I think the reason why Ultimate X-Men is chugging along is because there is such origonality and intrigue to the book. I personally am left even more curious with every issue.
That's what I like about it. It's a comic book that is very unpredictable.

Not surprised that transformers is up there high in the list, for those who are reading this you need to pick it up if you haven't. Get the issues before is too late, now that the series is still young make your way to your LCS.
People keep jumping on Transformers. I have no doubt it’ll be number one some time soon.
I think Ultimate X-men will read better for many in collected form.

I was confused the entire issue on Deadpool wolverine ww3 like action and no movement in story. Such a strange comic dropped it after issue 1

I bought it and promptly dropped it as well. Found it slightly confusing but also even once I figured out what was happening just not great. I like the idea of the story but executed poorly. The art is really good but that’s it.

I am loving Ultimate X-Men....it's really a fun book!
Geiger is my 3rd favorite book right now... right behind Rook:Exodus & Transformers.
Ultimate X-men could be the best story ever written, but I just can't stand looking at Peaches art. I have two covers from her and avoid pulling those covers. It's just not my vibe at all, unfortunately. Transformers is untouchable when it drops and nice to see it climb. Much ❤❤ brother.
I don't have a pull list, but I do pick up Adams's "Green Lantern" when I can. Bit surprised "FF" is so high on the pull list. I don't know anyone who is reading that book. "Transformers" is not surprising to me. It's a big IP, and that book has been great since DWJ started writing it. Another surprise is "UXM" being so high on the list. I checked out the first issue and it didn't feel like an x-men book at all, so I passed on it.
The X-Men comic is different and that is what I do like about it.
@@ComicBookCorner2.0 I get that. I was just so starved for good x-men content that it felt like a "bait and switch". If the book was called "Ultimate Armor", I'd probably have been much more open to it. Armor is OK to me, nothing against the character, but I wanted a good x-men book (like what we got with Spidey and Black Panther). Clearly, some people are enjoying Peach's new book, and I think that's great for those who do.
I'm collecting both the base & red band versions of Blood Hunt. Been enjoying it so far. Looking forward to DP, GL, Avengers, Miles Morales, Transformers & Ult X Men. Been enjoying all my pulls lately so let's hope this continues

Honestly I probably wouldn't go on the show I never have time on Saturdays as I work when there show goes on but I don't think we would mesh well as our opinions on many comics are very different and that's totally okay that is what's fun about talking comics. Also I did hear about his passing very upsetting. I wish his family all the best.

Tbh I only have the tie-in mini of All-Out War, which made me feel emotional.
As far as weekly comics go... just Shazam! (which is out at the beginning of each month), unless Titans does somethingh interesting, I'm so OVER Raven's arc, might as well wait for a tpb.
I will probably get the upcoming Wondie, to finally see the Wonder Girls in action and Diana being done with the baddie's BS.

I really like Ultimate Xmen, as a manga reader I see it as a good opportunity for new readers, especially manga readers, to become familiar with superhero comics

I dropped WWIII also, and after your first review video of the two different blood hunts, I agreed with you and went with the trade dress Gabrielle Del Otto covers. I like the idea of a redband book, but these didn’t differentiate themselves enough for me to bother with the bagged edition.

Ultimate X men has been great imo! I’m here for the ride I think it’s going to get really good in the next few issues. And yes I’d love a review of Gods. Keep hearing mixed reviews but Hickman is on fire lately so I’m quite curious 👀
Sam with Gods. I was able to pick up issues 1-7 for $1 each so excited to see what Hickman offers by reading the run all at once.
Me too. I've been loving ultimate x-men since issue 1, and the story is so interesting through the shadow mystery and getting insight into the main cast traumas with a flair of jp horror. The art is always amazing and gives this book its own unique identity.
I did check out Ghost Rider Final Vengeance per your recommendation. As someone who lives in Chicago, I enjoy a book based in my home city.

Ultimate xmen is holding its value. I can find back issues of ultimate spiderman for a discount because all the variants and reprints but every X-Men I try to pick up is cover price. I think X-Men is pulling from 3 different audiences: X-Men fans, manga fans and ultimate fans. Excited to see how 4 goes!
And Peach fans! I've never read an X-Men book before, but knowing that Peach was having a go at it, really incentivized my picking it up!
You hammer the nail on what kinds of fans that support this ultimate x-men book. But more insight on x-men fans that they're less of them because hardcore x-men fans are still calling this book trash just because it's different and probably more manga fans and peach fans that keeping the sells good.
