I might actually try to get out for this event 👀 I used to live on the Jersey side near Bethlehem! It would be my first time playing proper if so, but I've been considering making my way out sometime!
for tyler and brandon's tournament, for proxy friendly, does that mean I could literally print my cards on regular paper and glue them to bulk cards , or do I need nice proxies? I'm in VA and might be interested in driving up there
Jeez what a crazy amount of counter magic. Also like the yuriko deck tech with some of those cards, obviously going for more of a burn strategy then most list I feel like
I played on spelltable with someone who had a P2W playmat and he got love from myself and the other 2 players in the pod. I think that makes you guys famous!
Are proxoiies allowed? I don't wasnna bring my expensive cards do I proxy only what I own. Asking because I live like 3 hours North of NYC so it'd be like 4 hours from Bethe.
"Proxy Policy This event is fully proxy friendly. Players will need “test cards” in color and with clearly printed names, mana cost and rules of the cards. MDFC can be used and will require full text, mana cost and names. MDFC placeholders are limited to 20 cards per player. Printed paper in front of magic cards or card names printed on the backs of cards will not be permitted." Given Play to Win's general attitude, constant use of proxies in videos and outright statements on their feelings about proxies; they do not care one bit if you own the cards you proxie.
17:38 Cam should kill his own devoted druid in response to the rollick with its untap ability when he knows it’s gonna resolve. Leaves hazel’s brewmaster as a live draw.
"You may have Mockingbird enter as a copy of any creature on the battlefield with mana value less than or equal to *the amount of mana spent to cast Mockingbird*"
Just a small thing but Jacob should’ve had to sac one Yuriko due to the legend rule when he copied it with Mockingbird. It didn’t matter at all but I just noticed
This game was sloppy to say the least. Misty fetching Badlands, drawing for turn when you have a Necropotence in play, attacking with Tetsuko Umezawa the same turn you cast him, LED randomly going from Cam's board to graveyard, and I'm seeing some other things in the comments as well. This is a super rough game to watch.
it was... almost unbelievable how even at the end Jacob had this many perfectly drawn counter spells again and again. No idea how lucky the draws had to be to redraw commandeer, mindreak trap and other... 3 counterspells? But not flip them through Yuriko? After Mindwister? If this happened over a regular Spelltable game I'd be thinking that person is cheating tbh. I know it wouldn't be the case here but omg, it really felt like it
Question on Mockingbird copying Yuriko. I thought that the legendary rule would apply at first, but Mockingbird makes the copy also have the bird type. Since this means they are not exact copies of each other, one of them being a bird, the legendary rule does not apply. I think the former is his reasoning here, but the legendary rule applies if the two creatures have the same name. So I'm baffled as to why he thought that Yuriko could be copied.
The Legendary Rule checks the name of the permanents you control. For example, I will use the Sisay legends we have. If you control both "Sisay, Weatherlight Captain" as well as "Captain Sisay" the Legend Rule would not apply. Each card has a different name, so you do not have to sacrifice either of them. If you control "Captain Sisay" and copy it, the Legend Rule applies since you now control more than one card with the "Captain Sisay" name. You have to choose either the original or the copy and sacrifice the other one. If your opponent controls "Captain Sisay" and you copy it, the Legend Rule does not apply since you only control one "Captain Sisay." Neither you or your opponent have to sacrifice your creature. Hope that cleared it up. If you get confused, just remember that the Legend Rule checks the exact name of the permanents you control.
I find the amount of misplays and threat assessment mistakes in this gameplay disturbing and unforgivable: Two Yurikos alive in the same side of the board, paying 2 for mockingbird to copy the ninja, but the worst was Kevon's "misplays" which ended in favor of Jacob. So many counterbalance triggers missed and he didn't clean Yuriko's board with his Bowmasters to take away any chance of Commander Ninjutsu. Misplay to Win, you should be called. :v
I believe one of the yurikos was under the control of someone else, also mocking bird copies a card equal to the TOTAL mana spent on mockingbird not just the X
Damn, the amount of interaction in this episode😮
5:06 - Jacob draws a card for turn but has a Necropotence in play
We’ve all been there
"Whats your name miss??"
"Play, miss play"
a think to know, 18:08 after yuriko triggers, bowmasters is still in combat and not blocked, could ninjutsu the ninja and replay it to kill cam
2:33 Did Dylan crack a misty rainforest and grab a badlands?
Yep
yes he may have just flipped which lands he wanted to play, Marsh grabs Badlands and Misty grabs Underground sea
7:14 let's freaking GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! SHADOW OF MORTALITY MY BOY!! THATS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT THATS WHAT IM HERE FOR!!
YYYYAAAAAYYYY 🎉🎉🎉 THATS MY GIRL YURIKO 🎉🎉🎉
Amazing game, loved seeing how fast and interactive cEDH still is ❤
Dang Yuriko really went to Paris!
The most painful Demonic Consultation
Great game, good job. And serious congrats to Tyler and Brandon, organizing a tournament is tough.
Had to do a double take to see who was playing Yuriko this time around with that deck name
I’ve been losing to Jacob for years so glad to know I’m not the only one!
We should start a support group
Love that cam and Dylan are playing left handed rog
Lefthanded rog is best rog. Purely because he holds his sword in his left hand lol
The required Blue for mocking bird adds to thr count so x = 1 is enough to copy 2 drops. X = 2 you can copy 3 drops
oh my god I love rog/si. Dylan over here saying it's a bad hand
tries to win turn 2, gets stopped
tries to win turn 3, gets stopped
Rhystic turn 4
So happy to see Yuriko!!!
I love you both so much for this!! I'll see you in February!
Really looked like jacob never didnt have it
I might actually try to get out for this event 👀 I used to live on the Jersey side near Bethlehem! It would be my first time playing proper if so, but I've been considering making my way out sometime!
I just want the anti tymna playmat!!!
Ok I swear you guys always upload 2 hours before I go to work and I wake up and definitely don't watch this at work 😉
I've got family up in Bethlehem! Looks like I might make it to my first tournament 👀
for tyler and brandon's tournament, for proxy friendly, does that mean I could literally print my cards on regular paper and glue them to bulk cards , or do I need nice proxies? I'm in VA and might be interested in driving up there
Led casually moves to Cams graveyard. Rip
"Top so hard mfers taking 15. But first Ninjas gotta get swingin'."
don’t say “top so hard” 😭😭
You had me with Golden Axe
I need to make it to Bethlehem PA!!!! Would love to see u guys!!!!!
Jeez what a crazy amount of counter magic. Also like the yuriko deck tech with some of those cards, obviously going for more of a burn strategy then most list I feel like
DO WE WANNA SAY
I think cam just graveyard'd his led when he cleaned up for turn, oops
YUUUUUUUUURIIIIIIIIIIIKOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! my favorite commander BY FAR!
I played on spelltable with someone who had a P2W playmat and he got love from myself and the other 2 players in the pod.
I think that makes you guys famous!
Dang, this makes me really want to play my Yuriko deck.
Man i love yuriko, more yuriko pls
11:57 was that a token storm drake that was sacd for flare of denial? Or did I miss something mid vid
I want a tournament in VA. I have four kids and it’s incredibly difficult to get out of state for these.
Yuriko 👏👏
Mockingbird cares about the mana spent, not the value of X, so if you want to copy a 2cmc creature X can be = 1
FORCE OF DESPAIR!

Question about your energy: do you guys hype up just by sheer presence of each other or is there an energy drink involved.
7:00 - pretty sure only 1 treasure is made off the prosperous thief trigger
Great acting in the intro
Ninjas in Paris 😂
Que excelente partida!!!
So many missed counterbalance triggers..
Good things it’s a may
You can't miss them, you can just undo them
It's a may. Highly likely he missed intentionally.
He also was able to clean Yuriko's board with Orcish Bowmasters to avoid Commander Ninjutsu, but didn't want to.
@@Trisaaru idk he never triggered it on free spells. I think he just kept forgetting.
Damn it of course you do it on the other side of my state
So happy with this game ^_^
Great to be early! Keep up the good work
i just noticed the darth vader necropotence
Yuriko, let’s go!
Did Cam put his LED in his grave without actually cracking it?
Love the switch
17:38 Cam should kill his own devoted druid in response to the rollick with its untap ability when he knows it’s gonna resolve. Leaves hazel’s brewmaster as a live draw.
Yes, Hazel's Brewmaster in a temur deck...
Temur deck and Cursed Totem was out, so he couldn't have activated
Games with 4 blue I never know when something is going to resolve lmao.
quick question: would Rograkh see play if it was colorless?
So, Dimir Rog-Sci?
Misty into badlands 😂
Glad someone else noticed it.
Dylan how you... 😅
dazed mattered!
Commandeer was so funny
Who was in Paris?!?!
Amazing game!
It’s not a ptw video without dylan misfetching lol
Wow I’m lost. Dylan and Cam why’d yall introduce yourselves twice
🤯🤯🤯🤯
SPOILER BLOCKER
I was not safe 😔
At 9mins the mockingbird for 2 cant copy yuriko. Yurikos a 3drop, and not its commanderjitsu cost.
"You may have Mockingbird enter as a copy of any creature on the battlefield with mana value less than or equal to *the amount of mana spent to cast Mockingbird*"
It uses total mana spent not value of X.
@@brooke1129 got it. I heard mockingbird for 2. Thought he cast it for total 2 not x=2.
@@JimmyZLotte yes, i thought he said cast for 2 not x=2. Was a misunderstanding.
@JimmyZLotte yes, I thought he cast it for total 2, not x=2. My mistake.
Just a small thing but Jacob should’ve had to sac one Yuriko due to the legend rule when he copied it with Mockingbird. It didn’t matter at all but I just noticed
Kev had stolen yuriko w stormdrake, so jacob didn’t have a yuriko when he copied it
9:45 there is no downside to discarding yuriio right?
Mockingbird can't enter as a copy of Yuriko because it's legendary? 😅
On someone else's battlefield...
The bleach reference was hard RIP Kaien Shiba

Where is bloodpod😢
he recently mentioned in a podcast that he finally shelved it, sadly
@ can you pinpoint on what video ?
Dylan and Cam look weird this episode…

I know it wouldn't be the case here but omg, it really felt like it
8:59 if I’m not mistaken, Jacob cast Mockingbird for X equals two, which would not be able to copy Yuriko…
Not that it matters, with Mockingbird being bounced almost immediately 😂
mocking bird can enter as any creature with mana value equal to or less than the mana spent to cast it, not x value
Mockingbird X is equal to TOTAL mana spent, not just the mana spent on X
Am I wrong wouldn’t the legend rule take place?
Oh you’re right, my b 😂 still didn’t matter tho

Yuriko was stolen and legend rule only applies if you have two of the same legendary permanent under your control
Jacob's Yuriko was controlled by Kevon, no legend rule applies when Jacob's mockingbird copies it
The Legendary Rule checks the name of the permanents you control. For example, I will use the Sisay legends we have.
If you control both "Sisay, Weatherlight Captain" as well as "Captain Sisay" the Legend Rule would not apply. Each card has a different name, so you do not have to sacrifice either of them.
