If pulled off right, the x-ray system could be viable as a basis for mission success in a multitude of different ways, allowing for instant kills to be executed in a slow-motion chain sequence within a timeframe if Nina is ambushing a small group, silent kills/paralysis strikes during stealth, a deadly counterstrike if Nina herself is ambushed (in a crowd, active camouflage, death from above etc.), enemies and noncombatants with minimal trauma/blood loss to be brought back from death with a strike to the heart (Nina can be executed while performing this however) and crippling blows and holds with her signature Tekken moves to leave an enemy screaming and disabled which could provide a useful distraction - as well as some comic relief from the interactions between the NPCs. Throw in some light-to-moderate gore, cameo appearances from Anna, Steve and perhaps even Kazuya (voice-over), outfit customization /load out options, battle damage, destructible environments and weapons (improvised or conventional) which can be integrated seamlessly into the combat mechanics and you have a game with high replay value and a potential spinoff franchise (that is, IF they can manage to avoid falling down the "woke" rabbit-hole.....). Although gunplay would be optional and even advisable in certain areas of the game, the main idea is to showcase Nina's "Kenpo" which she's famous for and to reflect her personality which is intense, seductive and explosive. I know that various aspects of this concept have been done before in other titles and franchises but that only means that Namco should have a plethora of examples and empirical data available to be able to determine what works and what doesn't.
