Amazing perch ! Can't believe you don't have more subscribers. One of the best lure fisherman on RUclips. Well done and thank you, I have learnt so much from your videos.
Nice place to catch, great info and like the way you fish with respect. Also comes close I fish here and wunderfull to watch your video My regards from 🇳🇱
Great video mate, I've had some great success here on the Norfolk broads with Salmo Hornets and Butchers, never really stuck at the hard plastics but in the Autumn had a few decent Perch hit the sliders so stuck with it, think it's very much a confidence thing, great angling mate, if your ever in Norfolk, give me a shout and I'll give you a few areas to try. Tight lines.
Thank you, Craig! I have a friend who lives not far from there. He fished Norfolk Broads, but for pike. If I'm visiting him, I will let you know, we might go together 😉
Now being from the UK eating perch is not done and I would never have thought it was good to eat. But here in Switzerland you can buy it at the supermarket its one of the best fish I ever ate.
I'm originally from Bulgaria. So people there eat everything they catch. I have tried perch and is delicious, but fried carp or zander is best. If you ever go to Bulgaria, find a restaurant that offers fried carp ;)
@@hungryfish7352 I have had zander too here. I also had grilled carp in Asia. The perch surprised me the most. I will try carp in Bulgaria if i ever go for sure. Cheers.
Great content !!! Some good sized perch there . Very impressive . You have convinced me to use hardbaits a bit more I think . Appreciate the tips too , great stuff . My biggest perch of 46cm fell to a Gunki Gamera and my second biggest of 43cm fell to a Duo Realis minnow . Thinking about it , the Gunki Gigan seems to always produce big perch when i use it . I find it an excellecnt search bait as it always brings the bigger perch out of hiding . Agree with the hooks , I try to use the thinnest hooks i can with everything . I have hooked many bigger perch in the cheek when they havent commited to taking the lure properly . Thinnier hooks are more sticky sharp . Great stuff !!! Been enjoying Camola and will be ordering more soon if you have them . Tight lines .
New subscriber. love your videos. Great review on different twitchbaits and action to prove they actually work. Question : I see anglers reeling twitchbait first to a certain depth and then start twitching. You start right away. Is that because canals are very shallow ? Thx. Keep posting 👍🇧🇪
Thank you for your support! Yes, the canals here are quite shallow approximately 1m-1.5m. So usually bot sides of the canals are shallow with the middle section of the canal is deepest. So once I cast on the other side of the canal I'm not trying to get my lure deeper, but I'm trying to keep it close to the bottom throughout the whole time. Also, I can suggest you to replace the hooks with thinner ones and strong line in case you hook something on the bottom(tyre, tree and so on), so when you start pulling to hook will spread and you will save your jerkbait(other ways might get quite expensive in very short period of time 😀 )
Thank you! The rod is Yamaga Blanks Jig Perfect 72 tz nano. 1.5-15gr. If I have to compare it to a westin rod, this would be the westin w6 T&C 7-21, I used to own one of these rods, and they are amazing.
Great video as always. If you could do one on soft plastics and ultra light in winter that would be amazing. I've really learnt a lot from your videos and love fishing ultra light on the canal. 👍
Thank you! So you want to see a ultralight video on the canal with soft plastics. I will try to make one this winter and add some new rigs that are not very popular, but I have done some changes so that I can fish them in shallow water(canals)
It is good to hear what people want to see, makes my life a bit easier. We are having something like a friends competition at the moment in this will run till the end of December till then my aim is on big perch and soon there will be some pike videos as well. I hope I catch my first meter pike before end of the year.
@@hungryfish7352 your canal ultra light videos are the best and most informative on RUclips. Helped me catch all sorts of species this summer. I've been fishing for a long time but only started lure fishing this year so this will be my first winter of lure fishing.
Hi Stiliyan! Great content and some superb Perch. Tell me, do you use Flexonite 19 as your leader or titanium single strand? I couldn’t see it very well but it looked supple. What diameter/bs out of interest? My waters are full of jacks and fish to low doubles so with cranks I’m using Flexonite 0.25. Do you feel Flexonite allows a better action with the lure over titanium? Brilliant channel mate 👍
Thank you! I haven't used flexonite, I have used Knot2kinky and the one from the video is from ffs lures. www.ffslures.com/product-page/gurza-nitinol-wire-2m I hope this helps.
@@hungryfish7352 I have been looking at this at Todbor Manor , just wanted to make sure it was what your using . I got Daiwa Iso 5.9m telescopic (too heavy ) and Gunki Street 2.9m (its not perfect ) so have been looking at getting new one . I think i will order . How is the weight ?

Thanks for all info on cranks,IV never caught anything on them ever, but will give it a go this spring and summer, greetings from Roi.
Thank you!
You should try them, they do produce lots of good size fish. They are much more fun than soft plastic, and
strikes are ferocious.
Thank for all this.happy new year.
Like always very nice video and very helpful my friend . Thank you for sharing with us the best of your lures. Al the best🎣🎣🎣

We need another video from you dude .

Hey, which landing net and handle do you use?
Thanks! I bought it second hand, but I was told it is alpha tackle.

What wire traces do you use please
Glad I helped, I do use the gurza wire. I bought it from ffs lures and the best part is that you can tie it down no crimps needed.

Those are some crazy perch . What lenght nd lure weight rod do you use for twitching ?
Reel: Shimano Vanquish 2500HGS
Braid: YGK Super Jigman 1.0
Leader: Gurza

Oh I forgot to ask , what landing net and pole are you using .
It is alpha tackle, in the beginning I was sceptical about it, but now I simply love it.
