This song gives me a mental peace that I haven't found in a long time. I can't take my life anymore, but honestly? The problem has always been me, I lost a lot of friendships because of myself, I lost my ex-girlfriend because of myself, I'm almost losing my mother because of myself, the reality is that I've always been a selfish asshole and liar who only thinks about himself. I just wanted to change and be that good person again. Deep down, I'm still the same guy I always was. The only things that have calmed me down lately are watching series or playing football. Other than that, it's just anguish and pure sadness.
Keep fighting for that change. Accept your mistakes, realize the weight of them and move on. That is the one thing you can do to truly become a better person, to realize and accept your mistakes. It is hard, it may not seem it, but to grasp that you fucked up on such a fine layer of feeling, the weight of it, is quite difficult. I made a lot of mistakes, i beat myself up about them still, i still feel guilt from it. Im getting better at accepting that what ive done can not be undone. All I, We can do, is try for a better future. Good luck brother. Good luck from one suffering soul to another. May peace find its way to you.
It's never too late to change. Owning up to your mistakes is the hardest part, now it's just making changes. It may take some sacrifices, and I may take some self-discipline, but it will be well worth it when your connections are not toxic anymore. Keep what makes you happy around while you make the needed changes, once it's all done, you will feel amazing! You got this :)
