Of course there’s a big difference from vintage comics compared to moderns chance at pulling higher grades so I’m a product of my own collecting device. Wow I was slow on the replies for this video! Haha 9.8s from the 80s/90s are far from 9.8s from the silver age my friend. I just enjoy having big silver keys in whatever grade… That we still have very much in common! 33 days now! 🎉
I had 2 x men 221 s a newsstand and a direct but sold them when I was in a financial pinch. I really regret it. You having 8 of them is really impressive. There are books I have to buy every time I see them in a shop. Keep up the good work. Love your videos
Is that a PC Optimum card in there? Lol. Good old wallet. Nice pick ups man! The highest I got on getting either one of those graded was a 9.6 CGC universal for the ASM and a 9.6 Verified CBCS Signature (Claremont) for the UXM. I sold both of them some time ago though. Would love to have a 9.8 of the ASM in my hands again someday though. Congrats!

Awesome upgrades, I still need a 299 and 316 to complete my Venom key run. Also ASM 300 fluctuates in price so much you’re bound to get a high grade one at a good price at some point.
first appearance of forge may be wise book too stack. My logic is that 'tech' team members always portray nicely in the big screen. Many fell in love with Iron man, inventions, tech and the way he innovates and never read a comic. They could relate too the character. Juicy tech as sonny birch would say.

I have a raw ASM 346 but I don’t consider it in the same light as the ones I mentioned… that said a 9.8 might make its way in some day haha

ASM 361 has been one I've been hunting for in "9.8" condition as raw or graded at a 9.6, dope that ya got a nice one 😊
361 was a really nice surprise when it came back from CGC. Always rewarding when you scoop up a 9.8 raw!

Yeah 300 hasnt been a big priority but now that it’s one of the past missing links maybe I should move it up the priority list in 2025.

Not a bad spec! I think they’re going to go with the animated series roster unfortunately but Forge would be a sick addition!
