Just by coincidence you caught me in a reflective mood with this one! Love this duo. Their catalogue was so much more than "that song." D. Ball was every bit the musical genius Prince is credited with being and M. Almond was a born storyteller with a proverbial "razor sharp" wit. Have you ever heard the two collections of early songs, The Bedsit Tapes 2005 and Non-Stop Demo 2006? Alot of great material, especially Almond's writing and vocal inflections.
Great comments. I have heard the early demos and thought perhaps I would have a look at those one day if the vocal extraction is of a good enough quality - sometimes with old demos the vocals can't be extracted easily due to how they have been recorded. I am working on "Martin" right now and will probably upload it soon...thanks for listening
Very very special and one of the two's many masterpieces. Soft Cell are often reduced to two or three songs, which doesn't do their "life's work" justice at all. An absolute highlight in the eighties club scene is "Martin", the dance floor was full of lovely people, the air was burning and the song still makes my heart race to this day! klaus your interpretation gives me a very warm and comfortable feeling, a kind of arrival at home and creates tons of memories. Once again you managed to brighten my day, thank you and greetings 💖🖤🍷
@@KDEADS That's really energetic Klaus and the increase in the song, from the beginning, indescribable.. It's unbelievable all the synth music that was played back then, even though it depended on the city .. perfect time ✨️🖤🍷
Another great choice for a remix klaus in my opinion one of soft cells better a tracks a great romantic ballad with electronic riffs …. A superb tune which you have lifted to another level with your remix great post klaus 👍👌📻🍻🙏🏴🤘🎧😎❤️🇬🇧🍺
