Oh, yeah! DIY Rust Pastes and Patina Mixes are a great way to add oodles of texture, pigment and character to almost any surface. I LOVE using a palette knife to obtain effects with 'em, Shirley! xox
Heather, once again your creative genius teaches me so much about mixed media, daring to try knew things and not being tied to expensive products. Thank you for sharing your passion and knowledge with our RUclips community. I can't wait to try these new products and ideas!!
Dear Maureen - Wow! Thank you SO much for taking the time to share such lovely thoughts. You are a blessing in my life, and I'm proud to know you. If my quirky ideas help to loosen the contraints of Expensive Product Bondage, then I am one happy girl. xox

Amazing!! These look fantastic, Heather! And I will get back to the course soon...I was really sick for a while after returning from Cuba and I'm trying to catch up on my other crafting things before I loose myself in the course. Debbie :)
Hey Debbie! So sorry you haven't been feeling well! I hope you were able to enjoy the trip, though. I know how it is: so many wonderful projects - so little time. See you on FB, my friend! xox
Hi Margaret! I'm glad you contacted me on Facebook, and I hope the answers you received are of use to you, my friend! For anyone else wondering about this - here's what I told Margaret: add small amounts of water (either distilled OR boiled for 1 minute and allowed to cool - this will minimize the growth of bacteria) and mix until the consistency is pleasing to you. Don't be shy about playing with the recipe - add or subtract ingredients until you get the results that you CRAVE! xox
Thank you so much for sharing all of your magic with us Tracy!
I love these Talisman Medallions, that gritty paste makes a wonderful, tactile, surface... for everything... awesome!!!!
