Another great video! I totally agree - leaving the chase out was a good call. I live in a heavily collected area, so I’m curious to see how this impacts collector habits. Absolutely love the Mustang and Maverick! My son and I loved the races. I cracked up when the FNF Mustang fell right out of the loop 😂 super heavy like the original 1:1. The 302 Mustang is one of my favourites. I have the spectra flame blue RLC release which is stunning. Also the super treasure hunt and pink party car versions deserve a special mention.
Woah! Yeah I think I remember that one. It’s cool when Mattel add branding to the tires. I can’t remember if that one has opening doors / hood feature? Shame the mustang won’t go round the loop. No matter how many times I tried. I have tested 100s now and that’s the first one that I couldn’t get to complete the drag race. Hope you’re doing great today mate. The Ford Maverick is my favorite. I've been collecting hot wheels for two years, and I've got a pretty damn good collection. I've got supers Treasure Hunts zamacs, Exclusives Premiums premium transports premium set of 4 rlcs ive always been fascinated by cars I plan to finish my story by finding every soup and every treasure hunt for 2024.

I don't think I'm ever gonna find the Chase Camaro BUT I found the Mix 2 just yesterday when you posted the video! How convinient is that? 😂
I didn't like the Mix 2 that much and didn't like the models, but I was hoping to grab only ONE if it was metal on metal (I really love getting metal/metal for just 4 bucks here). So I grabbed them all and found the yellow Mustang had indeed the only metal/metal of all the set. Grabbed it yesterday and I'm in love!

@@customcollects I also believe the Maverick is the best one, I just don't super love it so I preferred grabbing a metal on metal since I believe they're very fast on downhill races (without loops lol). I found it at a Carrefour.

WHAT? I cannot believe the metal/metal was the slowest there... Maybe the front splitter was an issue on the loop? I believe so
Yes mate! 1000% that front splitter is the issue and the mustang boss is the first premium casting I’ve tested out of 100s that won’t make it round the loop. I’m sure if I tried 20 times I would get lucky and it would scrape its way round. But yeah. The VRC mustang also suffers from the same issue sadly. I really like that the Lamborghini can crush the corvette though. That was super fun to watch! Really pleased you enjoyed the race. Thanks so much for the support 🚗💨

What upsets me is that I am having trouble making my videos look professional.
I had no issue four years ago, but had all my equipment "disappear". And I'm struggling to make everything I've got now work properly. And all i have for cameras right now are a couple of 4k phones.
I am aware this is not the forum for this, but I need tips and somewhere to find them.
I do drone videos with no issue.
I use DaVinci pro for editing and colouring. I have a smooth4 gimbal for my phones. I have a few different mics, but i find some of them sound like I'm talking into a tin cup in a tube.
I know keeping it simple, just using the phone and its built in mic and a tripod is just fine. But i miss making things a little more slick with flags and picture in picture etc.

It takes me MANY MANY HOURS to make one of my videos and I can tell you now that there is no magic wand or shortcuts. It is a lot of very hard work and takes me a lot of time to make a video that I think is good enough. i urge you all to search the history of the camaro open hood models, they have a huge history and following, and they stopped the opening hood...........until now. sweeeet!
Yes 100%! It’s so great to have opening hoods back on the menu for cars outside of the RLC realm. The VRC Camaro is a very nice casting for its price level for sure. There are loads of historic retooling examples that hot wheels have implemented over the years and decades that are really fascinating to learn about. Mattel messed up when they didn’t sell a support for multi lane loops. I think the results would be different if you made a square arch that would attach to the loop tops via a standard track clip that’s attached to the square arch top. Then, if you fix the two mounts, all the momentum from gravity would be used by the cars hitting a stiff loop. Of course, you have to flip up any spoilers fantasy cars might have. Then I would put a little dry racing graphite on each axle and work it by running a few races. You’ll find the races will be faster and the finish gaps wider.
This is a really great idea! Hello. How are you today? Appreciate this great insight a lot my friend. When I built my track I knew I had to use the loops without the split in the track pieces as the part where the track joins together would create a huge problem for any cars with massive font splitters / lips. I’m not doing too badly so far with what I have created. The elevation is enough that so far to date only that Ford mustang boss 302 premium is unable to complete a race. I’ve also heard from another collector about using grease / oils. Perhaps it was you. Sorry if I forgot. I also like this idea but also think that races using cars as they are created by Mattel is where the fun in racing them lies personally for me. At the moment my races are slowed down A LOT in editing and in the future I hope I can buy a better and more HD slow motion camera to capture the races. Any faster and you would just watch a pure blur and you can forget about zooming in too. It’s funny right! All of the considerations and things you have to account for when creating Diecast racing videos. But please know that you have a lot of great engineering ideas and I think you’re on to something with the supports for loops. It would be very interesting to hear what the design team for track sets would have to say about your ideas. Wish you a great day mate. Appreciate the support very much. Cheers to you 🚗💨

Nice one! I always find that the majority of Diecast collectors have interesting and skilled jobs too. To appreciate the finer details in Diecast design you must have a deep passion for how things work and best practices in manufacturing. Although I do love to see a child simply slamming a hot wheels around and playing with it without a care in the world. With all this said. This hobby has lots of ways that you can enjoy it. @@customcollects Check out DXP Diecast Racing’s timer setup and weight classes. He’s got a gradual descent, but a LiDAR based timer. What most people don’t realize is these casting weights vary and impact the times. He weighs every car and then groups them in order of speed in transparent wall cases. With all the licensed mainlines and most Silvers gone plastic base, he races a lot of classics (through 2005). I collect these Spectraflame models and they are gorgeous. They all have metal bases and are faster than anything!
Congratulations on a GREAT set! 2000GT in red/gold Iron Man colors for me. They chopped the top off for Sean Connery in the GREAT BOND film You only live twice.

You guys are super super lucky to have Vintage Racing Club in stores. I really need to visit Australia in general! Beautiful country. I got so lucky with mix 1. An online retailer dropped that they had all 6 cars on their Instagram and I just really wanted the BMW lol. I can’t believe the Porsche is a peg warmer or the BMW. That’s so so sad. Did you the other 5 cars from Mix 1? Will you pick up this set too?
I love the white 62 Corvette, but my favorites are the 2007-2013 Spectraflame Ice Blue, Spectraflame Pink, and Spectraflame Teal Classics versions that, all with ZAMAC bases!
Very great choices and all are proper hot wheels classics 👍 I really like the “modern” feel to the cars with new wheel designs and modern manufacturing techniques that makes “vintage” racing club feel very 2024 for a hot wheels product. I’m also very pleased that the 62 corvette was the fastest in mix 2! Very well deserved too

Ok, so I like Maverick and Mustang, might end-up getting those(most likely only Maverick and do a wheel swap). BTW I did look up some premiums on Amazon JP, most prices are preety much the same as in Poland thanks to around $30 shipping, so I'd have to order A LOT of premiums to make sure I saved some cash :D And to my surprise, even Amazon Japan didn't have the Porsche 964 I'm after 😭

No 6th chase car this time I’m afraid. Which is one of the main reasons I wanted to make this video. I like all 5 but it’s very random to just drop a really cool idea for the silver series products after only doing it once. But hey! Like I said. Makes it easier to collect all 5 and complete the set. Haha! From being a collector and a MASSIVE car guy too dude. As you can tell by all of my videos I’m obsessed by facts and prices and things like that so I’m forever consuming Hot Wheels knowledge and facts and info on a daily basis. It’s kind of you then to say this and I am pleased that you think I have some kind of hack into accessing secret information. I just love Hot wheels bro. You better believe I’m the guy who studies the back of the packaging and goes home to compare cars to each other. Hot wheels is life 🙌 🔥
You paid a lot of money and you destroy the cards just take a razor knife and cut the bottom of the bubble and down two sides flip the bubble up and you still have a card for a protector pack

If I used a knife then you don’t get to hear that satisfying pop sound and I’m a collector of hot wheels Diecast models, I have little interest in the packaging as I have way too many cars. I understand that every collector is different and there is no one single way to collect hot wheels. That’s the really fun part! You make your collection personal to you. Everyone never opening them are not collectors they are investors. It’s also very unlikely that the vintage racing club series will ever be in store here in the UK and I like these castings from this release a lot. Also, if you think £25 - £30 for a set of 5 cars is expensive you should see what the house prices are like in the UK 😂 😭 we pay £9 / $11 for one premium car here in the UK. I don't go to Anchoragua very much at All ~ I did go 1 time this year for HEALTH Reasons , which I went to one STORE location a WALMART they had 2 of the Cars HANGIN'on Pegs [ I bought Vintage Racing Dec/Jan [ me OPEN Free'D Images Date[ 24-01-26 Not sure if that's close to when I got them or TIME after Arriving in possession. ALASKA no longer has 7-11 locations for about 24/26 years now 7-11 70's-97/2001] > TESORO [switched OVERS 97-2001[97-2023] > Speedway ['23-PRESENT ] I bought mix 1 MON NITE all 6 cars W/camaro x2 each [[ I all ready have ?8-12 each of the PORSCHE, MERCEDES, BMW + MUIRA Vette only got ? 3-5 [[ think these was purchased from J-car diecast ] online • mix 1 for Me is a PRIME liked assortment with 1/2 being of Deutsche cars and a Italian Lamborghini Muira 👍🏾🩷🩵👍🏾 ÷÷ Keep up the K👀L vidz • Have a WoNdErFuL Day, col'pop ~ coldpopcarl ~ coldpopcarlsvws

Thankx , I bought x2 Complete sets of mix 1 , even though I didn't really need the WHOLE set but Price of 6 cars (12 at x2 each ] IT was just a few more $ or even LESS for all 6 to get the other 5 + CAMARO compared to Asking price(s) on just CAMARO by its self And Maybe I will get MASSIVE SWINGS or Error on The PORSCHE Mercedes Benz , BMW ~~ I Also bought mix 2 x2sets ( even though that MIX isn't usually A ASSORTMENT of castings I Would Usually BUY complete set - cheers , col'pop ~
