This review is aimed at helping those who shop online and so can't check the yarn personally. I share information about the yarn - its thickness, texture, any disadvantages, the crochet and knitting needles sizes that would be suitable. Seeing the yarn in the video might be helpful too. Also I am attempting to share my experience about the yarn, in the hope that all this information would help you to understand , if the Magic Needle 4 Ply Kotton yarn is what you need for your next crafty project. Can we do hand bags out of this with single strand?

It depends upon what look you want in terms of the stitch being used, and how big and weight lifting capacity you want. A pattern with dense crochet stitches should work with single strand (I tried all single crochet and granny stitch - both seem good for a bag) , but if its like a mesh design I am not how much weight it can handle .

Color bleed??

Sorry forgot to mention that. They do have a warning for dark colored shades, they might bleed in initial few washes. And one must wash them separately, with mild detergent and avoid soaking for long.
I would also add dry all such cotton in shade too, as sun drying can cause colors to fade too.
