It definitely lacked the grit and particulate that would be prevalent in REAL mud. Also it's quite common for a real mud puddle to be half-dry, half-wet, where the dry part has large chunks that are completely dry and gritty and crumbly, and large chunks that are semi-wet and squishy.
AKlover I don't know if that's necessarily true. There are indeed apartment is actually excellent. They've been cranking out some pretty good designs, from the MCX and MPX, to the P320, to the p365. The problem is actually in their corporate structure, their quality control, and their rush to market. They're so quick to sell things, and get in every last cent, that they're unwilling to take the necessary time to smooth out all the issues, and instead passed the problems on to the customer. This shouldn't be surprising, considering that their CEO Ron Cohen, was formerly the CEO of Kimber, where he did essentially the same thing. Took a company that was pretty well known for its quality, and completely fucked it up. and ironically, it's entirely unnecessary considering that Sig has already plenty of proven designs that we're selling quite well. It seems that they took short-term gain over long-term viability, since they have seriously damaged the reputation of their brand. It seems like they're going the Harley-Davidson Route when they're going to have 10 years of increased sales, but a decade down the line they're going to be in trouble because no one is going to consider them to be high-quality anymore. It's a real shame, considering that the old metal frame Sig guns were like hand fitted clocks
It did not have drop issues. It also did not have a massive recall. ALL strike fire pistols will go off if drop at the right angle. That includes Glocks. Sig offered an upgrade if people wanted it. All guns have issues. Sig just decided to be proactive over a common flaw in strike fires. I handle a lot of Sigs and the only issues is trigger related. the furniture is as good as anyone else's. We sell many brands and I handle them all.
The P320 was not recalled fool. If the officer shot himself he was not following the 4 rules of firearm safety. The MCX was new like many new firearms there can be recalls. I have a 1st gen mcx and a rattler in 300blk and they both run flawlessly. My only complaint is that the triggers were garbage (for that price point). Got a Geisselle mcx trigger on sale and it's night and day. Looking to acquire a 16" 5.56 virtus upper to swap in and out next. The last 4 guns I've purchased are sigs including a mpx and a 516p and I would trust my life to them all. I don't dive in and out of mud but I run em hard
