I would diasgree with the comparison you have made between person 1 and 2. And i am saying this from first hand perspective. If someone have very good coding skills they are definitely going to be earning totally equivalent to the person who have done MTech from IIT. If you haven't worked hard on your skills, graduating from IIT also won't fetch you good salaries. There are many instances where people from tier 3 colleges are earning more than IITians and that's because salaries in Tech are given based on skills and not on your college.
We have talked about a general scenario, We disagree with your comment that “if you do not work hard on your skills in IIT.” We don’t think that is an option for someone in IIT, you have to work hard otherwise you won’t graduate. We agree that people from Tier 3 might be earning more than IITians but then again what is the majority, right? Rajat has taken highly probable scenes.
@@techyduo7953 General scenario is that most of tier 3 people won't have excellent coding skills. And very few who will be having excellent coding skills (category 2 in your video) will be grabbing same salaries as the IITians. In video you are showing that IITian will still be earning more than a non iitian who is having excellent coding skills, which is definitely false.
@@techyduo7953 Basically the data will be that catergory 3 people will be earning least. Category 1 and 2 people will be earning same. Infact most probably category 2 people will be earning more than category 1. See that cat-2 person is having 3yr exp when category-1 person graduates. So cat2 will be joining at senior level lets say a senior engineer but cat1 person will join as fresher. Senior engineer salary will be almost double of a junior engineer at similar level company.
You have a misconception that Cat 1 person will join at junior level. That is not the case. Your designation after doing Masters is different than someone who did BTech. Again, let’s agree to disagree. You can’t quantify the “Excellent coding skills” part. A person who has done MTech from IIT might be having good enough coding skills plus they have a degree. Your second misconception is that people in tech are purely based on what they know. I have seen people in the same designation as I am but getting much lesser salary because they are from tier 3.
@@techyduo7953You are pointing out to only those cases where tier-1 people get higher salary than tier-3 people (who are even having very good skills like that of tier-1 folks). Yes there are companies who discriminate. On the other hand there are very good number of companies which do not discriminate based on college tier you come from. And when it comes to top tech companies, most of them do not discriminate these days.
After job switch person-A get 50% increament but person-B get only 35% increment Also person-B got 6 lakh hike after 2 year work experience from 8 lakh to 14 lakh ....... but after 5 year work experience he got only 6.5 lakh hike after switching his job Your calculations are totally wrong for person-B In this video you are super biased towards M tech CSE .
