I've traveled almost all of Asia from Taiwan, China, Korea, Australia the white Asia and Japan. I was sitting outside a Family Mart at 6am getting a coffee and I noticed this old man picking up garbage. He put so much care and effort putting the garbage neatly in the truck I was so impress. Japanese people have so much pride in everything they do and I don't see that with Filipinos. These people live in squaller and unsanitary living conditions that cause birth defects and other health related issues, but they seem to not care. They keep on having more children relegating them to a life of poverty, the people and the local government doesn't care because they think this is acceptable. There is something wrong with these people. Philippines is the way it is because of the mentality of the people.

Strangely I was reminded of Okinawa in early 1960s when I was a child. I lived in a village with my mother and family. I was adopted to American military couple at age 7. My most memorable childhood memories was I was a child with my biological mama 💕 I never thought of it as slum. Nowadays it's freeways, highways and concrete buildings everywhere on Okinawa and I wish .........well, let's just say this video brought back beautiful memories and so Philippines 🇵🇭 seems warm and familiar 💜Thank you 😊

They keep on having more children relegating them to a life of poverty, the people and the local government doesn't to care because they think this is acceptable. There is something wrong with these people. Philippines is the way it is because of the mentality of the people.

I think this is the residential area within the university grounds called "Pook Palaris" which is quite slum like if i'm not mistaken, there were a handful of residential areas within UP Diliman campus for instance there is a residential area there that houses mostly active and retired U.P. teachers / professors and other people employed by the university those houses were a bit presentable compared to the one on the video, but still this slum area within UP campus is far more decent than the other slum areas in Metro Manila / NCR it may be owed or attributed to the rich lush vegetation inside the campus which gives some sort of environmental balance to the area(not to mention the more organised and semi-disciplined / responsible attitude of most of the residents), anyway thanks a lot for showing us a handful of interesting and splendid videos of places sir, kudos👍✌
