      You should try them, they do produce lots of good size fish. They are much more fun than soft plastic, and
      strikes are ferocious.

    Great video mate, I've had some great success here on the Norfolk broads with Salmo Hornets and Butchers, never really stuck at the hard plastics but in the Autumn had a few decent Perch hit the sliders so stuck with it, think it's very much a confidence thing, great angling mate, if your ever in Norfolk, give me a shout and I'll give you a few areas to try. Tight lines.

      I'm originally from Bulgaria. So people there eat everything they catch. I have tried perch and is delicious, but fried carp or zander is best. If you ever go to Bulgaria, find a restaurant that offers fried carp ;)

    Great content !!! Some good sized perch there . Very impressive . You have convinced me to use hardbaits a bit more I think . Appreciate the tips too , great stuff . My biggest perch of 46cm fell to a Gunki Gamera and my second biggest of 43cm fell to a Duo Realis minnow . Thinking about it , the Gunki Gigan seems to always produce big perch when i use it . I find it an excellecnt search bait as it always brings the bigger perch out of hiding . Agree with the hooks , I try to use the thinnest hooks i can with everything . I have hooked many bigger perch in the cheek when they havent commited to taking the lure properly . Thinnier hooks are more sticky sharp . Great stuff !!! Been enjoying Camola and will be ordering more soon if you have them . Tight lines .

    New subscriber. love your videos. Great review on different twitchbaits and action to prove they actually work. Question : I see anglers reeling twitchbait first to a certain depth and then start twitching. You start right away. Is that because canals are very shallow ? Thx. Keep posting 👍🇧🇪

    • @hungryfish7352
      @hungryfish7352  Год назад +1

      Thank you for your support!
      Yes, the canals here are quite shallow approximately 1m-1.5m. So usually bot sides of the canals are shallow with the middle section of the canal is deepest. So once I cast on the other side of the canal I'm not trying to get my lure deeper, but I'm trying to keep it close to the bottom throughout the whole time.
      Also, I can suggest you to replace the hooks with thinner ones and strong line in case you hook something on the bottom(tyre, tree and so on), so when you start pulling to hook will spread and you will save your jerkbait(other ways might get quite expensive in very short period of time 😀 )

      Thank you! The rod is Yamaga Blanks Jig Perfect 72 tz nano. 1.5-15gr. If I have to compare it to a westin rod, this would be the westin w6 T&C 7-21, I used to own one of these rods, and they are amazing.

    Hi Stiliyan! Great content and some superb Perch. Tell me, do you use Flexonite 19 as your leader or titanium single strand? I couldn’t see it very well but it looked supple. What diameter/bs out of interest? My waters are full of jacks and fish to low doubles so with cranks I’m using Flexonite 0.25. Do you feel Flexonite allows a better action with the lure over titanium? Brilliant channel mate 👍
