- Premiere Pro Export Settings 🎞️
Here are the settings you can use to export high-quality short form videos using Premiere Pro.
I use these for all of my short form vertical content.
For the format I use H.264
My frame size is 1080 X 1920 to match the sequence.
I use 25 FPS personally but I know some platforms recommend a minimum of 30 FPS. I haven't noticed much difference when it converts to be honest.
I check render at maximum depth and use maximum render quality
And I use VRB 2-Pass with a target bit rate of 20 Mbps and a maximum bit rate of 24 Mbps as I often use a variety of different clips in my videos.
Finally, I make sure to burn in the captions that I've added.

Thank you, for rendering at wrong settings so was not uploading on RUclips and Instagram, now with these settings all files are uploading, thank you😊
Thank you so much I watched over 13 tutorials, and you were the only one that helped me😁
I'm pleased to hear that the video was useful! 😀
What’s the best Bitrate for 1080 - 60fps ?
@@jaykfishburnit depends on the plataform and the input bitrate.
finally a simple and straightforward tutorial, thank you mate
Thank you so much that was helpful
You'll have subscribers in no time. Keep up the good work
Thank you so much for the support!
does it also true to maintain and upload origional audio quality?please reply
Thank you
Thank u ! Works for me after 1000 tutorials!
Do you use Ai for your eyes? Like telepromter or something?
is this good for ig stories as well?
The videos are still getting compressed, not working
I personally do the following after many trial and errors:
H.264 codec
1080x1920 Resolution
30MBPS CBR (not VBR)
30fps (even if the content is 24).
Hope this helps
@@reelFUTUREdo you record in 60 fps or 30 fps? I saw some reels on instagram that are actually so smooth like 60 fps
Wt is difference 10 bit /20bit?, which better for1080????
I also want to know
bro straight up looks like AI
If you want to wait 2 days for your footage to render use these settings 😂
Also for Facebook ?
tiktok have limit on bitrate so this is too much
I haven't experienced any issue and this is what I use all the time. I use the same settings with every short form platform, there probably is some compression added but that's unavoidable wherever you upload.
I understand that all platforms compress whatever you upload because what you said. So it sounds better to upload in best formats and lose less due compressions.
I've been using this since a few weeks ago and IT IS the MOST helpful tip I've ever gotten for reels after months of frustrations with IG not accepting other apps' rendering. Thank you so much cheers!
That's really good to hear! I'm glad this was able to help
Lol nothing news, thats kind of default render settings :D Where did the 20 and 24 Mbps values for FHD and REELS come from?
A source or reference as to why you choose those bitrate settings would support your reasoning.
I do not have the custom option in the preset and can't find the frame size 1080 x 1920 either. help please
When I burn the captions they look weird at the final result
Why my vidoe is now bloking in frames ?!
Thank you sir
Love this, you got me to subscribe to your channel. ❤
My clips keep changing the width to 608. Any suggestions how i can fix this?
Whats the program
that lighting makes you look maniacal
It's that under key you can see the highlight in his eyes. like lighting yourself with a flashlight from below your face. Great video though man!
Why vbr 2 and not 1..yet you're exporting a short video reel?? .. Just curious😢
When i converted it the way you said there is just a lot of frame drops, video became choppy and slower ( converted 4k 60 fps to 1080 30 fps ) what should i do to reduce the frame drops and chopps?
App

Us using smartphones what do we use 🤔
Hello Sir, if I am shooting in 4k, should i edit in 4k and export to 1080p or should I edit in 1080p frame by down scale the 4k footage? For good quality. I'm confused.
So I shoot in 4k and edit on a 1080p sequence. This allows me to scale and reframe my footage on the timeline, without losing quality.
What app ? compress @@danielgrindrod
Thank you so much, mate. this is very helpful.
Thank you! Best settings!
Don't you set the audio part separately? If you upload it to Reels, the audio is different from the audio exported by Premier.
this will export to .mp3 and .mp3 files are not supported on iPhone, so we can't transfer the video to iPhone to upload shorts. Only reason to upload from phone is to select the thumbnail, nothing else
it'll export to .mp4 and it's definitely supported on iPhone
Subscribed ! I use this for every video on instagram! QUICK QUESTION, so can I export the edited video to my iCloud then upload from my iPhone to instagram with the same quality? I ask because if that works I’ll be able to easily add audio from the app itself instead of having to download audio another way that’s time consuming. Thank you in advance !
What about the mic you are holding ? What is it
thnaks
bit rate is way too high, use CBR 12
Is this same apply for Iphone quality? And is there difference in between NTSC OR PAL?
I see some people saying VBR 1 ans bitrate 7
So insta don't compress the quality 🫣
You tell bro
Hi there - the reason he is using PAL is because that is the TV Standard in the UK and other European nations, the Americas use NTSC. He uses 25 FPS for the same reason - most british and european media is rendered in 25FPS for their standard. For the purposes of a social media reel - you probably wont perceptibly notice a difference between NTSC/PAL or 25 vs an American satandard such as 23.98 or 24FPS. When in doubt - just match your sequence settings on output for frame rate.
But the size of the video is too much. What do i do?
Media encoder?😅
Which premiere version you are using?
Perfect! This worked for me too! Thanks a lot!
This work for tiktok?
Tha's great to her, thanks for watching! 😀
@@sanjaysthh Yes this is what I use =]
Nope, this definitely didn’t work for instagram reels
You must have done something different as this is what I use every time.
Nothing change
BROOO THANKSSS
Is it also good for facebook reels?
Yes absolutely, I use the same for all of my short form videos
Works for me!!!
App link ?
thank you so much!

u r .........
Thank youuuuuuu 😩🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿
do you record in 24 fps or 30 fps?
You can record in 24 but when exporting for instagram, export at 30 (currently Instagram’s minimum fps requirement). Anything below will force the video into “mis-interpolated” frames
Thanks, it was great 👌👍
Thanks 👍
Thank you for this!
you saved my work, I hope the double for your
If you want to post it on your iPhone afterwards, it won’t work. iPhone can’t save the mp4 properly
I use an iPhone. You can just airdrop the file from your Mac straight to your phone and it works fine. If you're using Windows, you can use Google Drive or something similar.
