saamne wale ko apni galti khud realise hogi..don't feel inferior believe in yourself
Next time somebody calls you fat, tell them you're eating your own father's food and not theirs..so your weight is none of their business .. and on a serious note, being healthy is more important than being underweight.. I am a Physiotherapist, I always tell my patients to be fit rather than lose weight in unhealthy manner. Forget asthetics and unrealistic beauty standards. Focus on being fit, healthy and presentable ❤️
The only point is ki we should work out and eat healthy for us and not for how the society will treat us or noone will find us beautiful ❤️ We want to be fit so to stay away from diseases and lead a healthy life I dont want to lose weight because I wanna fit in a pair of jeans or I want boys to get attracted to me Her mother was right when she was asking her to eat healthy but... As soon she attached the "ladke moti ladki pasand nhi karte " statement ,the whole topic changed !!
Today i was bullied by my classmate because of my height (5'6) and weight. So i searched for motivational videos😔 and i found this video, and now i am feeling confident in myself❤ thanks a lot 😊
Really touching video. I have been facing this since my childhood from my own mother. May be she is right she wants her daughter to be beautiful n not let others comment on her body but the parents way of dealing it is not right. They have to do things smoothly especially with children and teens. It’s a delicate age where they don’t understand and buildup all these pressure and loose their self confidence.
A boy had said "pakode jaisi naak" for my nose. I think the image formed in an average head for life partner is only physical, not mental, emotional, intellectual or behavioural. We should learn to search happiness within ourselves and good people around us, they also exist.
well said. As we grow and mature we realize the physical looks is only a fraction of personality. And that comment on nose must have really hurt at that time.
The message of the story is really good.👌But one must maintain weight (not for others) but to prevent oneself from lifestyle disorders. There is no harm in Medical consultation if you are really concerned about ur own fitness.🙏
This is so real for me. I'm obese and there's not even a single day, when I've not been told how many calories I'm in taking. Feeling so bad. But, this is an actual struggle on daily basis.

True I agree even sad part when our own parents disturb us make us sad for that faltu idiots boys wale self respect n emotions ki death
Your husband is 🤑🤑🤑
May Allah paak never forgive him for his words
You should leave him if he can’t accept you the way you are. Sorry but he’s a horrible person
Still now he is calling u?? But u love urself, let him say like that. One day he ll realize his mistake
He doesn’t deserves YOU
This is so relatable.
I'm also overweight and everyone always keeps me telling
Walking kar.
Exercise kar.
Running kar.
Weight kam kar.
Parents tak thik tha.. relatives bhi bolte hai ye sab 😭😭😭😭😡😡😡😡😡
I'm irritated and frustrated now.

I was 80 kg when I was in 12th standard....alot of people body shamed me including my parents....but I realised my parents always say that becoz of my health reasons...then I started loosing weight and now I am 60 kg ....still some people think I am lil bit chubby.....u can't change the society.....so be happy ....and if you want to loose weight for urself and for ur health ....then go for it ....but do it for yourself ...not for other.
I wish every girl gets right partner to share her life 😀
Yours is a really touching story.
You are so blessed dii ❤
They are more concerned about your heart than anyone else that's why they are telling you to lose weight
evolution things ,,, aur tum chubby nhi charbi wali ladki kahte hai ...
Lucky to have someone who accepted me for who I am and when I gained weight instead of blaming helped me to loose . And loves every inch of mine. 😇🥰
Lovely concept. The three of them have made it so better so relatable.

Yeah fitness is important for health not only for figure , concentrate on your health rather than anything as health is wealth 😊😊
The color of my skin
The shape and size of my body
is none of your concern
What to wear and what not to
What to do and what not to
What’s perfect and what’s imperfect
What’s beautiful and what’s ugly
Sorry you can’t decide it for me
So if you think you can put me down
By comparing me to others
Then you need to grow up
Coz everyone is unique
If you think you can hurt me
By your nasty comments
Then, let me tell you,
I’ve blocked them from my mind
And heart long time back
If you think you can ridicule me
By laughing at my flaws
Then, go ahead and laugh,
But first, look at yours
If you think you can stop me from
Being me by your unsolicited advice
Then keep trying, but I won’t change
So don’t give stress to your little brain
And if you think you can break my
Confidence into pieces
By playing the game of body-shame
Then you must know, for me
Imperfection is the perfection’s new name
And if you think you gonna stop me
With all your bullshit
Then sorry to disappoint, you won’t succeed
Coz I don’t give a damn what you think about me
I’m going with my flaws flawlessly

Fyi I have been in ur boat except my parents were not so harsh on me. Im still ‘fat’ but my husband loves me and we don’t care what the world says

This reminds me of this one time when I was back in India at my mom's house, I was just lying down trying to get a nap, when my nani suddenly comes in and comments about how fat and unflattering I looked in that position and that nobody would marry me in the future if I don't lose weight, I WAS 14 when she told me this.
Yes I also agree that spiritual beauty is more valuable than physical beauty 🙂🙂🙂

True... very true.... overweight people face this humiliation daily .... good one
I have experienced this all. But luckily my parents don't force me as shown in this video. But other relatives interfere. My only wish was to be with someone who accepts me as I am without any change. I will only lose weight to have good health not to be in good looks for someone. Finally got my man ☺️
As always Nice Concept.... Mind blowing acting..
Here's my story-
Am fat from very beginning.

I just don't understand the standards that society has set
Like it's wrong to define beauty as a skinny body and fair skin
Beauty is skin deep!
All videos of life tak is best i always watch every videos..love it
The only point is ki we should work out and eat healthy for us and not for how the society will treat us or noone will find us beautiful ❤️
We want to be fit so to stay away from diseases and lead a healthy life
I dont want to lose weight because I wanna fit in a pair of jeans or I want boys to get attracted to me
Her mother was right when she was asking her to eat healthy but...

Very important message conveyed 😊 good work team, way to go

"Breakfast karne do na usko aram se." Yes, breakfast should be like a king 👍👍
A boy had said "pakode jaisi naak" for my nose. I think the image formed in an average head for life partner is only physical, not mental, emotional, intellectual or behavioural. We should learn to search happiness within ourselves and good people around us, they also exist.
well said. As we grow and mature we realize the physical looks is only a fraction of personality. And that comment on nose must have really hurt at that time.
