MrKajithecat Oh when I watched 13 hours, I was like woah he is pulling off serious really well, and I was so used to seeing Jim that it was blowing my mind a little.

sounds trippy. I would definitely feel like I was on drugs if I was acting in a movie with someone that big. like. am I in a dream coma? trippy man crazy
It reminds me of the time I just happened to coincide flights with some superstars and got a ride home from them. Nothing was wrong, they were great nice folks, I was fine and happy but it sort of freaked me out a little. As he describes, I'm sitting there just thinking maybe.. like just let me out here on the side of the road because I'm not supposed to be here. There's been a glitch in the the universe.
I loved Brief Interviews with Hideous Men. Even though most people didn’t understand it, David Foster Wallace is tough material to adapt for the screen.
I can totally relate to what he is saying about the small steps you take to achieve bigger stardom- so it's not too much of a shock to work with big stars. Except my experience has gone the opposite way, where i now look around at the people around me, and think, if only you knew how much i can't stand looking at you., or why am i still here with these empty Muppets, i am sure they feel the same about me.
For what it’s worth I thought he played jack ryan really well, I’d love to see him in more action stuff, not to mention the fact that he created the “a quiet place” universe as well.
mmm idk. I think you need to have the mindset of "ok you know what these guys are incredible, respectable, admirable, but they are also as human as i am. We both wipe our ass with toilet paper." and then you just say with confidence to yourself, i've trained for this, i was picked for this, i'm going to bring the very best i have." I don't fully agree with him on this one i think. Your brain doesn't accept those truths possibly, but you have to, your willpower has to, otherwise you become a letdown quite frankly, because sometimes you only get that one chance to show what you can do, can't afford to miss it.
But also the realization can only come if you are making enough money or rather getting enough regular work not to care. Love John Krasinski, love this channel. Just saying....
Krazinski stumbled out of the blocks right after the Office ended with Promised Land but he's doing great in the last year or so. 13 Hours last year and now A Quiet Place and later this year Jack Ryan.
That deep, Jim. So deep. Now get back to selling 20lbs., 92 brightness reams of copy paper. Your sales are down this month and Dwight will reassemble Mega-desk if you don’t pick it up.
Jim has lost mind. What in the world is he talking about!?!?! Working with Robin Williams and George Clooney? I guess being with Pam all those years has driven him mad. Next he will be saying he had lunch with Abe Lincoln in Scranton PA.

he reminds me of the actor John Krasinski

I love that he self-corrected in real time how far away he was from waiting tables to that role.

He's showing what real gratitude is. Loving what you have experienced rather than what stuff you have.
A very well spoken individual.
Wow, what a truly insightful answer. Its a shame that so many celebrities are never able to inspire because they don't get asked the right questions.

This is a great lesson about imposter syndrome.
John Krasinski worked at my restaurant before he was famous but he only did for 3 days because he was so bad at serving .
The first time I saw John Krasinski on T.V was when he was featured in an episode of CSI (original)!
