  • Tired of roaming the Tiger Mountain biking scene with just you and 300 of your best friends? Well, you're in luck. And guess what, winter is the ideal time for riding Tokul! Easy to lap, and with (mostly) well-drained trails, Tokul is a joy to ride whether for a longer weekend jaunt, or quick post-work laps.
Just a hop across I-5 is a gem of a mountain biking (mixed-use) system called Tokul. About 40 minutes from Seattle in Fall City, WA, Tokul has everything from XC to Downhill and everything in-between. With two distinct areas to choose from, Tokul boasts something for everyone.
This video is a quick teaser for the Tokul East portion. For an in-depth guide to the Tokul West mountain bike trails, check out the complete guide here: • The Best Mountain Bike...
Keep in mind that Tokul is privately owned and maintained by a timber company, Campbell Global. Campbell Global allows non-motorized recreation on their trails with the purchase of a recreation permit so PLEASE buy the "non-motorized" recreation pass if you ride here (link below). It keeps the trails open for all of us to enjoy mountain biking near Seattle.

Nice work Claire! Love the video editing! I think one thing you should work on is dialing down the music just a touch when you are talking and slightly boost your voice volume! Other than that, the actual video edit was great!

Thanks so much! I appreciate your feedback - I totally agree on this one, caught it on the upload too late.

Nice video! Only because you asked for feedback on editing, there are a few camera shots from overhead that are really cool, but at :46 and :54 right as you are about to hit a jump they cut away - I'd love to see you take those jumps! Love your content though - I've watched like 10 of your videos and they're all fantastic

@@ClaireJencks I've been looking at both Tokuls, tiger mountain, I went to Duthie. There is so many options, I'm not even sure what to look at after those areas. I just dont want to waste my time at meh areas to miss out on must do rides and places.

I love it! There are so many great areas it can be hard to choose. After those initial areas I’d check out Raging River, BDOS, 360 and Port Gamble. Those latter three are low elevation and a longer drive but work well in the winter.

Also, Bellingham is a treasure trove and also is ridable year round (except for freeze thaw days and particularly wet ones).

@@ClaireJencks that is definitely on my radar. I'll get up there one of these days.
