Love it as usual Baby Bear. And it is very brave of you to share your struggles with mental health. It’s a subject which we must continue to be open and talk about to break its stigma. Love you!!! 😘🥰
Thank you for sharing your spreads, I love how you journal and doodle, all of it is so cute. I also want to thank you for being so open about your struggles with mental health. I too, struggle with anxiety as well as depression and it can be so hard, debilitating, and it can make you feel so alone, but your video helped me to feel not alone in my struggles. It also takes extreme bravery to talk about, to let people in, and to share what and where your struggles are, so I just wanted to say that you are so brave Helen, and that you aren't alone with your struggles. I also wanted to say I am always here to listen, and chat with too, from one mental health sufferer to another, I am so proud of you!! You have inspired me to want to share more of me as well, and help with breaking the stigma surrounding mental health. 💗 Thank you for continuing to be a beautiful constant in my life, for continuing to be an inspiration, for sparking my creativity and allowing me to not being afraid to share it. When I found you, your amazing stickers, your family, and your tcmc family, I was in a really dark place and you helped to bring me out of that. When I say that you and your stickers and your families are special to me, I mean it in so many ways. You truly have a part in helping to change my life in such a good way, and I will be forever grateful for that. Your stickers bring such joy to my life and I could never imagine a life without you and them in it now. So thank you for ALL you do for me and for all of us in the group who love you and your stickers so much. Thank you for being such a light in a world that can be so dark and full of uncertainty, a person I respect and also hold close to my heart, and thank you for being a friend. I hope you know that you make the world a better place just by being in it. Big ((Hugs)) and much love to you Helen 💗xoxo
Ps. I also loved that your video was longer, and chatty, and personal. Please don't ever think its too long, or too chatty, or anything like that because its the opposite!! 💗😉 I could watch and listen to you all day girl!! Keep doing you, and sharing you, because your awesome!!! 💗💗💗
Such a great video Helen! I enjoyed every minute of it! I especially appreciated your bravery in sharing you mental health tracker. I believe during this pandemic, our collective trauma is hitting us all differently, but it is something some us are dealing with harder than others. I understand your need to keep it private and whatever you choose I hope you know your openness of mental health is helping the break down the stigma of this being “taboo”. I know I deal with my own mental health differently and use my planners and journaling to process my thoughts. Thanks again for such a wonderful video and congrats on the new releases! That vellum post it looked 😍😍amazing!
helen, thanks for being open about your mental health! i've been suffering from anxiety for over a decade myself, and when your brain is the enemy, life isn't easy. remember to do something each day just for YOU, not your family, your classes, your subscribers, your customers - just YOU. :)
The mental health tracker is a very good idea. I struggle with mental health issues as well and sometimes it catches me off guard. Thank you for sharing. *HUGS * You are not alone in your struggles. I wish more people were as open.
If I was finishing college AND running a super successful full-time business, I would have serious anxiety/panic as well. I worry about how in the world you are doing this all. I think your followers would be happy to let you finish college in peace!! Enjoy your last semester!! Take some naps! 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
I loved the length of this video. It was really calming to watch. I also love the way you do your monthly spreads. They are so cute. Thank you for the in-depth explanation of things! I hope your February is going well! Can't wait for the next flip through :)
I'm so hooked on your videos. My planner is also my mental health advisor haha. I reward myself with cake stickers, give myself bouquets and write down quotes from Thich Nhat Hanh if I need some extra support. Some days I know in advance are going to be hard and write a quote ahead of time that I think future me might appreciate. Those days have extra sparkly and cute washi too :) I love that your stickers express feelings so well! There is nothing like them for comfort, they are like little warm hugs. Thank you 🥰
Love to plan with you on Sunday mornings! It's a ritual for me. I don't have any friends or groups that relate to my obsession with stickers, nice paper and fun writing utensils, so this is always really nice. Love you, your channel, your planning style, your shop and everything in between! Keep doing what you're doing, Helen! Have a nice day!
Same for me! It's been nice to find a community of people who are into all types of stationery stuff since I don't know anyone in person who is interested in this stuff. Helen's Sunday videos are a part of my routine now too :)
Lengthly videos for the win! So I will be writing a lengthy comment, pausing the video as things come to me (and hope RUclips doesn't eat my comment, or I don't accidentally hit the back button). I'm going to be bookmarking and rewatching this video. Last year, I was thinking iI would try an A6 this year. But after watching your videos and getting inspiration, I decided to give the regular Cousin a try, and hope that I am able to have a fun book to look back on in the future. Thank you for sharing the way you shared how you use the yearly tracker. I really should do something similar. I'm still trying to figure out if I am dealing with burnout or something more. And guess who just realized that the stickers in the kit fit well in the monthly pages? 🙋♀️🤦♀️I can't wait to get the second half of the monthly kits (please tell me there will be a second set because I am finally seeing all the places I can use the kit, and the continuity would be nice😃)! I have the mini calendar set up to help note which daily pages are used for their actual days. While I have some empty pages, I will try to use it for notes and other things on later days. While having pages filled out every day would be great, I also realize it is very unrealistic for me to use my planners every day. Having such expectations is just a way to set me up for failure. That's a really good tip about the weekly. I usually try to look over the week, though I. have a hard time doing hourly planning right now. Sometimes I feel like the days are pretty much the same, and nothing to really write about. Going to try hourly again, and break it into two sessions. Maybe more time-based, then decorate and add things at random places later or on the day of? Hmmm I'll have to try it next week since I already put stickers and other things on the page already. Not sure if you have the stencils, but I love using Hobonichi's stencils when trying to figure out how long the washi needs to be. For the dailies, I'm just writing whatever and putting things in. Not sure if it is something you would be interested in, but the writing to get things out of the syst. m, and not remember ing what you wrote? It reminded me of the Mental health class I took online. It is more of an art journaling, and I believe it is called Waterfall spread by Dyan Reavely (on Etsy). In that week-long class on Facebook, one of the activities was to write things out to get it out of our system, she then had us turn the page and write some more. I still have my page, and it is very fun to look at, but for the life of me, I can't figure out what I wrote. While I don't remember what I wrote, I remember how much lighter I felt afterward.
Thank you!!! I, too, suffer from depression and anxiety. And I am going to use that idea of the perpetual yearly. You are amazing!!! You are so inspiring!
Loved your flip through and all of your pages! Thank you for sharing so much personal stuff, especially your mental challenges! We all have them, hun, and the more we talk about them, the easier it makes it to deal with them for all of us who suffer! I love your videos and love your planners! Thanks for all you do! 💜💜💜
This was a great video! Thank you for sharing about your challenges with mental health. So many people struggle in silence. You are brave to share and I’m sure it is helping many people that you are. I’m absolutely looking forward to this style of a chatty flip through for next month. Love it! ❤️💚💙💜
I absolutely love how you plan and how creative you are. Thank you so much for sharing about your mental health journey. There are so many people who have mental health issues and just don’t ever talk about it. You’re truly any inspiration ♥️
I loved the flip through! It definitely wasn’t too long and I especially love getting to know more about how you approach your mental health and the functionality of your planning style. Sharing something so deeply personal with the world is pretty profound and it helps some of us feel normal and less alone. Also, seeing how you actually use your planner helps me accept that my planner never has to be the same week-to-week or the same as every other person on social media. My planner is for me and it should function however I need it to and that can vary every single day, if need be. Thank you so much!!
As always, beautiful content, and you're truly inspiring for talking about your mental health while still setting personal boundaries for what you would like to share, it's great to know that you're taking yourself into account with what you share, and we all love and respect you for whatever you choose to share or keep private. Also, I would have no issue with longer videos, even if it was four hours long I'd watch all of it
You are as brave as you are talented and lovely! Thank you for sharing your emotional tracker with us. It gives an example, without giving too much detail, on ways we can track our own mental health journey. I look forward to receiving my order with the entire set of rainbow stickers! I haven’t done a rainbow spread since my Amy Tangerine Happy Planner was used up. I need some rainbows in my life. Sending hugs and best wishes to you. ❤️
I love that you're so candid with us.. sending you lots of love for sharing your daily struggles. I am sure you are an inspiration to many, as you are to me. Also, I am loving the rainbow spreads 🥰 New videos from you make my day ❤️
I love the longer videos! Seeing your work is so inspirational. Also, what about adding a column in your mood tracker for tracking days in which something happy or positive happened? That might help convey the balance of days? In any event, thanks for being so transparent and relatable.
thank you for sharing about your mental health. exposure to mental health is so important for those that are new to it or insecure about it! I don't know your history and I don't want to be pushy but maybe therapy could help or provide some insights. a few of the things it's done for me is recognize my emotional patterns, why they're so habitual (childhood), and when I can/should diverge from them :)
I totally agree! I've also been learning more about the "why", like past trauma and patterns and stuff from childhood etc. I've found it really helpful. 👍
Your voice is like ASMR! Watching your videos is therapy to me. Thanks for all the inspiration and sharing your talents with me and the World! You are a gem!
Hi Luv, I will keep you in my prayers! Just know there are people you may never meet that are rooting for you and believe in you! You did a beautiful job on your planner! Lots of love and prayers!
Loved it (and was such a relaxing thing to do while having breakfast before going to work). Thank you so much for sharing your process, Helen! It's helped me lots with using most of my hobo cousin. I really resonated with the use of the I guess 'year at a glance' area, so i will be incorporating that, as well as keeping the extra dot paper. Sending you big hugs and lots of gratitude for sharing your mental health struggles with us. It's not easy, and those of us that go through it really appreciate seeing ways to use our love of stationery to help/track (though i can only speak for myself, of course). Love you lots!
There are SOOO many of us with mental health issues - especially in these trying times! But don't be ashamed to talk about it in your videos, but I DO get the intimacy of it as well, so thank you for sharing. I suffer from anxiety and depression. And probably PTSD, OCD, ADHD... Lol the list goes on. I just have to say, Omg, I LOOOVE your writing! And you're SOO artistic!
I really don't mind longer videos, i actually like to hear the whispers of your voice (it calms me down) and your incredible planning ideas.. i get inspirational by your daily notes and doodles..Which are your "top 3" books you read?
Love the video, your spreads and how open you are about mental health ❤ Too often people feel that they can't talk about it, because they'll get judged by others for it and that breaks my heart, because no one is happy all the time. So thank you for being so open about it❤
i always love your videos. Its great to see how you do your layouts. I also very much appreciate you sharing your mental health tracker. Its easier to deal with these things when you know your not the only one who has struggles. I missed most of the new items because I was at work when it went live. But thats ok, I still placed a fun order. ;)
This was an amazing video. I think you are very brave in talking about your mental health. I really struggle talking about it, it makes me feel super insecure. So, thank you for that :)
Thank you for sharing everything, I enjoy your longer videos. I really like how you're using the yearly tracker... I too have started trying to keep track of my mental health.
Thank you for another good Hobonichi planning. I like the way you use the perpetual or future log as a tracker. I will probably try that out in February.
I love your videos like always. You don't ramble on as much as I do XD. I just want to give you a hug. Well you might not want physical hugs so virtual hugs it is. Take care of yourself. Wish I can ease your anxiety. I love seeing your spreads.
Loved this flip-through! I don't mind the long explanations😅 it goes by so quickly for me! I'm not much of a reader, but maybe if I take some notes I'll feel more engaged in the story/topics😋 so that was helpful! I hope you have a wonderful week and I wish you all the best with your mental health and school🥺❤ Its your last stretch so I hope things go well!
I love taking notes in regards to nonfiction books but I always end up writing my notes in the books. I love the Hobonichi Cousin, I have the Techo Acev. It’s my first time using it. Love your videos and love your shop. Thank you for sharing. Blessings.
I watched an obscene number of Hobonichi planning videos over the Christmas break and your videos are THE BEST 🥰. I was interested in buying the journal but decided against it because I knew if I couldn’t make it look like yours then I didn’t want it 😂. Thanks for sharing your life with us. It might be interesting to also track your water and coffee consumption to see if there is a correlation with having anxiety, headaches, sluggish moments. I feel you on those “I quit” days, but hope your year is filled with more “I won” days filled with fun! Big hugs from Florida 💜💜
Love this video Helen!! Your voice is so calming. I also appreciate how you share some of your mental health with us. A lot of people struggle with it. Thank you for sharing with us.
I appreciate what you said about not pressuring yourself to finish a spread. I did that last year and I think that’s why my planner ended up being so empty. Also didn’t think this was too long at all.
I love the longer video!!! I also love your spreads!! I know mental health is pretty personal but I’m so happy you do share what you do. Bringing awareness to it really helps some people… it definitely helps me. I wish my cousin looked as beautiful on the inside as yours does! I look forward to these videos every week!
Loved this video! I hope you continue to do more flip throughs in your hobonichi cousin, it is super helpful and inspiring! Thank you for sharing the mental health tracker page, I’m definitely going to use those pages for that as well. You’ve inspired me to journal and plan this year in a hobonichi cousin because of how bad my mental state was last year. Seeing you study at uni, running a business and putting so much work into both, you are a true role model to me. I started uni just last year and it has taken a toll on my mental health and journaling and planning has helped me so much so far. Also congrats on a successful release yesterday! I picked up so many of the new goodies 😄 I can’t wait for next weeks vid!! ☺️
Loved this and yes great ideas. I particularly like how you are keeping notes on reading. I never know how to organize it so end up throwing stuff out.
Thank you so much for sharing!!! I too struggle with mental health issues (general anxiety, depression, etc) and was thinking of how to track it in my bujo. Thank you for sharing your methods and being so vulnerable. You are so very talented and am so appreciative of all the tips, tricks, and art you share with us ❤️❤️❤️
I really love this video! I know you said in the end you’d keep explanations short in the next video so it wouldn’t get too rambly but I quite liked listening to you talk and how open you were about mental health and your life. Overall wonderful video, thank you so much for sharing with us! 💕
Love your set up as always, and thanks for being vulnerable to share about your mental health. I hope you’re working on that with therapy, it has done wonders for me! Take care!
Ok. Wow. Thank you so much for showing more on this. I have been somewhat curious about the Hobo books. Seeing how you use them, it seems it might be something that I could look into :) I enjoyed this very much and your explanation :)
Thank you for sharing this, it really helps. I was stuck on how to plan in a Hobonichi, did some test runs but wasn't happy with them but after watching this video I have a better idea of what I want to do now!
Love the video! It's so nice to see and your handwriting and spreads are so aesthetically pleasing. It makes me want to use a Hobonichi myself, but it would be 90% empty since I'm not nearly as busy as you seem to be. Can't wait for the next video!
Hello Helen! I love your videos - every one of them. I find them very relaxing to watch while getting tips, tricks, and ideas for planning and journaling. I love that you discuss your depression and anxiety as so many of us suffer from it. It took me the longest time to come to terms with it. I felt embarrassed and ashamed to even tell anyone that I deal with that, however, being open about it probably helped me deal with it so much more. Can you give me any tips for putting the TCMC tabs on my Hobo weeks and Cousin? I've procrastinated because I'm not quite sure how to put them on so they are all evenly spaced and aligned. Thank you so, so much in advance!
Thanks for sharing your spreads Helen! rly rly enjoyed the video. if youre worried that quarterly flip throughs might be too long mayb you can do monthly ones? but either way i'd be down to watch it no matter how short or long it is. hope you have great days ahead
Another great video, Helen! I do have a question. I saw a foiled 'work' sticker on your first weekly spread. Can you post where you got them please? Thank you!
The 'perpetual calendar' is meant to be a place to post reoccurring daily, weekly, or monthly events/tasks by day of the week so you do not have to continually rewrite them throughout the rest of the planner. While the Cousin is awesome, you might want to look into the Techo if you want something with fewer prompts or dedicated pages for this or that. There is also an English version of the Techo, but it is only in size A6.
You've inspired me to get a hobonichi cousin planner and I'm so excited to use it! Do you also keep a diary/journal on top of the planner? or just do it all in here?
Helen I love the Mon Tue Wed ThU Fri Sat sun stickers on your monthly. I can't seem to find them in your shop. can I ask if their yours or where you got them. ty
Being in the group and watching your videos makes me want to try the cousin...but I have no idea what I would use it for since I have all my planner systems set up already 🙃
Hi, enjoy watching your videos! Here do you get your hobonichi planners from? If it comes directly from Japan, how long does it take to ship and did you have to pay additional duties? Thank you!
Helen…I love this. I recently switched to the cousin and I use the energel clena in 0.4 (love it!) but I am finding that sometimes the pen is skipping and not writing well on the tomoe paper…do you have any suggestions? Also, do you use a pencil board? Thanks always for sharing! ❤️
Personally I find a pencil board super helpful for pen skipping issues! I don't use the clena but I do use other gel pens and they write much better for me with a pencil board underneath. 👍
You can make an hour long video and we’d all still LOVE every minute .
Love it as usual Baby Bear. And it is very brave of you to share your struggles with mental health. It’s a subject which we must continue to be open and talk about to break its stigma. Love you!!! 😘🥰
Setting Sunday morning aside for my weekly planning session so I can watch Helen’s video during it is one of the best decisions I have made.
Omg this made my day! THANK YOU!

Thank you Elyse and I completely agree with you 💗 Glad you like the sticky notes too ^_^ I hope you have a great week ahead!!!
I am obsessed with your channel so glad I found it even though I’ve been buying your stickers for a while…

Yay! Helen time! Im ready with my morning coffee heheh .
YES The right way to enjoy a video! Have a great Sunday!
If only you could see yourself through ALL OF OUR EYES....You would just cry with love. Sending much love from Ohio
Thank you so so much Lori! I hope you have a wonderful week ahead!

I'm not new here by any means but I'm always in awe of your handwriting and casual doodles!
Thank you for sharing your mental health tracker. I think it’s a fantastic idea and will be including one in my February set up.
I love the this week's rainbow themed spread!
Love the video, your spreads and how open you are about mental health ❤
Too often people feel that they can't talk about it, because they'll get judged by others for it and that breaks my heart, because no one is happy all the time. So thank you for being so open about it❤
i always love your videos. Its great to see how you do your layouts. I also very much appreciate you sharing your mental health tracker. Its easier to deal with these things when you know your not the only one who has struggles. I missed most of the new items because I was at work when it went live. But thats ok, I still placed a fun order. ;)
Happy Sunday Helen. 💞💞
Good morning! Have a great day Kimiko!!
This was an amazing video. I think you are very brave in talking about your mental health. I really struggle talking about it, it makes me feel super insecure. So, thank you for that :)
Thank you Luz! Sending you lots of love 💗
I absolutely love this video! Helen you have outdone yourself with these spreads! What are you reading these days? Keep going strong!
Thank you sweet Jarhonda!!! Just finished-up The Art of Color today! I think I will be reading Sophie's World next!
Blessings.
I just bought my first hobonichi cousin and can’t wait for it it get here. You were my inspiration. Love this video.
It's great being able to see in detail how you use each section! Thank you for sharing!
I love this. You have the best planner channel ever.
Love this video Helen!! Your voice is so calming. I also appreciate how you share some of your mental health with us. A lot of people struggle with it. Thank you for sharing with us.
I love this kind of videos Helen! They keep me on track and always gives me ideas for my bullet journal!
Loved it! The extra detail about your system is very helpful.
I printed the digital monthly calendars and put them on the blank page at the beginning of each month and I love it!!
Yayy just what I needed today! Excited I have my coffee ready. Love your planning style and penmanship
Thank you for sharing your lovely planner! I think this is so great! 💕
Thank you for sharing what you are dealing with for your mental health. I'm also coping with these same things. Know you aren't alone.
"apparently I am human" ...I have to remind myself every day
Loved this and yes great ideas.
You are so very talented and am so appreciative of all the tips, tricks, and art you share with us ❤️❤️❤️
Such a wonderful video. I love your planning routine. Many blessings.
I really love this video! I know you said in the end you’d keep explanations short in the next video so it wouldn’t get too rambly but I quite liked listening to you talk and how open you were about mental health and your life. Overall wonderful video, thank you so much for sharing with us! 💕
your daily pages are always so satisfying to look at. thanks for making these videos for us 💕
I didn't even know "color theory" was a thing. It's very interesting to learn different aspects of life from different careers.
Thanks for such an honest and inspirational video. Your planning is beautiful!
I miss the releases so often lol.
I love your tulip drawings. So beautiful!!
Thank you for sharing this, it really helps. I was stuck on how to plan in a Hobonichi, did some test runs but wasn't happy with them but after watching this video I have a better idea of what I want to do now!
Loved this video!! Such great inspo! ❤️
Love the video! It's so nice to see and your handwriting and spreads are so aesthetically pleasing. It makes me want to use a Hobonichi myself, but it would be 90% empty since I'm not nearly as busy as you seem to be. Can't wait for the next video!
Atlas of the Heart
I just got that for Christmas. I started reading it a few days ago, but I forgot about it... Until just now.
I love this video! Your planner is gorgeous. I’m definitely going to order some stickers from you next month
Aaa early! The video that i always look forward to every week ❤️
I liked the video even before the first/beginning ads ended.
Lots of love from India 🇮🇳
Hi. I thought this was good video. I don't mind lengthy planner vids when you're sharing so much. I appreciate you sharing your tracker.
Love this style of videos
Thanks for sharing your spreads Helen! rly rly enjoyed the video. if youre worried that quarterly flip throughs might be too long mayb you can do monthly ones? but either way i'd be down to watch it no matter how short or long it is. hope you have great days ahead
Another great video, Helen! I do have a question. I saw a foiled 'work' sticker on your first weekly spread. Can you post where you got them please? Thank you!
Enjoyed the longer video
Glad to hear that! Thank you Jaime!!!
Excited to try those cookies!! Took a snapshot :)
You've inspired me to get a hobonichi cousin planner and I'm so excited to use it! Do you also keep a diary/journal on top of the planner? or just do it all in here?
I enjoy all the video 👐🙌
Helen I love the Mon Tue Wed ThU Fri Sat sun stickers on your monthly. I can't seem to find them in your shop. can I ask if their yours or where you got them. ty
Being in the group and watching your videos makes me want to try the cousin...but I have no idea what I would use it for since I have all my planner systems set up already 🙃
Lovely!! Thank you so much!
Than kyo ufor watching Laura!
i don’t think you should do the next one shorter, i think you should do longer. i would watch you for hours, no doubt.
I would have been totally fine with a longer video! There is so much so discover in your flip-through :)
hi! i love your vids so much! btw I was wondering if anyone knows where to get the bird washi tape from week 2 of january
Longer the video the better 🥳
Gah you make me want one of these hobonichi so bad!
Hi, enjoy watching your videos! Here do you get your hobonichi planners from? If it comes directly from Japan, how long does it take to ship and did you have to pay additional duties? Thank you!
Can we please get some tulip stickers? Emoti size? Thank you in advance.
i love your videos :)
Could you please flip through your whole hobonichi 2021? Without speaking if you don't want to spend too much time, just flipping pages???
